I am selling my high quality converted, sculpted and kitbashed Moulder army. Featuring custom scenic basing, oop and complex/professional kitbashes, and fully magnetised multi-weapon options, this is a great project that is ready to paint and play.
List:
Thanquol and Boneripper (converted using oop Tretch Craventail to make Arch-Moulder. Boneripper weapon options magnetised).
2x Master Moulders
3x Packmasters (converted using warcry bits)
20x Giant Rats (oop metals, FW resin and modern plastics)
6x custom rat Ogors
3x Hell Pits
I will also throw in the endless spells (minus vermintide) and gnawholes which are not fully assembled.
Asking for £700, UK only. Am open to offers. The value of the bits alone exceeds this asking price, let alone the time and effort that went into the conversions so please send me a message if you are interested.

Right folks, I need your help. I am planning on surprising my friends by taking Kharadron Overlords to a 1k tournament we are having between ourselves. They think I am working on something completely different so I am keeping my affiliation with our height-challenged friends on the down low. I have played a few Barak Zon lists back when they first came out but know Kharadron have taken a bit of a hit in AoS2. However some of the point changes intrigue me. I have settled on Barak Thryng, not only because I like the colour scheme but because i think at this points level they have a smashing set of rules. Here are the lists I am trying to decide between:
List one: Brokk + GunhaulerSpoilerSkyport: Barak-Thryng
- Additional Footnote: There's No Trading With Some People
Leaders
Brokk Grungsson (260)
- General
Battleline
10 x Arkanaut Company (120)
- 1x Skypikes
- 2x Aethermatic Volley Guns
10 x Arkanaut Company (120)
- 2x Light Skyhooks
- 1x Aethermatic Volley Guns
Units
6 x Endrinriggers (240)
- 1x Drill Cannons
5 x Grundstok Thunderers (100)
- 5x Aethershot Rifles
War Machines
Grundstok Gunhauler (160)
- Main Gun: Sky Cannon
- Great Endrinworks: The Last WordBrokk and the Endrinriggers gun it up the board and get stuck in, the Gunhauler and the Thunderers shoot away and the Arkanauts hold objectives. A pretty simple list. Brokk's point reduction makes him a serious player at this points level in my opinion so was keen to include him. I am aware the Gunhauler may not be wholly efficient, and basing a gunline around it may leave me dissapointed. On the other hand, I love the model, and I feel like a Frigate isn't going to be worth it.
List two: Ironclad
SpoilerSkyport: Barak-Thryng
- Additional Footnote: Without Our Ships We Are Naught.
Leaders
Endrinmaster (120)
- General
- Trait: Fleetmaster
- Artefact: Grudgehammer
Aetheric Navigator (80)
Battleline
10 x Arkanaut Company (120)
- 1x Skypikes
- 2x Aethermatic Volley Guns
10 x Arkanaut Company (120)
- 2x Light Skyhooks
- 1x Aethermatic Volley Guns
Units
3 x Endrinriggers (120)
- 1x Drill Cannons
War Machines
Arkanaut Ironclad (420)
- Main Gun: Aethermatic Volley Cannon
- Great Endrinworks: Incredible Self-healing Hull
This is a fun one. Everything sets up in the Ironclad. However when deployment ends, Fleetmaster allows me to completely change where the Ironclad is, and therefore repositions my entire army. There is also the option of leaving one unit of Arkanauts behind to sit on an objective if needs be. Other than that, it is pretty self explanatory; I feel like very little at this points level can deal with an Ironclad, and with the self healing hull, riggers, and endrinmaster, as well as without our ships footnote, it will be healing more damage than it is likely to be taking most turns before it is inevitably charged. The navigator neatly brings the points to 100, but the extra d3 and ability to unbind is an added bonus I think. I considered giving the Endrinmaster an autotinkerer instead for extra healing, but I reckon the hammer will prove useful when he inevitably gets out his boat.
What do you guys think? Have I gone mad?

Played 1k Darkwalkers against Idoneth eels a couple days ago. Foolishly got caught in trying to ambush as much as possible in as sneaky way as possible which left the stuff I had to put on the board from the start to be demolished. There is definitely legs in it at that point level though, I just took the units I thought were cool.
I agree I think the chariot is pretty good now. I like it as a guaranteed turn 2 summon if things get sticky.

Considering the following for a 1k tournament I am running with some friends near the end of the year. What are your thoughts?
Allegiance: Legion of Azgorh
Mortal Realm: Aqshy
Leaders
Shar'tor the Executioner (220)
- General
Daemonsmith (100)
- Pyre Rune Staff
- Artefact: Ignax's Scales
Battleline
6 x Bull Centaur Renders (360)
10 x Infernal Guard Fireglaives (100)
War Machines
Magma Cannon (140)
Endless Spells
Balewind Vortex (40)
The Burning Head (40)
Total: 1000 / 1000Figure I can stick the Daemonsmith on the balewind and try to do as much damage from range as I can with it and the magma cannon, hopefully taking out some heroes. I don't know much that could stand up to Shar'tor and 6 Bull Centaurs on the charge without taking a bit of a whalloping at this points level. Burning Head mainly because I like the mini and I think it fits the army.

Thinking very closely about the possibility of signing myself up for warhammer achievements. Looked like a blast last year.
Will the pack be up before Sunday evening?

Love that jaw on the Gore Gruntas. I always felt like those models were missing something and that hits the spot.

Awesome concept, fantastic execution with your Sylvaneth. Been following them eagerly on Instagram.
Also I love that Elf, a big far cry from the usual vibe of Blood Bowl minis we see but it works extremely well.

One of the most wonderful looking mixed death armies I have ever seen. Every unit has its unique flavour but it all ties together so nicely. As well as that, your mix of textures (the ethereal blue, the tarnished metal, the bone) all look excellent.

Some wonderful looking conversions in here.

Just sent my payment. I think I might have paid £47 in total by accident though.

Hello everyone. So I think this is going to be pretty cool.
I've been involved with Inq28 for a long time, and my favourite part of White Dwarf every month is the Blanchitsu section. But I'm also hugely interested in the Age of Sigmar and I think there is a lot of potential in the setting for introducing some of what makes Inq28 so much fun: the conversions, the stories, the shades of grey and the grimdark.
I know some of you are doing this sort of thing already, but for those of you looking for an excuse to get started with warbands and alternative takes on the Nine Realms then hopefully this is the place for you.
Ive expressed my interest in this project already and am already working on some warband ideas. Looking forward to seeing what people come up with!

Awesome conversions, very creepy. I love your colour palette too, the dark green with the stark bone colour works fantastically, and looks very unique.
-
Are there still spaces? I'm only an hour away on the bus so could make it if you are still looking for players.
-
Looks good so far. Very unique colour scheme, I like the brassy, earthy tones. Keep it up.

Wonderful work! Your choice of spot colours on the blades contrast wonderfully with the mottled textures of the wood and leaves. Great stuff.
I am also a big fan of the bases. They look natural but very mystical, befitting the Sylvaneth. I'd love to know how you did them.

So are we not getting any new Age of Sigmar models before christmas? (I'm not counting blood bowl of course) Bit of a shame.

All I need in my life are a Halfling Blood Bowl team, Treeman included.

I like the look of the armoured guy a lot. I think it fits the theme definitely.
For dynamic spear models, how about something like Valkia the Bloody? I also thought of a few 40k DE models like Lelith Hesperax or the Succubus. You could also try something like the deathbringer with spear for a change of look, you'd have to do a lot to it to make it fit the theme however.

Following this thread with interest. Love the old realm of chaos stuff, and there are some inspired conversions here. Keep it up!

I attended Clash of Empires at whw a couple weeks ago. It was my first tournament and I had a great time. Will probably be signing up for this too.
