Well I will be repeating myself but I think that Bonesplitters will leave AoS for ToW. We know that orcs will return as one of The old world factions and it looks like TOW will heavily rely on older kits. Bonesplitters have no AoS models with the exception of Underworld warband. All their models will most likely be perfectly usable in TOW. And I think that GW is slowly scraping old kits that belong to TOW. According to rumours Wanderers won’t make the cut either which isn’t surprising since WE will be in TOW and proper AoS Kurnothi are approaching. So I think that GW will use orruk Dawnbringer book or maybe some later update to remove Bonesplitters from the setting.

Snarlfang down 15. I was hoping for a flat 100 to fit 4 in a Kruleboyz list.
Sloggoth up 20!! 😯 Hope this means some buffs are coming in the harbingers book for this handsome lad.
And overall points drops on the Kruleboyz earns a yay!!!
How are you finding Snarlfangs in KB lists? Want to add them ‘cause they look cool but they don’t seem to add anything significant.

Kruel Boyz monster killas? Have they just written of Bonesplitters at this point? 🙁
It would make sense. Bonesplitters are part of the old world. And 3 orruk factions are too much probably.

The second Dawnbringers book is an Orruk book buuuut It could be only Ironjawz.
Let’s hope there will be some focus on other orruk war clans. Although I wish they would split those factions into different books.

By the way do we know anything about the future of Kruleboyz?

I mean... even if old kit is back, who's going to stop you from using new one?
Well no one. And I do even own the old one. It’s just a waste of shelf space and production means which could be used for some brand new models.
-
That’s madness. What’s next? Old metal dryads from before the 6th edition?
-
-
Why is there a photo of wood elves with old treeman sculpt? What about that Plastic kit which is now in Sylvaneth range? I hope they are not wasting production and shelf space on model that was replaced a decade ako during the existence of old WHFB.

This is probably a wishful thinking but I see Wood elve....ehm Kurnothi.
-
Ok I was expecting some old models to return....but Bretonnians? Really? Those models are very very old. Yes some of them, mostly metal models, were great...at that time. Now all those models are obviously outdated. I am not sure whether this will be successful return. Let's hope TK skeleton warriors a.k.a. lego skeleton telegraph pole holders won't be returning.
Maybe I am too sensitive but seeing old discontinued Bretonnian army advertised as a new bright future of Warhammer somehow feels wrong.

Good first episode of Blacktalon and was excited to see the cameo of a certain follower of the hunter god!
Kurnothi appearing in it was certainly one of the highlights. I think it cements their presence in AoS setting.

6 if we count Malerions. Im of the belief that DOK and Malerions Aelves should be joined together upon release.
There are only 3 elven armies. CoS is just a soup of old models waiting to be dismantled and there is not a single aelf key word in the new Sylvaneth battletome and if you count them because they were an integral part of Wood elves then there are 2 orc armies because goblins and trolls were an integral part of Orcs and goblins army. (even in WHFB were spirits just allies of elves, not elves per se) Not that it changes your argument of too many elves, too few orcs, just needed to defend the Sylvaneth:D

Wild theory: Maybe the upcoming Kurnothi are for cities, and a replacement for the Wanderers.
If I am not mistaken Whitefang specified that there will be a release of new models for Sylvaneth after he said that something was coming regarding the Kurnothi.

Its a shame that wanderers wont make the cut but not a surprise. Here's hoping we see Kurnothi as a replacement soon, there was mention of more releases in winter so fingers crossed.
Maybe that battletome that will be released the same month as CoS is Sylvaneth with some Kurnothi sprinkled in as a substitute for Wanderers.

Anything Duardin just seems to get a laugh emoji lol, so either we're getting something soon or waiting for a long time.
Unless we're getting Legions of Azgorh revived soon-ish and not much for other Duardin factions.
I think squats are being squatted. Or maybe Votanned?

I don't know if I'm good freaking out or bad freaking out though, I'm so anxious for the future of FS and KO mainly.
Well Whitefang reacted with Haha icon on post with hopes for destruction and dwarven expansions so....

I am just a lurker here but god did I miss this forum.
So, what do you think about that new Tzeentch warband? It's so....unorthodox. I mean for a Tzeentch unit.

I was hoping for more ambitious changes....this seems more like errata than a new book.

And What about Tzeentch? Anything new?
-
Oh I doubt that was the last chaos warband for a long time. But hopefuly it was the last STD warband. I hope for god specific warbands. And we are probably going to get them. Those Rotmire guys are Nurgle I guess and Tzeentch with that Wyrdlights and obelisk from rumour engine is almost guaranteed.

Those warbands, should we expect new models or just mix of older models in a box with tokens and rules?
-
That new box is terrible. I seriously doubt that I will find any Skaven player willing to buy it in order to split the armies.

So it stays in the hands of people who are binning whole game systems, armies and kits (recent WHU cuts) without prior notice? Great, Well thanks for nothing then.
