Ardboys once again become the shizz. They went DOWN by 5 points and are battleline at 5 models, super efficient.

Brutes are once again useless, are boys are just better with that price split. As is the footboss.

Are they really useless? That Ardboys is Battleline at 5 models are really nice yes, but they cap at 15 models per unit. And you can only bring 2 units with 15 models in each, then you have to spam 5 man units. Wasnt Ardboys strength in numbers? To me it would seen Brutes are still looking good at 5 models.

In your list though with the Big Boys its perfect with the 5 man Ardboys unit as Battleline. But that list focuses on the MKs to do the dmg, not so much the Ardboys.

  3. With the new Contest of General which tell you how many of every unit type you can bring etc. Which of the alternativ is an unit that is not Battleline? Because if i understand correctly, "Reinforced Units" are units that is taken more than Minimum sizes.

"Perhaps you noticed the line from the Contest of Generals battlepack that mentioned reinforced units? These units are simply double the size of the minimum listed in their Pitched Battle profile. If the unit has the Battleline battlefield role, you can reinforce them twice, making them three times the minimum size."

Looks good! I'd change one little thing though:

a max unit of spite rev's is 200 points, so I'd change the 10x tree rev's to 5x tree rev's. You probably want to use the tree rev's to capture free objectives and perhaps kill off a wounded hero or screen an objective you own. having 10 instead of 5 tree rev's in one unit isn't really going to help that much.

Do keep in mind that spite rev's are mostly glass cannons. Most people recommend dryads instead, especially since you have the damage covered with kurnoth's. I like a big stack of spite-rev's though

Great input! I missed that discount on the last 5 Spites get.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting some dryads aswell, but as I want to start slow I wanted to use the dryads I have for summoning.

    Thanks alot!

Ah, yeah, you're right. We were so CP hungry in the last book regardless if Soulblight or Legion of Blood. Now there's Kastelai and enough CP. Finally ❤️

I read it as you will get 1 extra CP as long as your General is alive, and not 1 per General. But you would still get the extra CP if you have a named character that acts like an General that is alive, when your appointed General is dead.

Oh, and those who counts as an General but isnt gets the 18"range on their CA. Atleast this is how I read it.

What do you think of Gravelords in 1000 points games.

Trying to avoid 400+ points characters like Vamp Lords on Dragons that could be considered overwhelming in low points games but would like to use some aggressive units like Graveguard or Vargheists.

    Or just go big:

    Allegiance: Soulblight Gravelords
    - Lineage: Avengorii Dynasty

    Leaders
    Vengorian Lord (280)

    Battleline
    20 x Deadwalker Zombies (115)
    Terrorgheist (305)
    Zombie Dragon (295)

    Total: 995 / 1000
    Extra Command Points: 0
    Allies: 0 / 200
    Wounds: 58

I think so, it looks like the exact same template as the Awakened Wyldwoods.

Yeah, I thought so too. That would be great if that's the case, that box seems like a bargain, especially if you play Warcry and slowly building an Sylvaneth army as I do.

  10. I really want to try out the Avengorii Dynasty, but Im having a bit of trouble getting a list together that feels good. I really like Radukar so I would like to try fit him in aswell. Since I Dont have any Death models I was thinking of buying two FEC Start Collecting Box and build it from there. I came up with this list so far, but I feel something is missing. What do you think?

    Allegiance: Soulblight Gravelords

    - Lineage: Avengorii Dynasty

    Leaders

    Radukar the Beast (315)

Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon (435)

    - Deathlance

Lauka Vai, Mother of Nightmares (285)

    Battleline

    40 x Deadwalker Zombies (230)

    20 x Deadwalker Zombies (115)

    Terrorgheist (305)

    Units

    6 x Vargheists (310)

    Total: 1995 / 2000

    Extra Command Points: 0

    Allies: 0 / 400

    Wounds: 135

Especially since the standard VLoZD does not have a command ability anymore.

Oh, Ive missed that. Well, that sucks. Does Prince V benifit from Avengoriis traits for units with keyword Vampire Monster?

Has anyone finalised an Avengorii list yet?

I feel a bit lost trying to put on together. :)

Was thinking the same. Is it bad to bring Radukar the Beast in an dynasty outside Vyrkos?

Some big dragons, maybe an VLoZD, Vengorian lord, an unit of Vargheists and then Dire Wolves to fill out the lasts spot for Battleline? I do like the Zombies aswell though.
