Hey guys, sorry if it has been answered already, but I´m going to play a Depraved Drove battallion with my Slaanesh Demons, and I´m facing some insecureness about the use of magic lore for my Great Bray-Shaman. As far as I interpret the FAQ and designer commentary, the BOC gain both allegiances (BOC and Slaanesh), so in my understanding, the shaman uses a spell from the lore of twisted wilds, sicne ther HOS battletome has only lores for daemons and mortals.

    I wrote my list with battlescribe and didn´t get any failures, but Azyr didn´t let me choose a spell for the shaman (But we all know how well Azyr works sometimes...).

    So, it seems, I don´t know what´s the right way, and since GW just did an update on BOC and HOS, there will be some time until the next.

  3. Hey guys, to expand my Slaanesh demons (atm 500 points), I´m thinking about adding a daemon prince (Additional to more seekers and daemonettes). I´d like to make the prince a princess. I guess the lower half fits okay, and I´d do some bewbs from green stuff, I´m looking for some ideas to add a female head. I searched through a big bunch of GW´s models, but haven´t found a fitting head. Has anyone an idea for an affordable head?
    I also checked some third party models, but I´d rather keep it mostly GW based.

    It’s still very powerful but if you want to charge the Soul Cage victim with 3 units you just need to make sure you get another couple of charges off elsewhere. 

     

    I guess when you deepstrike some units around it (9" distance) and you´re lucky enough to roll a 10+ for the charge, you´ll cause some serious mayhem. But for this, the target unit needs to be seperated from the other enemy models.

    Yes, im aware of this, but nontheless, you attack two times (1 after the charge on normal attack profile, and regulary in your combat phase, but this time with additional +1 attack per modell), and this will give the other player a really hard time with ~100 attacks. That was what I meant.

  6. I´m thinking of a little conversion, since I´d like to add Doomfire Warlocks to my roster, but want an all female army. My idea is to use the DW horses, but as riders I´d take Sisters of the Thorne, and use some bits from the Witch Aelves. In addition, I thought that the old drakespawns would be nice as mounts for them (as long as it´s okay for my opponent to have drakespawn with horse rules on the table).

    For now, this is just an idea, but I´ll want to do this in the near future. I´ll keep you updatet.

    I played him as the Chainguard batallion, which allows to add d6 modells additionally to Spectral Lure.

    I also played 2 Torments + GOS +2x 20 CR (Chainguard). You could clearly see the desperation in my opponents face. to hit on 3+, reroll to hit 1s and also reroll to wound 1s. Also the ability to bring back up to 12 modells via Spectral Lure is such a pleasure to play.
    Buff the CR with the mKOS´ +1 attack and roll a 10+ charge and you´ll get a special place in hell.

    today I had my second match with Nighthaunt, and first with 2000 points. We played the triumph & treachery battleplan and my opponents werde Beastclaw Raiders and Stormcast Eternals.

    I played following army list:

    Besides some rather stupid mistakes at deepstriking and charging, the list played out pretty well. Arkhan managed to kill the BR general with his curse of ages in the first round and got me my first victory points from my secret objective. The Stormcast player with his 3 Ballistas was quite frustrating, and he got the win with 27 VP, opposide to my 25. Last but not least the Beastclaw player only got 11 VP, so I´m pretty happy with the outcome of the match.
    My biggest problem so far is to keep an eye on all the buffs, proccs and synergies of the Nighthaunt. Sometimes I forgot that I can reroll to wound rolls and such things, but I guess this will get better the more I play.
