    Which Farstriders list is this? I've been trying to build a hybrid list, and can't work out which cards you're referring to here.

  2. I think Shardgale is a trap choice for Orcs - their Inspiration does not improve their defensive stats at all, and you've now put all your models in much easier one-hit range. I'd much rather take Inspiration Strikes and use it on whichever of Gurzag/Bonekutta isn't inspired.

  3. Is it me, or is Ephemeral Shield a better defensive ploy than Daemonic Resilience, particularly for Ghartok and Zharkus? It puts everybody on a minimum of two defence dice - sure, you might still get hit for full damage, but you're much more likely to roll a successful defence and then trigger the reaction attack.

    Similarly, Invisible Walls looks way better than Bloodslick Ground - the latter is only superior if you're playing against Undead/Dwarves, otherwise max movement 1 is much more of a penalty than -2.

    Surely the order is:

    • Attacked by opponent
    • Opponent kills model
    • Reaction allows you to make an attack

    You never get to the push step because you don't push dead models - they are removed instantly. So range doesn't matter.
