  2. A better view of Keggers TwoButts’ two butts, and the stolen still that fills them.
  3. With the Aleguzzler Gargants once again walking with the Gloomspite Gitz, somebody needs to make the ale to guzzle. Keggers TwoButts, self-styled Gargant Master-Brewer, keeps the other gargants liquored up for the fight with rivers of Ale from his portable still. When asked where he got it, Keggers tells the story of rescuing the famed dwarf brewer-Master Jakkob Bugmansson from his crashed Sky-Frigate. The dwarf was so moved he gifted one of his stills to Keggers. When Bugmanson was asked about this he said his vessel was knocked out of the sky by a flung Boulder and an unknown Gargant kicked open the side of the crashed frigate and scarpered with everything in the hold. Whatever the truth, it can't be denied Keggers TwoButts makes a powerful and surprisingly tasty Ale.
  4. Khorngors Khorngors are those of the gor-kin who worship Khorne in all his ruthless glory, basking in the blood fueled power that this bestows upon those. Even though regular Beasts of Chaos look down upon those of their number that dedicate themselves to one Chaos God, Khorngors care not for their kin's opinions for they know they have the strength and ruthlessness to butcher any of their weaker kin. Khorngors pride themselves in the barbaric discipline they hold themselves up to, regularly cleaning and sharpening their weapons and armor to a suitably gruesome appearance, that way their weapons have the best possible chance of felling their foes in one swift strike. Move Save Bravery Wounds 6” 4+ 6 2 Melee Weapons Weapon Range Attacks To Hit To Wound Rend Damage Bloodaxe(s) 1” 4 4+ 4+ -1 1 Skullcleaver 2” 2 3+ 3+ -2 1 Missile Weapons Weapon Range Attacks To Hit To Wound Rend Damage Gorecleavers 8” 3 4+ 4+ -1 1 Description A unit of Khorngors has any number of models. The unit is armed with one of the following weapon options: a pair of Bloodaxes and Gorecleavers; or Bloodaxe, Butcher-shield, and Gorecleavers. 1 in every 10 models can replace the unit’s weapon option with a Skullcleaver. Bloodseeker 1 model in this unit can be a Bloodseeker. Add 1 to the Attacks characteristic of that model’s Bloodaxe(s). Icon Bearer 1 in every 10 models can be an Icon Bearer. Add 1 to the Bravery characteristic of this unit while it includes any Icon Bearers. Abilities Bloodaxes: There is little reprieve a foe can expect when up against a foe armed with twin bloodaxes. You can re-roll hit rolls of 1 for attacks made with a pair of Bloodaxes. Butcher-shields: The rune covered shields that the Khorngors arm themselves with are devastating weapons in their own right. If an unmodified save roll for an attack made with a melee weapon that targets a unit any models armed with a Bloodaxe and Butcher-shield is 6; the attacking unit suffers 1 mortal wound after all its attacks have been resolved. Skullcleavers: Any Khorngor armed with the great weapon known as a Skullcleaver can expect to gather many skulls for their bloody god. If any unit that includes any models with a Skullcleaver makes an attack with a hit roll of 6; then they automatically cause 1 mortal wound upon the defending unit instead of rolling to wound. Skull-Crazed: Khorngors are especially driven to reap the skulls of their foes to offer up to their patron. On a successful charge that this unit makes, then add 1 to wound and hit rolls. Keywords: Chaos, Mortal, Khorne, Bloodbound, Khorngor
  5. So just started to create my 3d Printed personalized sons of Behemat army Till know i have done the first of the mancrusher gargant, still need to print his weapon and various object to attach around his body but is mostly done: C&c welcomed ,hope you like them.
  6. I started this in the Destruction forum, but I have now started painting the war host. First, some fluff: From the depths of the Dracborough mountains, a new force was stirring in Hysh, the realm of light. These benighted orruks despised the light, having been forced from their home in Ulgu under the guidance of a trio of mysterious, deadly Fimir. In his travels, Balogog had gathered a ragtag band of followers, ogors, his savage kin, hulking orruks in heavy armour and heavier weapons, his own green-skinned tribe and even some grots, though they were wise enough to stay deep in the cave system or patrol the nearby mountains and passes for fear of being an ogors next meal. The Fimir had told Balogog of the fantastical Realm Gates, a way for him to return to Ulgu and exact his vengeance on those that drove them out. He was strong now, with a strong hoard of warriors eager for battle. Much did the Fimir say, twisting his mind with ideas of glory and vengeance. To reach the Realm Gate, he would have to cut a bloody swathe through Hysh, culminating in the taking of the Realm Gate far to the south. The time for action, had come... Ok, so I am not a great fluff writer, but hopefully as this project progresses it will be added to and refined and it will make more sense. I intend to make a combined Destruction force with elements from big factions (orruks, ogors, grots and maybe a gargant (do have one...)) and basically tell the story of Balogog. I plan to have a few versions of Balogog depending on the scenario. I have the Orruk Warboss on Boar, I would like to use the Ironjawz Megaboss sometimes and so on. As they are a ragtag force and on the move, I am also trying to convert them with weapons from each kit (so my Savage Orruks have normal Orruk or Ironjawz weapons here and there, things like that). The Fimir are also key to this story, so they will turn up in most battle reports as I build this force up. They are great models too, although I screwed up when I built them so may have to do some conversion work to make them actually go together properly... Anyway, here are some starter shots. First up is the test model, front and rear: Next are the first five savage orruks. I have recently completed the standard bearer and am on to number 7: If you got this far, thanks very much! In my collection so far I have: Savage Warboss - Edit: name Ughaag (Oog Harg), painted Wardokk (name undetermined) Edit: name Glurgob, painted 20 Savage Orruks - Edit: 20 painted, 10 more would help. Balogog on Boar: Edit: painted as well. Warboss standard bearer: Edit - got converted with the large axe version and to be an Ard Boy 10 Orruk Arrow Boyz - Edit: there are 20 now... Edit Edit (is that a thing???): 20 painted with warpaint to be counts as Savage Arrer Boyz 5 10 Orruk Boarboyz - Edit: all painted too... Warchanter - Edit: name Shagrbash, painted 10 Hard Boyz- Edit: 10 painted, 5 in undercoat. need 15 more to get the bonuses... Edit Edit: So there are now 30 all up, 10 Orruk Boyz with some kitbashing, and 5 Orruk Nobz from 40K with some useful swaps 5 Brutes - Edit: 5 painted, but someone added 5 more to the collection... 3 Gruntas - Edit: painted, need 6 more I think... 3 Fimir - Edit: painted 1 Gargant - painted decidedly chaotic at the moment, but I suppose that doesn't matter 1 Chariot - painted, can't ever be used but hey, looks cool. would be fun to convert it to carry a shaman and make it a Maniak Weirdnob... To add to the pile I think I want: 1 Ogor leader of some description 6 Leadbelchers 1 or 2 Ironlaunchers 10 Grot Wolf riders 1 Grot Shaman More Arrow Boyz More Savage Orruks Oh, and who doesn't love the Mawkrusha... - Edit: see later, the big boy is done...
  7. So a friend of mine and I decided to try to make a warscroll for Smaug in AoS because, well.... BIG DRAGON. (and the model looks awesome) so here is the warscroll, we were thinking 700 pts. any suggestions? balanced or needs work? smaug-the-magnificent.pdf

  12. Hey all, I decided to switch to Destruction as my main faction when COVID hit, so I figured i'd need a place to put up the photos of what I've done, mainly to stop me from carpet bombing the club chat with every small bit of progress I'll start with my latest army, my Ironjawz. I converted 30 Ardboyz from Blood Bowl orcs with savage orruk weapons and headswaps from Brutes, 40k and Savage Orruks so they matched the Brutes and Savage Orruks better (for when I run Big Waaagh). They were converted slowly as a break in between painting Savage Orruks, but I managed to get 30 Ardboyz, 15 Brutes, 3 Warchanters, Mawkrusha and a Megaboss on foot painted in 2 months which is not something I usually do The Battle Tortoise has taken a load of time to get finished, but I'm well chuffed with it. I've got 6 Goregruntas in the works based on Dragon Ogor bodies and Hydra heads, Blood Bowl Black Orcs as riders. My aim for March is to get these finished but I'm in a bit of a hobby lull this month.
  13. So i've edited this from a purely Wolves of Ghur PLOG (although i strayed from that quite early on) into a PLOG for all of my various AOS armies and related projects past and present and I want to keep this first post as contents section with links to the various armies: Wolves of Ghur (Khorne Bloodbound) - Pages 1 -3 (ongoing) Duardin - Page 1 (complete) Sylvaneth Page 2 (complete) Beastmen (Brayherd, Warherd, Daemons, Monsters of Chaos) Page 3 (complete...for now) Ogors and Gargants Page 3 (complete)
  14. Hi all! I recently finished an orc blood bowl team commission for a mate (including some brute players) and liked the models and colour scheme so much I decided to start an Ironjawz army! With all the excitement building for AoS2, I thought it would be a perfect time to start mustering the waaagh! So far, I have a megaboss and the start collecting box and think I'll just let the force grow organically, no real grand plan as such. I really want to take my time on this army, make some characterful little conversions and do a nice paint job. I recently got 2nd best army for my Stormcast at SCGT2018 and would love to be able to take something totally different next year. So to get the ball rolling, I've started on a couple of characters. First of all,my megaboss, Hogga. I really love the model, but felt I wanted to add a bit more height to his profile. A megaboss has got to be seen by 'da ladz' right? I went for a boss pole - I still need to greenstuff bits to make the rope/chain banner supports fit and fill gaps. I'm not 100% on the head and left (his) shoulder decoration. The bloodletter skull is cool and all, but wonder if something else might help him stand out from the others - potentially a shield or helmet etc - thoughts appreciated! Anyone used different heads on their boss?
  15. We all have our favourite alliance/faction in AoS. I want to know why your favourite is better than everyone else’s. So what is your favourite and why is it the best.

So, I'm looking to expand my Ironjawz to a competitive 2k list but I'm not 100% convinced that a pure Ironjawz list would be efficient due to the lack of ability to inflict/resist mortal wounds and model count. The list I think will be most efficient is below. I chosen this to maximize speed and the characters unit buff abilities over the classic cabbage option you see out there. Leaders Orruk Megaboss (140) Battle Brew & Ravager Orruk Megaboss (140) Gem of Seeing Orruk Warchanter (80) Orruk Warchanter (80) Orruk Warchanter (80) Orruk Weirdnob Shaman (120) Battleline 20 x Orruk ‘Ardboys (360) 10 x Orruk-forged Big Choppa’s & 9 x Orruk-forged Choppas & Smashas 10 x Orruk ‘Ardboys (180) 9 x Orruk-forged Choppas & Smashas 10 x Orruk Brutes (360) Boss Klaw & Brute Smasha, 2 x Gore-Choppas, 5 x Jagged Gore-Hacka’s & 2 x Two Brute Choppas 10 x Orruk Brutes (360) Boss Klaw & Brute Smasha, 2 x Gore-Choppas, 5 x Jagged Gore-Hacka’s & 2 x Two Brute Choppas 5 x Orruk Brutes (180) 3 x Two Brute Choppas, Boss Klaw & Brute Smasha & 1 x Gore-Choppas Battalion Ironfist (60) Input would be great. Clearly it lacks shooting & numbers but as I don't have experience in playing 2k games I am unsure if this is such a disadvantage considering the units damage output...

Age of Sigmar started out simple enough. But the first General's Handbook changed a lot of things. Suddenly you could personalise a few things for your army with command traits for your general and artefacts for your heroes. Then dropped the first battletomes which included allegiance abilities. And the amount grew rapidly. Because I don't like flipping back and forth in my books for every other ability, I created some cards to help keep the important rules right at the table, beside your models. All cards are available as print files with 3mm bleed and cutting marks, as a 'web' version (for viewing on smartphones/tablets), US letter and DIN A4 printing sheet. each set contains: cover / card backside, Battle Traits, Command Traits, Artefacts, cards for spell lores and faction specific skills card size is 63 x 88 mm (same as Pokemon, Magic, 40k Datacards, etc.) language: English I tried to keep the original wording, but sometimes I had to abbreviate it to fit on the card without scaling down the font size. The rule intentions should still be clear. 'Dice' was continuously replaced with D3 or D6, 'wound roll' with 'To-Wound roll' (same for hit), 'Mortal Wounds' sometimes with 'MW' each set can be stored in a faction specific card box, with contents listed on the back (instructions) If you find any errors or have suggestions, please let me know. I had fun creating these cards and hope people will find them useful and have fun using them in their games. All rules, artwork and the Age of Sigmar logo © Games Workshop PLC These cards are for personal use only and you should always keep your General's Handbook and/or Battletome nearby to solve any conflicts from bad wording on the cards. These cards are only a playing aid and never could nor should replace an official publication. Please let me know if I have used anything you would like to be removed. Overview and changes
  18. Hey everyone, So a while ago I set up a blog on here to log my progress with my Beastclaw Raiders. With that army largely finished I've been on and off with some warcry and some 40k but with the sweet new Sons of Behemat model previews I've decided to jump back on the destruction train for starters, here are some pictures of my Aleguzzler gargant with a giants causeway themed base. I need to do a few highlights on the banners and shields, maybe I'll try some freehand. I've also got some more Mawtribes, Warclans, Rippa's Snarlfangs and even some Fimir on the way. Let me know what you think!

  20. Hello fellow hobbyists! I've been working on a Map-Campaign for our Local hobby shop. Since we're only about 5 Player's within a 100 km radius I figured it would be cool to offer members of this Forum to join in. The Campaign officially starts at the 31th of October 2019. Signing up for this campaign has no obligations; you can leave whenever you want and you don't have to play a single match. But if you play you help your Grand Alliance to conquer the southern reaches of chamon! Forge mighty heroes that grow to be conquerers and defenders that will be remembered through the ages to come! So get your Ossiarchs reaping and your Mawtribes eating! Link for the Sign Up: https://forms.gle/3cKvp8PyeMJwvauT9 The Rules: Campaign Ruleset.pdf The Map (will be decorating a wall in our local hobby shop). complete package with rules and a downlaodable High-Rest-Map: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1pGwkgMjIszNEZu7vVB0ioNU1VgDVNp2- kind regards and happy wargaming, Jack
  21. The two latest releases for the Battletomes are here. I couldn't find a high resolution of the cover art, normally GW or the artist itself uploads it somewhere. Not this time, though I'll keep looking and will update once I'm able to find them, so it can match the Battletome cover 1:1 And as a note: I restructured the Hungy/Not hungry Battle Trait of the Mawtribes. Now it immediately tells you what condition 1 is and what bonus you get for this, then the same for condition 2 (instead of condition 1/condition 2, bonus for condition 1/bonus for condition 2)
  22. Hello Everyone, I'm starting a blog to document my workings on a Beastclaw Raiders Army. So far I have the start collecting box assembled as well as an Icebrow Hunter that I've kitbashed from spare parts. I'm currently waiting for paints to arrive so here are some WIP shots of the models. I felt that the models didn't quite line up with the lore so I sculpted fur cloaks/shawls on all of the riders, as well as a big leather bag for the Hunter to carry his gear in. Also, I'll add a few pictures of the Fimirach that I painted up for fun but that I'll end up using as Allies for the Raiders. And Finally, some Spiderfang Grots from an older army that I built repurposed as Swamp goblins for my Fimir. C+C's are always greatly appreciated! Bores

  24. Good morning all, I thought it was time I got a thread together to gather all my thoughts and progress on my Ironjawz army (perhaps branching into Destruction in a broader sense). I will be including modelling, painting, army lists, battle reports etc etc, I didn't want to do it as a separate blog or anything as I like the idea of keeping it within this Destruction sub forum (which for my money is the best part of the forum at the moment - some great chat, really enthusing me for this army). Hopefully @Ben and the Moderators are cool with this decision. As well as this thread, you will also be able to hear about my exploits on my podcast - The Black Sun. You can find all the most recent episode on this forum, or check out iTunes or www.theblacksun.co.uk - It's not family friendly like most of the other podcasts out there, but is entertaining I like to think. Also I am reasonably active on Twitter, and usually like to post photos of most my games etc. Follow me @the_black_sun I do actually have armies for all 4 of the Grand Alliances in AoS and whilst I am working on all of them simultaneously in various ways, I've definitely noticed my focus begin to increasingly shift towards Destruction. Disclaimer - when the Dark Aelves are released in whatever guise they may be, I am likely to abandon ship and spend all my time in the Order sub forum, being that they are my true Warhammer love, but for now, I'm all about the Ironjawz! I've always been a fan of Orks in Warhammer 40,000 but have never actually played Orcs & Goblins in WFB. So whilst the detractors and troggoths bemoaned the pseudo 40K look of the Ironjawz, I think for me this aesthetic really drew me in and got me going green. So I have already actually played a bunch of games with Ironjawz, having gone "all in", as they say, on the release, but these were all at 100 SCGT points and included a Magma Dragon just to make up the points (oh, and its pretty good!). I figured with the impending release of the General's Handbook, now was a perfect time to draw a line under what's gone so far and start afresh with the new system. We won't get into all the recent allegiance nonsense, you can read about that in other threads. Suffice to say, the Battleline "unlocks" for Ironjawz and the Destruction traits and artefacts make for a pretty nice combination. I'm not saying Ironjawz are going to be out there winning events (certainly not with me using them, if my abysmal results at Call to War are anything to go by!) but I am hoping and somewhat confident they can be competitive...and we have a pretty extensive thread on that right here in this forum! So this is pretty much just an introductory post for now. I have already painted some models (not as many as I would've liked); Megaboss Krunk, who can be found in the gallery and 5 Brutes. I will take some better photos and add them to this thread as soon as possible. I am reasonably happy with the level of the paint jobs and whilst not my best work, believe the army will look nice upon the table. I've intentionally kept the basing quite plain, though I am consider scraping off some areas and adding the flavour of the month; Agrellan Earth, just to add some interest. Using my 40K Ork bitz box I have been able to customise my models and this combined with some reposing has allowed me to make all 20 Brutes so far individual. Just a bit of a shame I got my Gore-gruntas after the Brutes as mixing in their Jagged-Hackas would've been super cool. Considering another 10 Brutes just for this purpose. This weekend (Thursday night to Sunday) I am attending Bossfest, a camping, drinking, gaming extravaganza. Whilst there will be various games being played, I am hopeful of getting in a good few games with Da Black Sunz, which will be the only AoS army I'll be taking. These will be my first games under the General's Handbook and will be played to 2,000 points using the Matched Played Battleplans. Many people in attendance will be practising for my 1 day event, Rain of Stars, which is removing the army restrictions and adding a sideboard (as the event is two weeks after the book drops), so we will also allow that over this weekend, therefore some of the armies I play may not be exactly true to the book. However, this should allow for some solid competition and really stress test the army. The list I use personally will be General's Handbook legal though. For now, my pool of Ironjawz models is; Maw-krusha (happy to use as Gordrakk or Megaboss), Megaboss, Warchanter, Shaman, 20 Brutes, 10 Ardboyz, 3 Gore-gruntas. I am not adverse to buying more though! 2 more boxes of Gore-gruntas are definitely happening after assembling some this past weekend - amazing models. It's worth pointing out that aesthetics are definitely a consideration to me in this army. Here is the list(s) I am currently considering for the weekend; Da Black Sunz - 2,000 points Gordrakk - 700 Megaboss - 140 Warchanter - 80 Weirdnob Shaman - 120 10 Brutes with Jagged Hackas - 360 5 Brutes with Choppas - 180 5 Brutes with Choppas - 180 10 Ardboyz - 180 Ironfist - 60 Total - 2,000 points Nice to hit the 2,000 points dead on really! That seems a challenge in of itself under General's Handbook. The main change I am considering is dropping Gordrakk for a baby Cabbage. The 180 point difference is nice as it allows another battleline unit - in this case Gore-gruntas (mostly just to get all my models on the table). If I wanna keep the big man in there, I can also include the Gore-gruntas by dropping 5 Brutes. What do people think on this? Seems small to me! I'll leave it there for now. This afternoon I'll add my thoughts on Command Traits and Artefacts! Thanks for reading, Chris
  25. After Bolet Ghosteater parted ways with the Rotmoons he continued his search for potent mushrooms in the gloomy forests of the Harrowmark. On his travels through the dark and tangled woods he started to encounter more and more Moonclan Grots with similar goals. Most of them came along with him as he seemed to know what he was doing. Before he knew it he had a warband of his own. They started calling themselves the Mushloonz and he just went along with it. - 🍄 - The Bad Moon spoke to me! Inevitably.... This is the start of my small (maybe!) Moonclan warband. I got the Warhammer Underworlds: Nighvault Moonclan warband when they first came out and I have been painting them very slowly between other projects since then. The Gloomspite Gitz announcements spurred me on to get them finished! Bolet Ghosteater was already painted during Malign Portents but I have repainted his base-edge and his skin to match Zarbag's Gitz. Zarbag the Shaman Drizgit the armoured Squig Herder, Bonekrakka (the one with the bone between its teeth) and Gobbaluk, Cave Squigs. Prog Da Netter and Snirk Sourtongue the Fanatic Shootas Stikkit (arrow through hood), RedKap (mushroom hat) and Dibbz (shooting “blind”) - 🍄 - Viktor has very kindly given me 6 Moonclan Shootas (from the "Battle for Skull Pass" Warhammer Fantasy 7th edition starter box set). Update: I have already assembled (with a few small additions of stalagmites and mushrooms on their bases), undercoated black and zenithal-sprayed them grey. I hope to start painting them very soon! I found this git in my bits box, with no face. So I added a 40k Grot face and sculpted his hood around it.
