I've never had that problem. How do you end up losing the 30%? I ask out of curiosity.

Yes basicaly Like Flippy Said. I have the same Problem.

And the Shades have some Secret "Open Cap and pull human Hand" device in it. SciFi Technologie. I always spill These

  2. Mostly citadel because thats what i started with. And the Paint Tutorials used these colours. I Like the paints themselfs but the Pot is absolut garbage. Designed to lose 30% of your Paint. I switch them Out with vallejo step by step

I guess Fantasy were before their chapters... so who copied who? It is just nonsense to start this conversation. If you look at it as something from 40k is because you are deeper in 40k (or you have more references from 40k) than from AoS, IMO. It feets the Cults Umberogen without a problem for AoS. It is similar to Zenestra and their palanquin guys.

The asthetik fits well in AoS. Thats true. I always find it a bit Out of place in 40k. Why play SciFi If you Paint Knights with swords in the end.

But since GW has this theme now implemented in 40k and its Well selling there i personaly find it a bit boring to have the same in AoS as Well. I would prefer to differentiate them more from space marines Not make them more similare.

But i understand why people Like it

  4. I hoped for something Else with the New Stormcast.

They Look way to much Like Dark Angels and Black Templars. Feels Like a cheap Copy for me with all These religious Scrolls and the Mini is so busy Overall. I prefer the more Roman asthetik ( Stormstrike Chariot, Praetors) than the religious temple knight Theme.

But there are enough stormcast Minis anyways so i am Happy to skip a few. Maybe These Guys with a different head on a mighty steed could Change my opinion.

I don't think it's an error. It's a way to cut down on rolling dice for the sake of rolling. Instead of having to roll a 3+ and then roll D3 mortals, you do it all in a single die roll. It also makes it so you'll never only do 1 Mortal. It's a clever streamlining of what we're used to.

"Do D3 Mortal wounds" would be quick clever writing. Its quite the opposite.

Otherwise i Like the warscroll Design and the command abilities so far.

  6. I really like where the story with stormcast is going. Makes them more interessting for me. But I wished the "Sigmar Lied" to be about a bigger surprise.

The SCE Models in the Trailer are Not my Cup of Tea. They are so incredible chunky with oversized shoulder Pads and Look Out of proportion in my eyes. Maybe the actual models will look great. The latest Models " Blacktalons, dragons" for example are extremly good. So i will wait for actual model pics before i judge them.

And with the new draconith brothers filling a similar niche, I can see the stardrake getting left on the backburner. I'd love a new version since, IMO, it's pretty underwhelming as a big centerpiece, but (again, just my opinion) the only models that really need a do-over are the dracoths and Celestant-Prime. I hate to bring out such a tired comparison, but they really look like something out of WoW or a cheap mobile game (that's trying to look like WoW).

I can't speak for anyone else, but I hope the Sacroscant and Vanguard models stick around. They look good already and different armor styles would help them stand out and keep the army from looking too monotonous.

My poor Dracothian Guard. I Hope and think they stay. Stardrake also still looks dope. The Models are maybe 7 years old? Thats still to early to retire. Group them in one scroll and its fine. They just need to group all those 5 wound heros into one warscroll. "Knight of Azyr". And the book is half as thick.

Totally agree on the celestant Prime so. Found that Thing ugly from the beginning

  8. As a SCE player i actually hope for no new Models for at least 2 years. I have enough to paint and such a wide range of minitures. Its time for others to move in the spotlite. CoS would be perfect as the beginner Good Guys too.

But I Hope for Malerion vs Skaven in AoS 4.0. Changes are Low but that would be awesome

  9. I am honestly glad that the bitz they showed so far are not to advanced.

Old Empire has a 15 - 16 century HRE asthetic. The new Cities Artwork indicates a more steampunk 17 - 19 century nation. Go some years further and you get the Deathkorp of Krieg, which are basically just world war 1 Germans with laser guns.

I have no doubt we get really cool advanced Steampunk stuff with the new release and i look forward to it. But i also want down to earth simple human soldiers with sword and shield. I think it fits perfectly. Our 19 century had skyscrapers, Air ships and machine guns on one side while the life in a little european village was still like in the middle ages. And the realms are way bigger and different than our world so both makes perfectly sense.

  10. Hi,

Did the Warscroll change recently? The bow was 2D6 attacks. Now its only 2. In the App.

I have one and wanted to make him somehow happen despite his bad Warscroll. Now its even worse. The nice ranged attack was his only pro over the LC Stardrake.

  11. Hi thanks for the replies.

In my last game the opponents Monster attacked the flank of my 5 vindictors and killed them all. Only one model was in range (1 Inch) for Blaze of Glory.

So i can try to get closer with the Hallowed Knights Bonus first. Pile in and Fight? Could have gotten more Models into Blaze of Glory range with this method.
