  1. I'm new to Soulblight (and 3.0) and would like some feedback on this list I'm theorizing:

    Vyrkos:
    Radukar the Beast - 315
    Belladamma Volga - Amaranthine Orb - 200
VLoZD - Hunter's Snare, Amulet of Destiny, Amethystine Pinions - 435
    40 Deadwalker Zombies - 230
    20 Deadwalker Zombies - 115
    10 Dire Wolves - 135
    20 Grave Guard - Great Wight Blades - 280
    20 Grave Guard - Great Wight Blades - 280
    Total - 1,990
    Grand Strategy: Hold the Line
    Triumph: Bloodthirsty
Battle Regiment 1: Radukar, Belladamma, Zombies, Dire Wolves
Battle Regiment 2: VLoZD, Grave Guard

  2. Thanks! I had actually seen his list and it included a bunch of units I already like.

Another variation I'm actually considering is something like this:

    Hagg Nar:
Slaughter Queen on Cauldron (General) - 330
    Hag Queen - 90
    Hag Queen - 90
    30 Sisters - Bucklers - 300
    30 Witches - Paired Knives - 300
    10 Witches - Bucklers - 120
    20 Blood Sisters - 480
    3 Scourgerunners - 150
    10 Shadow Warriors - 110
    Total - 1970

  3. I'd like to get thoughts on this list:

    Hagg Nar:
    Bloodwrack Shrine (General) - 220
Hag Queen on Cauldron - 300
    Hag Queen - 90
    20 Blood Sisters - 480
    30 Sisters - Bucklers - 300
    10 Witches - Paired Knives - 120
    5 Heartrenders - 90
    5 Heartrenders - 90
    3 Scourgerunners - 150
    3 Scourgerunners - 150
    Total - 1990

The list would be used for a variety of Pitched Battle missions. Typically, my group randomly rolls for a mission when we show up for a pick-up game.

I have considered whether I need the Medusa on a Shrine and the Heartrenders. I could drop the Shrine down to a Medusa on foot, lose the Heartrenders, and fit another Hag Queen and 20 Witches instead.

  4. I'm hoping to get advice on 1000-point lists, particularly for Adepticon-style doubles.

Right now, I'm debating between something like:

    • Dhom-hain
    • King
    • 9 Morsarr
    • 3 Ishlaen
    • 3 Ishlaen

    or

    • Fuethan
    • Tidecaster
    • 10 Thralls
    • 10 Thralls
    • 9 Morsarr
    • 3 Ishlaen (? I'm open to other options for 140 points. Perhaps a Soulscryer instead.)

    Thoughts? Thanks!

  5. I'm looking for feedback on this 2k list. It has worked well for me at 1500 minus the VLoZD , 10 Chainrasp, and Shackles. I'm primarily a Nighthaunt player that has expanded into playing Sacrament.

    Legion of Sacrament:
Vampire Lord on Zombie Dragon - 440
    Vampire Lord - 140
    Guardian of Souls - 140
    Spirit Torment - 120
    Necromancer - 110
    40 Chainrasp - 280
    40 Chainrasp - 280
    5 Dire Wolves - 60
    30 Grimghast - 360
    Soulsnare Shackles - 20
    Total - 1950, +1 CP

Actually both apply because the Fins and tails are weapons. Natural weapons but still weapons. Command Abilities work on both riders and mounts as stated in FAQ. So yes you get all the bonus attacks.

    Which FAQ?

  7. Mount questions because I've found conflicting answers via Google and am not sure where I'd start to dig through the rules to find this answer.

    For the Akhelian King:
    1) Does Akhelian Paragon apply to mount attacks? It says "re-roll hit rolls of 1 for friendly Akhelian units while they are wholly within 12" of this model." A similar rule would be "Drench with Hate" on the Aspect of the Storm.

    2) Does the Lord of Tides Command Ability apply to mount attacks? It reads "Add 1 to the Attacks characteristic of melee weapons used by that unit until your next hero phease." The eel's attacks are listed under melee weapons, but I wanted to check whether they should benefit from +1 attack as well or not.

I assume both rules do apply to the mounts, but wanted to double check. If not, would you please cite where this is indicated? Thanks!

For 1k, drop the torment and 30 rasps and take 30 grims instead, less drops, same number of bodies and better damage output. The VL will heal consistently better than the torment as well.

I only own 30 Grimghast Reapers in total. :P

Another option I like is this:

    Guardian of Souls - 140
    Spirit Torment - 120
    40 Chainrasp - 280
    30 Grimghast - 360
    5 Bladegheists - 90
    Total - 990

  9. I have a ton of Wanderers sprues laying around and am wondering what you all would recommend gluing first and what you'd add:

    • 3 Waywatcher Lords
    • 1 Waystrider
    • 1 Wayfinder
    • 1 Spellweaver
    • 1 Spellsinger (an older model I intend to use as a second Spellweaver)
    • 60 Glade Guard
    • 50 Eternal Guard / Wildwood Rangers
    • 20 Wild Riders / Sisters of the Thorn

I definitely intend to purchase a Nomad Prince. I don't own any Sisters of the Watch.

I'm thinking about gluing the 50 Eternal Guard / Ranger sprues as 30 EG and 20 Rangers. I'm not sure I even intend to assemble the Wild Riders or Sisters of the Thorn right now, as I'm not really impressed by either profile.

I'm thinking of running something like this at 2000:

    • Nomad Prince
    • Spellweaver
    • 2x30 Glade Guard
    • 30 Eternal Guard
    • 2x10 Wildwood Rangers
    • Total - 1390

As you can see, this still leaves a ton of points. Should I consider adding Sisters of the Watch? Or perhaps there are other Allies I could really benefit from? Thanks in advance!

  10. Are Deepkin really considered that bad outside of the High Tide round? I'm building an Akhelian list and only play casually. It still seems to me like Kings, Eels, and Eidolons will do work on any turn they charge., even without the luxury of everything going first.
