Hello fellow perverts (I really hope this doesnt offend anyone :). Should a mod feel the need, just redact it.). I would like to start a Slaanesh army with these models available KoS, Shalaxi, Viceleader, Daemonettes, Seekers and thats it.
The reason for such limitation is that I would like to go fully 3D printed and I dont have suitable models for the rest of stuff. I may be able to meshmix an Enraptures from other models but certainly no chariots, no epitome. I will also buy a fane because there is not a printable alternative period. So my question is, what can I build with these? I thought about Revellers with two full units of daemonettes, KoS, Shalaxi and some filler units and heroes, but it looks like hero heavy with Sybarites is a better approach. What do you guys think?
Is this really worth? I don't know exactly your models, but 3D printed minis are usually really bad looking, unless you pay for a print maybe more then for GW models. Maybe it's ok as a proxed model before you buy the original one, but having "fully 3D printed" army is quite strange and seems kind of like stealing to me. I would not mind playing against it as "testing army" but I would be sad if someone would be using this repeatably.. Is this really what you want?

Won't make you many friends but should be very effective, most of the time. The problem is going to be when you face a horde army and produce very few summoning points you'll round out of models very quickly. Makes it all a bit rock, paper, scissors.
I think most people look to Beasts since so many Slaanesh options are just bad value for points (almost all chariots, fiends, daemonettes) , so beast give you some more options, which generally do well with the exploding 6s of Slaanesh.
To fine tune I'd drop the Chaos Warriors and The Masque to get 15 more Hellstriders (one unit of 10 to keep drops down). Will give you the option of charging in your battle line to break through screens without exposing your characters. Otherwise well screened armies will take you apart piecemeal.
Fair point and I was definitely thinking about it when I was making the list. But, I usually play 2k tournaments in one club and there is really few horde armies, so I won't be meeting them to much. And if I do, its the weak point for sure.

Hello! I'm totally new to Slaanesh. (but not to AoS) Last week I did a lot of thinking about making a list for my future army. But I'm surprised, how often I see mix of Slaanesh and Beasts. Is it really the strongest way to play it? I was thinking about something absolutely different, I don't like playing too much hordes. I sow few list of this kind but I want to discuss it, before I put my money in it..
Idea is simple. 4 drops, decide who will start, 4CPs in turn 1 (1 for battalion, 1 for battalion ability, 1 for turn, 1 for using an artefact, then throwing him to the terrain) charge in T1, Then summon Deamonets on objectives, with possible Herald of Slaanesh to chainsummon, maybe summon Keeper if any die. I know I don't have bodies for holding objectives in base list but here I hope summoning wil do..
Advices? Is it ok? Should I do some changes? Should i throw this to a trashcan and ho for Beast list? -
Still selling them, also added somem odels and lowered price

Hello, I would like to sell my Stormcast army. I have done TONS of converting and kitbshing work there by the way. Almost all of these models are unique (Only two paits of evocators are the same and may be some of liberators). Lot of these models are from soul wars/tempest of souls but they are a lot different than original ones.
List of models:
10x Sequitors with greatmaces
10x Sequitors with swords (5 of them have liberator blades)
2x Liberators with Grandhammers
8x Liberators with maces and shields
5x Evocators Tempest Blades and Stormstaves5x Evocators with Grandstaves
5x Retributors (2 Starsoul maces)
3x Prosecutors (1x Trident 2x Javelins, Unique conversion from starter ones wtih hammers)
3x Cellestar Ballista with three pairs of crew1x Knight incantor (Head and shoulders conversion)1x Lord-Arcanum on foot (kitbashed)1x Gavriel Sureheart (kitbashed)1x Lord Ordinator (headswap)1x Lord-Celestant1x Lord-Castellant (head and weapon swap)1x Gryphound1x Lord-Relictor1x Astreia Solbright1x Lord-Arcanum on gryph charger (with dying orc on base)Added:9x Raptors with longstrike3x Aetherwings1x Knight-Azyros2x Sequitor with Grandammer
All together it should get around 3600 points.+ I can add 2018 SCE battletome for free

List 1 feels like its low on bodies and doesn't really have a synergy other than the 9 Longstrikes. In isolation all units are great, which is sort of the Stormcast thing I guess, but you're unlikely to be attacked in isolation. If you're going Anvil shooting you really need to screen the missile unit, but this list feels like you're trying to get away with everything being punchy. Having said that I've never seen it played, only know the theory, so I could be talking nonsense.
List 2, taking 3 Ballista without an Oridinator feels like tempting fate. If you want them to do something, which presumably you do as there's 3 of them, get rid of an Incantor and take an Ordinator to maximise their investment.
Again, the units in isolation will be fine but four units of models and one big mob sort of communicates your intentions beforehand I think. Evocators are too expensive to be used to hold objectives, so I assume they're there for the Cleansing Phalanx? In which case having one super empowered unit of Sequitors, half of whom won't be able to fight because their footprint is about a yard wide, and then other wee runty unit of empowered Sequitors feels misguided. I know 20 are cheaper in bulk and it's basically impossible to chew threw them up but I think you'd get a lot more value out of the battalion with a 10 and a 15. Or alternatively, don't take Cleansing Phalanx, make the Evocators a 10, and then bump up the 5 Sequitors to a 10 with the points saved.
For both, In straight up fights you'll do a lot of damage but you're really lacking MW output which in my experience is the thing that tips SC over from being quality combatants to winners when you get into combat. Due to the cost of our units if combats are drawn out then having a unit stuck in combat or it's movement dictated by surrounding enemies is costlier for us than it is for most as we don't have the bodies to steal objectives or reinforce. You need that one unit who reliably blows something up in a turn which is why Evocators are so great, they essentially attack twice and the second time they don't need to roll to wound. They're a reliable cutting edge. I'd say at the moment against things that ignore rend or have high saving throws, you're going to get stuck in fights that you can't quite win in time, and then either swamped or outmaneuvered.
Thank you a lot sir!
After a while, I came up with two new options. In Liberator version I can eventualy change 5 liberators for a Commet, but I've played Comet Before and I don't like it too muchm plus just 5 libs seems just to be judged to death. .. -
Hello! I'm still new to aos and I'm considering two lists (I can still make some changes) for 2k tournament. I'm not sure which should I choose.
I'm affraid about bad descision making on Anvils which are kind of "one trick pony". I have to send my list in 3 days so I don't have much time to try these. I have a bit less then 20 games played of AOS, so I feel really new to the game.
Please, please give me some advices
After I closed the warswcroll builder, I realizedthat I can have one more artifact on list 2. Nevermind, Ill ad it later..

Thanks, seems legit. I don't need any metal models , I'm ok with plastic ones - and it's even better if my Thuner and Blood models will fit other clan rats. Only think I'm worried about is that there will be much better battleline group then clan rats in new battletome. Lets just hope it won't happen

Waiting for the battletome is definitely the better way right now.
but if you really just can’t wait, I’d recommend you to start a mixed skaven force.
playimg them mixed gives you the option to literally just take what you like. The downside in it though, is that you need at least 40-60clanrats as battleline right now. Since they are the only generic battleline for the skaven.
Thanks, to be honest, this is exactly what I wanted to read :). If clanrats are basic battleline, I can just start with them and wait for the battletome for the rest of the army. I really don't want to start something now what I would not be using later.

Hello! I'm thinking about building Skaven army for a while and I like Clan Verminus the most. But, I have some Skyre stuff too, because I have old Thunder and Blood starter pack. Can you please give me some recommendations when to start building Skavens? Should I build just one clan, or can I mix it by some usefull way? OR Should I just be patient and wait for new battletome? Thanks

Well, I played Gav 10 mam evo bomb on 1500p tournament this Saturday. Only game I lost was against new goblins. That guy wiped my 10 evos in one turn (one unit of fanatics and one Mangler Squigs, he did not even used all squigs atacks). On turn two he smashed bigger part of rest of my army.
I won other twogames (Ironjaws and Sylvaneth and as new player on aos I even had fun) but for new goblins I was like no real contest.
Overall, I think that means that biggest weaknes of gavriel bomb is low survivability when it meets another stomp army just with better dice rolls or simply having first attack.. As Gavblmb is kind of a one trick pony, this just hurts a lot.

so since AOS2 came out, i love the Dracolines and ive been trying to basically run a cat spam list. ive had mixed results.
generally they shred most things they touch, but against mass shooting lists or something like nighthaunt that ignores rend, they just sort of fall apart.ive experimented with 5 units of 3 with the mounted Lord Arcanum and 4 units of 3 with 2 mounted Lord Arcanums, but the best results ive had was from something like this (i dont remember the exact list)
Allegiance: Stormcast Eternals
- Stormhost: Anvils of the Heldenhammer
Leaders
Lord-Arcanum on Celestial Dracoline (240)
- General
- Trait: Deathly Aura
- Artefact: Soulthief
- Spell: Stormcaller

Celestar Ballista (100)
Total: 1960 / 2000
Extra Command Points: 0
Allies: 0 / 400
Wounds: 101it still needs some tweaking to really work, but it did alright compared to the prior lists ive tried
I would cut one judicators unit and put in 10 liberators or 5 liberators and Heraldor.
10 libs for protection of your shooting power and objective control
or 5 for the same reason plus heraldor (I believe he is 100p too) to allow your evos retreat and charge to trigger their charge ability each turn.

I love the Castellant, probably too much.... He and the Relictor are my stars,
Which would you take if you had to pick just one?
I would take Castellant. He has quite strong 100% success ability. You don't have to cast roll anything to make him useful.

Uhm, guys, talking about lore, ket me ask a stupid question..
Is there a reason in oore, why are stormcast mafe in bigger scale then for example empire? Should those guys be bigger “race” or whatever? Or it’s jist because low model army concept and easier detail paintjob?
I love stomrcast models but I’m really upset about this, I’d like to use them in my dnd sessions too and I simply can’t because of scale...

But it’s still confusing because it says you can arm the Prime with a cache if they have a weapon and shield but the models with caches have neither!
You can give it shield, I simply did not - I will put the shield on his back and his sword to a scabbard.

Hello there! Im new to Living City and i've been thinking about my list. I came up with this - should be quite control list with a lot of deesptriking harass, super tanky guard (especially in forest) and alfastrinking Durthu with tons of heal. What you guys think, could this work?
