I keep thinking about getting a fatemaster but i hate the model lol.  Was thinking about trying to kitbash one but wouldnt know where to start

Same boat, fatemaster seems a bit meh. Thinking of straight up using ahriman for 40k... Do you guys think it is an ok replacement?

On a separate note, I was also looking to a very defensive board controlly list with host duplicitous and changehost. Plan would be to tag everything, score a lot of points and hope to high roll on the command ability. Does it have legs? Looks miserable to play but on paper seem quite strong... Am I missing something?

  2. Ok so I have one last question. To me, the changehost batallion, despite the steep 9 units costs, seems worth, even if it drives the army into super MSU mode. Do you think I should forget about the batallion and play larger units 9 / 6 flamers, 20 pink blob? Or changehost is the way to go?

Summoning wise what's a good rule of thumb for Dot?

    Thanks sir 🤙

Changehost/conflag is probably the way that most competitive/meta driven Tzeentch lists will be run for the foreseeable future.  Depends on your goal though. If it is to try win a tournament then this will probably be what you want.

I am glad I was on the right track :) cheers mate

  4. Hi guys, I am looking to jump onto the birdwagon for my next tournament season. Currently what do you guys think it is the way to go for competitve tzeentch?

This is a initial draft of changehost - conflagration that I was considering. Still very much in the air tho.

    1 Lord of Change

2 between Blue scribes, fatemaster and Changeling (this is hard)

    4x 3 Flamers

    2x 10 Pinks

    2 Exalted Flamers

What do you guys think? Are flamers still a thing?

  5. Hi guys and gals, I have been lurking around for a while but first time posting so I hope I am doing everything right. After a long hiatus from aos I kinda wanted to get back in the game and I was hoping to receive some guidance about what my next steps should be.

I have around 3k (according to battlescribe) points of Uncle Nagash:

    Nagash

    Mortis Engine

    Arkhan

    2 Morghast with spear

Wight king (both on foot and an horse)

    10 hexwraiths

    3 Spirit hosts

And 80 skeletons (with probably other 10 somewhere)

My question is: is there any chance I could make something competitivish (not tier 1 but still pretty good) without having to get 50+ Mortek guards and a Kavalos? :) I was actually hoping to come up with a plan and get some specific models to bring my current army in 2020 and living the dream of hand of dusting people. I was also surprised my battletome was still the most recent one despite being 2+ years old, is it pretty standard nowadays or we are due to a potential revamp in the near future?  Thanks all!
