holy chariot that's the best conversion I've ever seen. Great paintjob too - the model & theme is much better than GWs ossiarch bonereaper concept.
Do you plan to build up a whole army around him, or does he remain lonley?
Thanks a lot! I'm just a big TK fan and was always hyped by Settras awesomeness.
At the moment I just use him in my "regular" Tomb Kings army using Katakros' rules, certainly not competetive but fun. I don't think the conversion lends itself much to kickstart a OBR-to-TK project, as I basically removed everything OBR from the model.

Thanks man! Glad you like it!

I was thinking, some day, to make an army of OBR and slightly convert them wih Tomb Kings shields and various elements (I have a lot of old bits)...but this is beyond! Many thanks! I keep thinking along the same way, but still feel it'd be a lot of work to merge the aesthetics.

Ironically this concept is a thousands time cooler from a lore viewpoint and just in the coolness factor than katakros himself
Well, Settra rules 😉

Sadly I didn't take many WIPs but I attached a pic of the models pre-priming

It did indeed ^^ I distanced myself from black rims tbh. Did them on my FEC. The contrast is just too harsh and it looks artificial on the tabletop. I much prefer rims that blend with the base.

Alright thank you. We just weren't sure whether it would count as triggering the same ability twice. (as one can't heal or deal damage twice f.ex.)

Hi there,
we had our first game including Maggotkin recently and ran right into a pretty unclear situation concerning the Cycle of Corruption.
The Cycle was on 6 (doing mortal wounds at the start of the hero phase) and then turned to 7 (healing at the start of the hero phase) at the start of the battleround.
At the start of the Maggotkin Hero Phase the cycle heals the Maggotkin units as per corrupted regrowth (7).
The Maggotkin general then uses his Command Trait "Grandfather's Blessing" to turn the wheel back to 6 (also 'at the start of the hero phase')
The question now: Does the damage from 6 trigger right away, basically using two active effects of the cycle in the same turn, as it is still the start of the hero phase or has the" activation" of the cycle already passed when it was healing?
It'd be great to get a well-founded answer to this (please no simple 'yes' or 'no').
With thanks
DD

Might look cool indeed, I just don't think it would fit my idea and still end up more OBR than TK. I guess I'd much rather go for a pure TK count as OBR army tbh... just too hard (and expensive) to get.
