    Thank you for the compliments! It's my first fully painted army, so this is a real push to paint the next one. 

    I went with Taurox tracks for mine which work pretty well!

  4. I personally think the cities book is pretty awesome, lots of variety and lots of good lists can be made IMO.

    I can see it taking a while to settle as you can get overwhelmed with the sheer amount of options you can go for.

    Personally I feel the way forward probably is still keeping most of your army one race, and then using the rest to fill in various gaps.

    Also, as a stormcast player it seems like they have been hugely overlooked so far, with a lot of useful units that can add to the book

    Without it, a lucky roll and you could have annoying problems. Anyway, they let you shot at 30" in hero phase or at 24"?

    I choose to shoot 24 in the hero phase

    Do you remember how turn 5 played out? Did you win priority?

    Either way, thanks for the info, and congrats again on the finish!

    Lost priority so needed ti kill one shadow warrior to win the major which I failed to do so it was 21-21 in the end, got the minor win

    Thanks man - it was a tough tournament! I actually won vs cities (we did a quick turn 5 after the stream finished) and lost game 4 to a Seraphon list with 21 terradons in it, not much I could do unfortunately.

    Game 1 v cities - minor win on total commitment

    Game 2 v blades of Khorne - major win on scorched earth

    Game 3 v Shootcast - major win on 3 places of arcane power

    game 4 v seraphon - lost on total conquest

    game 5 v seraphon - won on battle for the pass

    Found the list very strong, but against heavy horde like a bit under. I thought to move into desolators + castellant and drop evo + heraldor and 1 incantor. Where did you loss?

     

    I have two dispels and can kill any wizards that may cause me issues in turn 1/2 with the crossbows.

    I lost vs 21 terrodons, horrible list!

    Change one dice roll 'per phase' so changing two 5s into 6s's usually giving an extra 4 mws a turn if shooting twice. It makes a big difference!

    Jump around, shoot stuff and charge the evocators up the middle usually.

    The command points are key, if you can get close to a Commanding terrain piece for a turn or two you're in business

    Quuick question, I've never played an Anvil List. Tell me if I'm wrong, but because of how it's worded, Longstrikes do not benefit fro +6" range at the hero phase, right ?

    I'm going to play a 1250 poitns game : 9 Longstrikes, 2 aetherwings, 2x5man liberators and don't know yet for the heroes. I'll try to learn what is it that makes this list the ultimate SCE list.

    I wouldn't say so, I play 24 inch range hero phase, 30 shooting phase.

    It's very murky though, you could argue various ways of reading it.

    All I can say is this list isn't one to take if you're after sports votes! Highlights included:

    Killing fully buffed Archaon in the first turn

    Tabling a 21 eel list

    Two Mawchrushas in two turns
