  1. Havent been a part of this part of the forums yet but i want to share the progress i made this month. I'm not the best painter but i'm trying to get things done with the limited time i have. I still need to finish basing the whole army but i'm going to do that next month all at the same time.  I had a blast painting this and also learned a lot about using some different colors and lighter and darker tones. Also tried to speed up my painting a lot and still get a nice result. I am happy about how this turned out. I'll probably still touch up on some things i missed when i'm going to do the bases but i'm calling it done for now.

Also painted up this one. Already painted the eyes with a different blue to get a better contrast.

Watching that video with subtitles, and so far google's close captioning has transcribed "Beasts of Chaos" as  "Booster Cows", and that alone has made it worth watching to be honest.

Agent Sigma is also a good one XD.

Well 40K got some rumor about the new Eldar and CSM stuff. While not much of it is related to AoS, there is been speculation that finally a new Avatar of Khaine will come out. Unsure if it will be like Be’lekor and useable in AoS but the avatar does exist in both system and lore

    New eldar rumor? Link?

  4. Quick question while we are lacking any rumours anyway. I own Mollogs Mob and Rippas Snarlfangs, can i play those straight out of the box with the basic starter set? Or would i miss some of the rules/tokens/dice? Still hyped for Harrowdeep, give me a spiderfang warband please.

Can you expand on this as I’m not sure I understand what you mean? I personally think things are very diverse and outside of GW stepping back five years in how they communicate things, I think the hobby is in a good spot. There’s lots of tools easily available now to people and it’s easier to share how to do things (I remember the time before the internet!).

However, if you mean it’s expensive, that is another debate that’s been going on for years and GW seem to know what they are doing as they are still going. For the record, I would love things to be cheaper but it’s a hobby and I’ve grown past the I need all the models right now stage of my life and happy to take things a bit slower.

I agree with this. Since i started with WHFB things have become way more beginner friendly. We need less models to get an army together. We have better and more diverse paints. We have smaller systems like warcry and underworlds. Youtube/this forum are still teaching me new stuff about painting and motivates me to try new things. Imo now is a great time to get into this hobby. And to be honest many hobbies are expensive if u want to do it properly or compete in some form. Still having no free warscolls sucks :P.

Edit: Oh and every army getting released looks better than the one before it. Would be a nightmare to pick one to start with haha.

In this particular case, it seem kinda hard to fault GW for taking down the auction in question. I have not seen the auction that was taken down, but here's the name of another auction of that particular seller:

"Painted Miniature Age of Sigmar Goblin Rider Warhammer Squig Hopper Gloomspite"

It's an auction for this particular model from Raging Heroes:

    Grotix-Pumpkin-Rider-WEB_5000x.jpg?v=1606474080

So it's patently not an "Age of Sigmar" mini, as per the auction title.

The auction that was taken down was for a Mega-Gargant proxy. If that was listed with a similar title (like "Painted Miniature Age of Sigmar Giant Sons of Behemat"), then GW seems in the right in this case. This really is not any different from shutting down other knock-off sellers. In my mind, that counts as consumer protection if anything.

There is also the additional wrinkle that this particular seller seems to be selling home resin prints of files that come with a "no commercial use" clause, which has nothing to do with GW but is kinda questionable in it's own right.

I think this is something totally different. This is just false advertisement. It is not a "Painted Miniature Age of Sigmar Goblin Rider Warhammer Squig Hopper Gloomspite" and should be removed. Has nothing to do with GW being something imo.
