So I have decided I want to add a lord of blights to my army but to keep the rat feel I am going to kitbash it with a rat ogre. I will post pics when I get him in.

maybe they wanted to give us skaven players, a reason to use spiteclaw (who costs 50p more than the normal warlord) or the warlord on brood horror.
Although it could also just be Gw laziness, not caring if there are any other models (which already happened at the beginning of aos 2.0).
I would agree if it was just the brood horror. I feel like the spiteclaw move was intentional. Just wished they would have renamed it so it was more apparent.

Also warlord on the brood horror doesn't have it either, which is odd since all the abilities have the same name

So instead of the verminking, why not a warpseer. His command ability would have been fun just summoning in giant rats all over.

Not saying it's the best, but I like Aqshy for Ignax Scales in particular. They work very well to increase the survivability of the Arch-Warlock in particular. Throw him on a balewind and he's tougher to shift than one might think, all the while he can throw out 2 spells a turn.

jokes aside, your lists looks interesting although you don’t really have any punch (besides Ratchaon a bit) in your list.
Since you seem to be going the more verminus approach, I’d just exchange Ratchaon for a unit of 30-40Stormvermins, which will kill-slay anything buffed by a warlord and a Warbringer Verminlord, and for some weapon teams (or heroes like a grey seer or plague priests).
Lol nvm it doesnt work. I was hoping to just spam attacks but ratachaon does it in the hero phase. Womp womp

So I am getting a great deal on a warlord riding a brood horror. I haven't seen a list with one yet. Is it any good?

Honestly I would be happy if they made skaven a keyword and allowed clan rats as battleline across all clans

As for a more fun approach, while beeing still competitive, I’d just go with mixed.
list I’ve build mostly consist of at least 120clanrats. Stormfiends with shockgauntlets buffed by 2-3packmasters. Stormvermins etc. A more horde approach.

ps: another list i did use on a tournament was playing around with 320clanrats 1skaven warlord and 2plague priest.
the good thing about such an army is that you’ll always hold the objective, next to that you’ll be denying enough place for deepstrike or a game chancing charge from flying army’s like the deepkins.
the reason why I only played it ones at such an event was, the struggle of moving every model, inch by inch.
Also you mostly don’t have enough time to finish the forth round.
Lets talk about this middle list idea with clan rats stormvermin and stormfiends. Sounds spectacular!
