Are all the spites one unit?  I'd personally have 2 units of 5 and a 3rd unit that can go from 15-20.

Only other thing would be a 2nd unit of 3 sword hunters.

Maybe Ylthari's Guardians if you wanted to be completionist, but they aren't that good right now.

Oh i totally forgot Ylthari's Guardians in my list, I built them last week.:D

Right now i have 2 units of 5 spites built and another 5 are still in the sprue

  2. Okay,

including the models from the Looncurse box, I currently have:

    • 2 Branchwyches
    • 2 Branchwraiths
    • 3 Treelords / Tree Ancient / Durthu (magnetised weapon arm)
    • 1 Durthu
    • 1 Alarielle
    • 1 Arch Revenant
    • 1 Drycha
    • 52 Dryads
    • 10 Tree Revenants
    • 15 Spite Revenants
    • 3 Hunters with Bows
    • 3 Hunters with Swords
    • 6 Hunters with Scythes
    • 3 "old" Wyldwoods

And with the release I have ordered the following:

    • 3 "new" Wyldwoods
    • Sylvaneth Endless Spells

Are there any heroes or units you would recommend me to get more from?

  3. Hey guys i need some advice what to build with the 10 revenants and 3 hunters from the looncurse box.

I have already 5 spite and 5 tree revenants as well as 9 hunters ( 3 bows, 3 swords and 3 scythes) built and painted.

I'm also thinking about building the arch revenant without the beetle on his back. Maybe I'll put the beetle on a separate branch onto archis base? Does someone already did such or a similar conversion?

  4. Hey there, i want to order some foam trays for the sylvaneth. Therefore it would be great, if someone can measure the heights of Kurnoth Hunters with swords and the Tree-Revenant with banner. Im still waiting for mine to be shipped....

There were several tweaks for warscroll changes. Azyros and Celestant Prime,  as well as Fulminators/Tempestors, Neave, Lord Ordinator, Prosecutors,  and Paladins (starsoul mace change). Possibly more, that's just off the top of my head.

    oh okey, thank you ;)

  6. Thank you :)

On Saturday i played my first game with the list i posted here (Also first game in AoS2 and with Sylvaneth) . We both made many mistakes and forgot about half of our abilites, but all in all it was a very funny and enjoyable game.

A question came up while were playing:  Am i allowed to teleport my Treelord Ancient with the Moonstone while he´s stucked in closecombat? Does this count as retreat?  The same question appears to me with the Navigate Realmroots and the ability of the Tree Revenants ...

How do you guys transport your sylvaneth, specially your Treelords, Alarielle and the Wyldwoods?

  7. @IndigoGirlsThank you :)

Well i bought a start collecting Box, a Unit of Tree Revenants and one citadel wood yesterday :D

So for my first 1000P game in AOS 2 tomorrow i need to combine sylvaneth with my old stormcast dudes.

    LEADERS
    Treelord Ancient (300)
    - General
    Branchwych (80)
    Lord-Celestant (100)
    - Allies
    UNITS
    10 x Dryads (100)
    5 x Tree-Revenants (80)
    5 x Liberators (100)
    -Warhammer & Shield
    - 1 x Grandhammers
    - Allies
    5 x Paladin Retributors (220)
    - 2 x Starsoul Maces
    - Allies

I have now idea which spells, command trait and artefact i should choose ? I think regrowth could be a good choice, but should i take it on both wizards or just maybe on the ancient? What do you think about the moonstone artefact?

  8. Hey there a friend and i want to start over again with the new edition of AOS. He has already some Idoneth Deepkin and the Nighthaunt Part of the new Box as well as a skaven army at home.

Currently i only have some Stormcast at home, but im bored of all this similar looking golden dudes. Also i had only a few games with them at the start of  the previous edition... So im searching a new army and think about starting with Sylvaneth, because i like their forest / nature theme and the models

What are the bigger advantages and drawbacks with the Sylvaneth in the second edition (I know the new edition is just a few days old, but maybe someone already tested them)? Do you guys think the army will be competitionable in the future?

The plan is to build a 1000 Points army for the beginning. What would you recommend me to bring / buy for a 1000Points army. How many Citadel Woods do i need for the beginning?

PS: Sorry for my bad English. Its not my native language and i only used it here and there...
