It would be a shame if the points came out and then something which is grossly undercosted in old points romps to victory anyway.

Thanks, and I appreciate your point but it would also be a shame if people who have spent months preparing an army for a tournament suddenly find it is unusable or hugely uncompetitive 2 or 3 weeks before the event. 

So either way round I don't think it's an unreasonable question.

Now that ghb2 has been announced for August, will this event still be using it regardless of how close the release is to the event? 

I'm just thinking that if the changes mean lists are illegal /don't work then 2 or 3 weeks isn't a long time to sort it out.

You can move up to your movement characteristic, usually 12". You can ignore terrain and other models as long as you end your move more than 3" from an enemy but not more than your movement from your starting point. 

The drawback of retreating is that you cannot then charge later in the turn. (unless you have a special rule)

regarding the lists, my only worry is the bellowing tyrant on the StoneLord... in my experience he is often charging all over the shop and it is really easy to find yourself out of effective range for bellowing tyrant... the amount of times i've found myself with my general the only person who could benefit has been a huge frustration. I might suggest putting the generalship on the huskturd instead as he's more likely to be positioned behind your battlelines and with the ward he is more survivable.

Really looking forward to this one, especially with the added bonus of an opportunity to try out the SCGT pack and missions.

Any plans for the Saturday night, gaming/socially? Would be interested in some sort of AoS skirmish/deathmatch type thing or maybe some narrative play

Either way, can't wait for this one
