[Wondering about some battleline rules with a Clan Skryre General]

So I CAN use a skryre lord and still take clanrats as battleline? Sick as, that's all I wanted to clarify.

So I've seen a number of lists with an arch-warlock or some other skryre hero as the general, and several blobs of clanrats as battleline. But I also read somewhere, that if your general is Skryre you can only take clanrats as allies? Anyone know?
