Hi there, I prefer the Hardback Editions of the Battletome, but I don't really get behind Games Workshops Strategy on publishing Battletomes as Hardbacks, Softbacks or both. My general impression is: When a new Battletome is published, it is pbulished as Hardback and Softback or Hardback only. Then after a while, Games Workshops stop selling (and probably reprinting) the Hardback Editions of the Battletome and only sells the Softback Edition. Although some Battletomes seem to be available als Hardbacks forever (Seraphon and Fyreslayers). Now I have two questions: Is that true? Have all Battletomes previously been published as Hardbacks? (Read: Is there hope to get them via ebay?) Is that documented somewhere public, which Battletomes were published as Hard- or Softbacks? Thanks a lot!
So, last year we had 5 books for the realmgate wars campaign: might battles, quest for ghal maraz, balance of power, godbeasts and allgate. This year we are entenring april and not a world about a campaign. Will there be one at all?
Hi there My name is Luke and I work for Gloucester library. I am in the process of starting a kids warhammer club and I am asking for any help I can get. Our library doesn't have much funding for these sorts of things but I am hoping with enough effort we can get some. What I am asking for is the Warhammer communities' help. If anyone feels obliged or a tug of the heart strings I will happily accept old (useable paints), unwanted books (either universe), old models that need the love of new modellers and painters. I will accept anything really (within reason). I have already received the Warhammer Schools alliance set from GW which is awesome and has a few paints to get started with Stormcast. But Order isn't for everyone. Any help will do. Gloucester Library, Brunswick Road, GL1 1HT
Hey guys, on the thread I started about Nurgle army composition, it turns out that there are some different wordings between what's written in Grand Alliance Chaos and what's on the Plaguebearer warscroll in the app. I imagine that the Plaguebearers are not the only instance of this. As of right now I'm using the app exclusively as my FLGS works to get me a copy of the GAC book. My question is: which wording do we use? It sounds to me like the wording in GAC is actually much better for me, but @James McPherson was suggesting that the Plaguebearer warscroll as it appears on my app may be out of date. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it, and it's all up to date. Who has the final word on which ruleset we use? Is this another thing that we should be discussing before play begins? Thanks for you help everyone!
