25.3 UNIT SIZE
These entries list the minimum number of models a unit must have. When you select a unit to be pat of your army, you must take it at the minimum unit size unless it can be taken as an understrength unit or a reinforced unit (see below).
Since minimum unit size is defined as the minimum number of models a unit must have, we should be able to determine that maximum unit size would be fully reinforced. So for a unit of horrors maximum unit size would be 30 models. So even if you dont accept that Split and Split Again will allow you to add models above maximum with other abilities, you can still add models until you have 30 models.

Its more for oracular visions and demonic power. The CA on the normal Chaos Lord is very good for Archaon.

I think you are correct, and he cannot be the general. I am not sure about dropping the horrors for screamers, as that will weaken my objective game. Do I still need the Sorcerer Lord? I could just trade him for a change caster.

I have a tournament coming this Saturday, and I have been running a version of the Archaon Arcanum list for 2.0. Here is what I am thinking of taking:
Archaon - 830
Kairos - 435
Chaos Sorcerer Lord - 115 (General)
10x Pink Horrors - 215
10x Pink Horrors - 215
3x Screamers - 100
Spell Portals - 70
This leaves me with 20 points left over. Should I change anything?

Can a unique character choose a universal spell for their first spell? I know they cannot receive enhancements, but I am not sure if that precludes them from selecting one of the spells as their first.
