Just starting stormcast and I picked the WHW Knight-errant Questor, does anyone use him? Is he any good at all?

With FW giving the big ol' FU to anyone outside of the UK this conversion is now more appealing.

I guess chucking rocks is kinda cool in his realm, maybe like the kid whose calmly trying to skip rocks at the beach but in game he failed to accomplish anything. Even with the points drop and 30" unbind I would still rather just have a Great Bray-Shaman. I would apply that logic to Slaanesh as well. The Jabberslythe is better when it comes to allying in a Monster of Chaos.
There was a guy who took the Cygor kit and made an Exalted. The pictures are blurry and there was a fair bit of green stuff involved but why not just do that? The original KoS had a bull head, two sword arms and two fists. That way you kinda get both in the deal and you can decide through your own play testing which suits you better
thanks for the advice, i did want the cygor to be a project so im happy to do some green stuffing, great idea!

true but i don't want to pay £100 odd for it, i kinda like the look of the Cygor too

One if my club mates ran 2 in his brayherd list but they don't seem to do a lot. The unbind is nice but with no modifiers it's hard to stop spells consistently. The shooting attack only hits on 4s so you can't rely on it and they are really bad in combat. Saying that they are lovely looking models
It was his that made me wanna get one, thought it could plug up a weakness in my list

Fully agree i think the Soul Snare Shackles are a better alternative, rather than buffing your move you restrict them which i think combined with the Geminids could cause alot of trouble for the opponent

Thanks guys ill probably remove the herald and add a sorcerer on manticore, i love the masque for the move reduction and all the rerolls so i cant get rid of her lol
