Yeah I won't know how they will play until I have them all built up and painted only have about 80% left to go....

On another note I had a question for everyone.

What do you think the Aethershot Rifles sound like? It was bothering me earlier today is it like Voom or more of a Bangsizzle or even Screeeeeeeeeeeeee. Just has been bothering me all day today.

    I think a sizzling sound.

Or maybe like blasters firing in Star Wars.

Aethergold is a gas in its natural state, so maybe the sound superheated gas makes when it contacts atmospheric... well... air.

On another note. I think this has probably been mentioned before, but...

What we have seen thus far is basic infantry, cavalry, archers and the Light of Eltharion. These are the generic, non-elemental models.

Then come the stone mage, hammerers and the battle bovines. Mountain.

Do you think that the rest of the elements will follow the same pattern? That being one Special unit (hammerers), one hero (mage) and one big/special model (battle cows)?

So you fill your battleline troops with the generics, and then spice it up with an elemental unit or two.

This way, we can still see one more elemental aspect released (that's 3 warscrolls, not unreasonable), maybe more.

Teclis is an exception, as he has mastered (and therefore encompases) all the elements. He will be the only God tier release (Tyrion will just steal some of his spotlight).

I like the elegance of it. This way we could be getting a min. of 3 releases and a max. of 9.

Just wanted to chip in on the speculation.

Sorry for quoting myself (narcissistic of me), but paraphrasing this wall of text would be too much.

I still have a nagging feeling this is the likely outcome. Bear in mind I have no insider knowledge or experience with these matters, just a hunch.

Maybe Tyrion will be released, but how likely is it that they will release 2 God Tier units for 1 army at once?

Believe me, I would love to see him, but I'm just not sure.

Apologies for hitting you with another wall of text.

So speaks SanguinaryAxiom, predictor of nothing 😁

Has anybody thought out a colour scheme for themselves? I’ve been thinking of using the Lord of the rings high elf scheme, or something at least a little inspired by it!

Something pearlescent to represent light refracting from their armor for the plate. Some green/blue metallic for the scales. Light blue for the cloth. I am stumped on the robes though. White, maybe?

I had the same thought. Chameleon paints require an air brush last time I looked it up, but I found these things thanks to re-rolling 1's gaming channel.

I really wish I had these for my eels, just to make them look unique compared to other eels. Still like the way my idoneth turned out, but I think these would have been good too. I am thinking on using these on my Lumineth's weapons just to add some variety or coolness. Heck, I could see the Light of Eltharion in these colors...

Also, I like how the artwork makes the cow heads look a lot less silly. For some reason, the art makes the hammerers look really bloody awesome

    Yeah, these could work.

I believe a "mother of pearl" effect is the closest we can get to a prismatic/refracted  light effect.

Unless we sprinkle the minis with sparkle dust 🤣

  5. Hello. Long time lurker, first time poster.

I was trying to think of the best way to representing the color vibrancy of the faction. I was thinking some kaleidoscopic effect, where light is refracted over their armor.

But this would be difficult to achieve on a mini.

Do you guys think mother of pearl would look cool on these guys? It's the closest I could find to this effect.
