  1. Hello! I would like to know if it is possible to (easily) obtain 5 wrathmongers + 5 skullreapers from only 1 box of wrathmongers. I have not seen any nice YouTube video explaining this or making an unboxing so I would like to know if some of you have ever tried this. Maybe using the bodies of 5 bloodwarriors (those from the AoS big box)? Thank you
  2. Hi there I'm new to these forums so apologies if this has been answered previously or has been placed in the wrong area. I'm looking at building a Khorne Bloodbound army list using Skullcrushers as the basis of a Brass Stampede warscroll battalion. However, I wanted to ask the best/most effective way to include another type of unit in order to bolster the Skullcrushers' weaknesses, and also to make the army a little more interesting to paint. 7 units of juggernaut cavalry might become fairly stale, I'm not sure. Any recommendations are welcome, along with a suggestion for a good general to compliment this list. Thanks for your time. Jak.

    An army of Wrathmongers?

I'm the world's least competitive player but I've been thinking of upping my game and my thoughts have turned to unusual army builds that might have an unexpected competitive edge. It seems to me from what I've read/seen/heard that Wrathmongers can be absolutely devastating, but that competitive players have learned how to deal with them (shoot, avoid) and they're no longer seen as a must-have unit. When people take them it now seems to be in small numbers to buff other units, with no expectation that they will have a major impact in and of themselves. But what about an army composed almost entirely of Wrathmongers? Wouldn't that be a devastating force? Yes, they would die fairly easily and many of them might not even make it into combat, but the ones that do could generate a huge amount of self-inflicted damage against the opposing army. I'm thinking mutually-assured destruction. I imagine you'd need to have a few cheap battleline units hanging back to claim objectives, plus a Might Lord and a Bloodstoker to help them get into combat, and the obligatory Bloodsecrator. Could this work?
  4. Hello Fellas, i was hoping you would help me clear up an issue that came up in last nights game, We were playing a game of Triumph and Treachery, I was playing Stormcast and my opponent was playing Khone. I Brought a Lord Celestant on stardrake and i started Crushing his stuff, anyhow The Stardrake used his Cavernous Jaws: After this model piles in, but before it attacks, pick an enemy model within 3" and roll a dice. If the result is greater than that model’s Wounds characteristic, it is swallowed whole and slain. You can do this as many times as shown on the damage table above. on a Unit of Wrathmonger and ate 2 of them. My question is, What abilities is he entitled to use from the stardrake.? Is he entitled to use both Cavernous jaws and Sweeping tail? or Neither,? Sweeping Tail: After this model has made all of its attacks in the combat phase, roll a dice for each enemy unit within 3". If the result is less than the number of models in the unit, it suffers D3 mortal wounds. valid aswell? I couldent be bothered to argue it out at the time but iam interested in your opnion.
  5. I'm working on updating my old Hordes of Chaos armies piece by piece, and I'm currently working on Blood bound. I've just bought a box of reapers/mongers and I'm wondering what to build them as from a gaming perspective. The rest of my list is mostly footslogging with warriors, Blood warriors, bloodletters, reavers and a whole bunch of characters (one of each for AoS, plus all the older metals), but there's some knights and flesh hounds in there too. Which version would make the best addition from a synergy point of view? Any advice gratefully received!
