  1. Well i just got another 5 wild riders, so i get the 1.5k list closed for now and ever: Prince, Watcher, Strider, Finder, Weaver, 20gg, 20gg, 10eg, 10eg, 5ww, 5ww and Pathfinders for total 1440pts.

No sotw for now... (hardcore mode)

Its a pretty easy and funny army to have and it's fully high-level painted :D. If i need to play 2k, i'll just ally GladeLord on ForestDragon, Mercs, etc.

So thats all of Wanderers for me right now...

COUPLE QUESTIONS PLS. ¿Can i deploy only some of the units of the Batalion at the start of the game and the other in the first turn, or it's all or nothing? ¿Its anything wrong if i don't deploy any unit at all at the start of the game?

    I'll send photos. TY

  2. I've playing some games vs gloomspite gitz recently. Well i normaly do decent damage to them but the tought part is when trying to get to objectives, wich normaly becomes a suicide, becouse all of that stabbas and loonsmashas... On top of that, theres that teleporting spell for teleporting troll directictly inside my ***

My list is so average: Nomad, Watcher, Finder, Weaver (singer of spells), and a GladeLord of forest dragon. then 20 eg, 2x 20 gg, and wild riders.

I'm not playing pathfinders couse no models.

sometimes i get first turn to get objectives with eg and wr, thats all i can smell. If i take second turn, maybe i do more damage but then i dont get objectives... any thougts? Ty

So, I had  my first game with Wanderers today at 1500pts. It As exciting as it was, I'm curious to know a few things:

    1) When is the right time to move up with Eternal Guard vs Boughing up?
    2) I've read somewhere in this thread that one of the more viable ways to deploy is to castle up and wait for them to come to you; what is the best way to go about that and/or is there a way to move up in a defensive ball and take objectives?

i only used once but.. i charged after shooting support from other unit and took objectives. Then a lot of stabbas charged my EG and i lost few, but the last 14 guys took the defensive stance and sticked whole game there vs stabas. BTw if enemy takes double then you are not able to ude the defensive stance.. so its so risky... I'm still not sure whats the best way to use them... maybe the best use is to deploy close to enemy, inside cover if possible, and just bait.. I don't see them as natural objective takers nor defenders, becouse you need them on frontline.

The Spellweaver brings back Wanderer models only, so would not work on allies or mercenaries.

i just mean that is kinda necromantic, so a mercenary necromancer and few skeletons could fit in the army in terms of lore.

Thanks a lot! And Please don't die,-  it is so rewarding when the army comes together - I just had this moment when I finished more Glade Guard and got to the Basing.  Still there are 5 Glade Guard left out of 30 😬

    Show full army!

They look great! Also, it looks like these are eternal guard weapons, on WWR bodies. Any reason for that

just used hoody heads, just becouse i like them more 😬 Those EG are the last ones to get a 1K fullpainted army.... god, this hobby is hard...

BTW! i was wondering about including the marauder mercenaries in my way to 1500 to get some extra melee people. ¿How you guys feels about them? They feel pretty wanderer-ish, do they? Also could be converted a little bit.

Just to chime in on the Ally talk, i've never understood why they don't allow Wood Elves to be taken as allies for Wanderers. Fluff aside they're not game changing warscrolls and would allow people to field some of their cool old models that they PAID GW money for.

i think communities should push just like videogames communities do to make "warhammer" move his ass

Agreed to both of you.  I don’t know why it feels like such little thought is put into these updates.  Unless it’s the highly unlikely event that the aelves are getting a battletome that specifically buffs GG within the  next month 😅

Dreaming about that is like being on drugs. Hate it, but cannot quit it.

Is that not insanely imba that glade guard's ONCE per game against blood warriors is still worse than the same amount of points in sisters of the watch who just have to sit there?  Either Sisters are too cheap or glade guard need to be buffed...

Glade Guard 100 points would have been awesome 😢

Not to mention they are best target for your Spellweaver to ressurect since spell is model not wound base. Idk really why ppl complain so much about WR, even with 120 pts they are solid choice (for me) to help with flank attack since they can run and charge same turn

thanks both :P i think im gonna buy.

    ur fault.

  11. HEy i see Wildriders so expensive even with the point reduction in comparison with similar units from other armies such as Savage BoarBoyz, or even Saurus Knights. Dire wolves seem better too.

Do you guys find WR usefull in any case? thnks

    Salutations

I've used the same Glade Lord as my Nomad Prince, too! I put the Hawk on the same base, though. She's a gorgeous model, and I'm glad to see her still around :D

Yup + she uses the sword as if it was a shield. Becouse she's a Jedi.

Hello and welcome! That’s awesome. I also used the hooded heads for the eternal guards, good taste! 😄

Thanks! Yeh, they seem more wanderer-ish and easy to paint for me :'P
