Got my first game with the new book coming up on Friday. 
 

Wanting to give Archaon a runout as well as my Maticore Lord.  Doesn’t feel like I have much of an Army, but as it will be at Warhammer World, I can’t run my non-GW marauders. 
 

Any thoughts?

Finished building my Marauders earlier today. They are just Vikings. 

 

I have 5 tiers within my Chaos:

Marauders - basic Humans

Cultist - starting down the road

Warriors/Knights

Heros & Varanguard

Archaon

 

Thats how i explain why they are a bit smaller.

For me, it’s more about the look of the Warbands. Spire Tyrants look most like the Darkoath, hence me wanting them. Love the Darkoath look.

 

My Manticore Lord is Galrauch ridden by the Warqueen.

I hear you on the Marauders. My ‘Marauders’ will be a box of Vikings I got ages ago. Then supplemented with my Darkoath, Godsworn Hunt and when they come the Spire Tyrannts. I have 35 warriors already, with one new start collecting box ordered. 😂

I'm hoping fo a bit of a boost to the Manticore too, Galrauch will be my model of choice, ridden by a Darkoath Warqueen. 

Work is progressing slowly, but getting there!

Do you see it? Well, in general when GW announces a book and shows off some armies, you can concider Units in the Picture to be in the Tome. Last occurence that confirmed this was Gutbusters, with Firebellies beeing shown only in the far background and with no mention until the late previews came

If I remember correctly, during the seminar it was mentioned that the new Lord will be undivided and only be able to be taken in god-specific battletomes (e.g. Diciples of Tzeentch) as an ally.

Hopefully this means Undivided will be an option.
