[Tempest Eye Discussion]

I'm thinking of trying something fun using the available synergies. General is a Knight Azyros with the Zephyrite Banner and Aetherguard Captain. Nearby are a group of endrinriggers with a chemist nearby turn 1. Can't be retinue unfortunately, so not sure how to handle that. 

Is there any viability to using this group as a heavy alpha strike? Idk the odds based on deployment, but 15" move with a refillable +1 charge is pretty decent. Then maybe add a mage for +1 attack or pistoleers/outsiders to enjoy the +1 to hit. 

 

Is this viable at all, or just for being silly in games?

Is an Ironclad worth it without using any other ships? I've had one sitting in my closet for about a year because I love how it looks but don't play KO. With this new CoS release I was thinking I'd play Tempest's Eye and maybe use some of my existing dwarf units as AC of thunderers.

I would love things like helmets (great if they fit the heads, okay if they don't), random armour pieces (breastplate, one greave etc, like the arch regent), or banner poles.

We didn't get the full caster court I was hoping for, but we can make a decent approximation. Archregent has two casts/unbind, can take the trait for +1 to all magic rolls, and then the artifact for a +2 total. Or upgrade a courtier to a wizard with that specific trait. Add an allied Arkhan and there's some decent casting power. 

Definitely not what we were hoping for, but there's some potential.
