  1. Tournaments and events, maybe, but I think Popisdead is probably correct. I played the same 2k list 3 times and the third game got through 5 turns in 3 hours and I am a casual gamer that talks too much.

For my local group we are starting up a narrative campaign event, the organizer settled on 1500pts so we could get two 2.5hr games in per meeting. It is a casual thing, but I think doable.

Hello everybody, what kind of sylvaneth wildwoods are you using (new or old kits)?

How are you transporting them? seems like a lot of space to transport 3-4 forests, especially the new ones?

I have 4 of the old sized ones wyldwoods. I have them in a second tub, so army in one tub wyldwoods in the other. Magnetized the trees and have magnetic vinyl bottom of the tub. Can't speak about the new ones, haven't gotten any yet, but it is a bit more to bring than some other armies.

    How do people use branchwraiths?
I imagine they would just sit in or behind the first free wyldwood and pump out dryads?
Wouldn't she be pretty protected being essentially out of sight to most things.

So as long as you screen her from alpha charges, she should be pretty safe shouldn't she?

Generally pretty much exactly that. In the woods she can't usually be shot. I will often screen with spite revenants to prevent charges. She survives most games for me.

  4. I definitely use both GW and non-GW minis. Sometimes because of price, usually because of liking the model. For my gloomspite gits I have 12 rockgut troggoths (Mantic KoW trolls), the price equivalent would be like 4.5 GW trolls. Not the best Mantic models, but I have never had an opponent not know what they were representing. I don't play at GW stores or in big tournaments. I do play small local FLGS tournaments occasionally though and it is never a problem.

An additional bonus is I also play KoW, so painted minis can go between both rulesets.

For those that travel and Fly with their army i have a question. How do you plan to transport your trees on a plane? I have a pack GO and can get the army to fit in it but i cant figure out how to transport the new tree on a plane. Anyone have any suggestions or tips. If not i dont think ill beable to fly with them and will have to pick up an easier to transport army

I have a large hardcase from battlefoam that I check. I don't like trying to bring tons of stuff into the cabin with me. It gets tossed around, but if packed correctly, no more breaks than when I go to my normal flgs games by car. If trying to avoid checked bags, no idea as those things are pretty big.

That extra attack on the bow might make them worth using in AOS.

Hope the Revenants get an upgrade too. Currently have 10 I never use.

I have wanted the bows to work as artillery is nice to have, but they haven't consistently performed. The extra attack would probably bring their consistency up a decent bit.

Revenants are just so soft. I love the teleporting ability for many of the battleplans, but they are so easy to get rid of.

Ummm maybe i'm wrong but Kurnoth Hunters already have 2 attacks on their bows? At least according to the war scroll app.

On the community site you can see the warscroll well enough in the photo to see the weapon profile. War scroll app I assume will be updated when the box ships.

Anyways, I for one am super stoked, coincidentally these are the only two factions I play. Can always use more squigs and kurnoth hunters.
