    Ludic Incoming Milano is happy to announce that on, the weekend of the 19th – 20th of October 2019 the very first edition of “Winter Incoming” will be hosted, a gaming event dedicated to the promotion of organized play in the city of Milan! Our first Weekend Warlords will take place during this occasion, a two day - single player, Age of Sigmar Tournament. The event will be endorsed by the “Champions of Age of Sigmar”, Lega C.A.O.S. and will be sanctioned by their Official Info pack wich will be available soon. TOURNAMENT INFORMATION · Format Structure: Age of Sigmar 2000 points. The event will follow the official info pack, the missions and scenarios will be selected randomly the last days preceding the start of the event and after the closing of Lists Submission. · Rounds Structure: 5 Matches with the maximum round time being 2 hours 30 minutes. 3 Games will be played on Saturday 19 and 2 will be played on Sunday 20. · Realms of Battle: Will be selected randomly and announced two weeks before the list submission closure. · Participation Fee: 25 EUR.   3. Hi everyone! I have a question for all the warhammer pros out there and those who have been around since fantasy. Where could I get the Chaos Dragon/Galrauch?! It is a necessity in my Slaves to Darkness 2k and 2.5k army and would appreciate it if you could tell me where this dragon is hiding! (One, dragons can’t hide from me forever, not that I am a good seeker but they are huge and can’t hide, and two, don’t tell me eBay, I know they exist in other places.)

  5. So I'm looking for a build that is mostly competative in the 2k bracket, but I'm a little limited on models I have and not in the opportunity to get loads to set up a compltly different list. If in 1 unit my second has to be the Decimators (wysiwig models, this is also for the 1 per 5 starsoul mace) If done in 2 units I have the option to complement the list with 2 Tempestors, but that will be another drop and I'm not sure if the unit will be sucha good asset on it's own.   7. Hello everybody, I'm interested if it is worth buying into a squig oriented and moonclat allegience army? Is a squig focused list viable? Does anyone have experience in this? Do you have any ideas for possible squig army lists after GHB2017? Is it better to go for the normal cave squigs or the squig hoppers? The choices for the Lord on Manticore basically make enemies around him have -4 bravery. Chaos Warrior w/ Greatblade Sayl bomb + MoK w/ Bloodsecrator. I made the Lord on Manticore general to make sure the bomb goes off smoothly but am considering giving it to the Lord on Daemonic Mount to buff the Chaos Knight charge. Marauder Horsemen will be for chaff and objective taking. Thanks in advance!

  12. Hey guys! Had an interesting game against the faeries yesterday. As the title belies, it didn't go well for me. The list I used is as follows: Warboss on Wyvern - 240 - Might is Right - Battered Talisman - Choppa & Shield Savage Warboss - 120 - Battle Brew Arachnarok - 280 - Catchweb Spidershrine Huskard on Thundertusk - 380 - Blood Vulture 20 Savage Orruks - 240 10 Savage Orruks - 120 10 Orruks - 90 30 Savage Arrowboys - 360 Kunnin Ruk - 160 My deployment went well, I had resolved before the game that I would kill either the Treelord or the Spirit of Durthu on turn 1, and I had the chance. I deployed the 30 savage archers and the huskard right in front of his Treelord. 2 things went wrong though. The huskard botched is 2+ roll (I'm the only one in the world that can botch a 2+ roll at crunch time) that would have scored an automatic 6 mortal wounds. Also, I stupidly forgot that kunnin ruk requires the boss to be within 10" of the unit that is taking the double action. I deployed him on the other side of the table behind a wall for protection. My mistake. The savage archers put about 4 wounds on him. It was a failed mission. Granted if I would have got that 2+ in the game would have changed drastically. On the right hand front my 20 savage orruks went to capture an objective on his side and proceeded to melt his first unit of dryads. About 5 survived. I had the big stabba attack nearby kurnoth hunters and killed 1. 10 savage orruks captured an objective on my side, 10 regular orruks got the other on my side, 20 savages captured one of his. 4-1 for me first turn. His turn comes, kurnoth hunters and another unit of dryads come in along with a tree revenant ambush and charge the 20 savages on the right hand front. They kill a bunch of them. Branchwych comes in with in insane spells and further decimates them. On the left hand front the huskard gets 6 wounds on him via kurnoth, durthu spells, and treelord. He gets the second back to back turn, kills the 20 man savage orruks and the huskard. Treelord and kurnoth hunters on the left front charge 30 arrowboyz and begin the slaughter. I got kind of pissed off at this point and called it. Sure the arachnarok and wyvern hadn't seen combat yet, but even if I pushed the right hand front with them, they wouldn't be able to take out all of his kurnoth hunters, the 2 treelords and everything else. I'm trying really hard not to whine about the Sylvaneth, but for God's sake every unit has like 20 special rules. The treelord is borderline unkillable. with his 3+ save and healing. Their magic is absurd with dwellers below and 4 spells per turn thanks to the battalion bonus. They have healing spells and resurrection spells. I feel like unless everything was executed perfectly, there was no way to win. I did ****** up on the left hand front with Kunnin Ruk and on the right hand front with not getting my monsters into battle. Also the 2+ failed Huskard ability was infuriating. I don't know. Regardless amazing looking table and good game with great friends. That's the most important part I guess. Any ideas on what to do next time, minus don't be dumb re: kunnin ruk and keeping your monsters hidden? Is my list flawed or did I just have bad luck?

    Hello there internet. i've brewed a Stormcast list aimed for a tournament using the new Generals handbook. Most of the list is salvage from my old list which did fairly well in the meta against skyfires etc. The biggest change to the list is the Allies, which is.. well Skinks. as many as i could fit in. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the list. if there is any glaring mistakes or weaknesses. and in general your thoughts. Open to all Comments. you can be as Honest as you'd like. Dracothian guard and Stardrake will melt away to mortal wounds caused by it. . Otherwise it should have great staying power. and mobility.
  14. Hi again. I am a bit over the 40k hype and remembered I have a SCE army to build. At the moment I have: 15 liberators 6 prossecutors 5 retributies 1 lord celestant 1 lord castelant 1 lord reluctor For 2k I want er to build the following. Battalion: Hammerstrike force. Leaders: Lord celestant - general, gunning strategist (loving at least the prossecutors 5" forward, so I get a more effective hammerstrike force Alpha strike) Lord castelant (hugging the liberators) Lord relictor - spellshield, *need advice on the prayer* Knight azyros (supporting prossecutors) BATTLELINE 10 liberators - 2 grandhammers, hammer & shields 5 liberators - 1 grandhammer, hammer & shields 5 judicators, shockboltbow, bows 5 judicators, shockboltbow, bows OTHER UNITS 10 protectors - 2 starsoulmaces 5 retributors - 2 starsoulmaces 6 prossecutors - grandhammer, grandblade, paired jammer 3 prossecutors - trident & javelins. The battleplan is to hurl the projectors at the big nasties and the rest come slogging on foto. Maybe I should make 1 big liberators unit and take lichting chariot on the relictor. Also I get to pick an extra Magic item but I am not sure which one. Advice?
  15. Hey all, I'm attending a tournament in August that I'm building a mixed death army towards. I'm a long time collector but pretty new AOS player and haven't taken part in any tournaments as of yet - not even played a game with death yet but mostly this is due to busyness and blood bowl Anyone interested in the army can check out my painting thread here: So, just after some thoughts on which command ability would suit my general and which items might benefit the army (and who to give them to!) Not looking to change the units or characters which I realise might not be the most competitive, but would love to get the most out of them so I don't get totally curb stomped! My 2k list is: VLOZD - Guessing he's the best choice for the general? Was thinking Red Fury as he might fly off out of range to make ruler of the night useful? Necromancer Wight King with infernal standard 40xSkeletons with spears 10x Skeletons with blades 10x Skeletons with blades 5 Black Knights 10 Graveguard with Great Wight Blades 6x Spirit Hosts Legion of Death 240 Summoning Points (to summon morghasts or Cairn Wraiths/Banshees/maybe more spirits?) I'm quite liking the look of sword of unholy power to auto summon morghast harbingers but unsure who is best to carry it? VLOZD might be too much of a target, necromancer too squishy? Not sure on my second item so would appreciate any thoughts on this and any strategies/tips that would help me out when I play them for the first time next week in a practice game Thanks guys!

    Imps at War is a 2,000 pts AoS tournament hosted in Lincoln at Imps gaming Welcome to Imps at War 6th May 2017 Contents Army Building Rules Schedule Scoring Location Army Building Armies to be from the same grand alliance. Armies to follow the Battlehost restrictions. Summoning points to be declared and included in your 2,000 points list. Command traits and Artefacts are set for the duration of the tournament. Rules Each mission will be rolled for on the day, not repeating missions. Measurements are made from base to base. No ability can affect the initiative roll (inc. Kairos Fateweaver; Coven Throne). A roll of 6 to hit / wound always succeeds – however abilities which would require a 7 do not activate. E.g. A Crypt Horror does more damage if its wound roll is 6. It usually requires a 3 to wound. It is at a -4 advantage to its wound rolls. It rolls a 6 – this roll wounds, but does not cause more damage than usual. Any unit which cannot be hit, wounded or targeted cannot hold an objective. Spell effects which persist or those given from a spell or ability with the same name cannot stack – however the same effect given by spells or abilities with different names can. Mystical terrain test must be taken at the start of the Hero phase – before any other abilities are used. Schedule We will have 3 x 2 hour games played throughout the day with a 45 minute lunch at 12.15 Please arrive punctually as to not hold up the tournament, if for any reason you are running late please contact the store to let us know so we can plan accordingly. 10.00 - 10.15 - Registration and game 1 prep 10.15 - 12.15 - Game 1 12.15 - 13.00 - Lunch 13.15 - 13.30 - Game 2 prep 13.30 - 15.30 - Game 2 15.30 - 15.45 - Game 3 prep 15.45 - 17.45 - Game 3 17.45 - 18.00 - Results and presentation We will give you a 30 minute warning then at 15 minutes left ask you to make this turn your last. Large gaming hall which can hold upto 20 6x4 gaming tables in the hall. We heat the hall, On cold days it recommended to wrap up warm with an extra layer. Hello People of the Internet, finally got a hold of the new stormcast book and ive been dying to use the new Stormhost Battallions, Celestial vindicator's Warrior Chamber ( god that's a long word) in particular strikes me as being good. I could use any Input and experience with it. Here's what ive got so far. Including Fulminators and the Celestant Himself, The Celestant will position himself so he can buff Either the Protectors or the Fulminators, or Both ! in that very furtunate circumstance ofc. He is tanky, should be able to survive atleast a few rounds. Hopefully. Pros, The army is resistent to shooting, It should be very "killy" on the charge Great Alpha strike potentiel. Cons, Weak vs Magic. Failing Charges means you get a lot less out of your units The Prosecutors are High Priority targets, Killing them disables the Hammerstrike. Thought's? - Thor
  20. So I thought it'd be interesting to poll two final list candidates for the next event I am going to! I like the idea of both of these lists for different reasons and think they'll each do a bit better against various kinds of lists. They are not super hard or perfectly sculpted but given the models at hand I think they are decent options. Vote for your own favourite choice! And feel free to leave feedback. Suggested tweaks to each list are welcome (for example I am undecided on 5 decimators v 5 more retributors in list 1 and am not sure about the gryph hound in list 1) but I am pretty satisfied with each!   22. Hey Everyone First time posting a list up. I'm a Sylvaneth Player, built up a solid list out of them and doing quite well. Now it's time to start up a new army (Still working on bits and pieces of Sylvaneth). However just wanted to get another style of army going. So i thought i start a Death army around the Terrorghiest as it's one my favorite behemoth models in GW range. So here is my list, i wrote this list around My Sylvaneth list, a list where my own army would crumble and probably loose against. especially double turn 2. I have been following this forum for a little while and Haven't seen anyone run a list that i'm building so i'm curious to get some feedback (Also link me to threads that are similar builds). This list is also build around all 6 CURRENT scenarios in the GHB i understand we may get new scenarios in 2.0, but i find this will be a good all rounder. Why do I think this can crumble my sylvaneth list or similar lists? Due to the Flayers piling in in the hero phase even after being regenerated and gaining some extra attacks of the GK, Units like Kurnoth Hunters will grumble as they can't re-roll saves as it's only for the Combat Phase. The Chances of high mortal wound output is good. Also Everything here flys so moving over terrain to score objectives is fine and having two of my favourite models on the table looking similar to the battline will just aesthetically please me. The Courtiers both bringing models back is helpful so the chances of a unit loosing 2 models before hand and get them back and pile in, i find to good to be true. I understand high rend is an issue in this list however with the death save + death save buff and terrorgheist healing due to the GK i find it quite durable theoretically. Just wanting peoples thoughts? Should i look at using different artefacts? Should i try and make all the flayers 6 man unit? I'm not use to the standard artefacts choice you get in the GHB compared to Sylvaneths wide range. Ps. I don't like the look of Crypt Horrors and Ghouls. Unless i convert them up to look cool. Also the GK on a Terrorghiest is tempting however i find him and the way he stands he ruins the aesthetic of the model also for 400 points i would most likely lose a hero which means for three places of power I will struggle.
  23. Greetings, I was hoping for some feedback in preparation for a small 20 person tournament @ the end of November. I am turning to the Destruction GA after building a Sylvaneth army and not really "feeling" the army. I am not sure what it is, I think I find the wyldwood aspect irritating. At Any Rate, I have started building some IronJawz and done some test paint schemes. I think I am going to go with the yellow style as they just pop when viewed from above. I think this may have been another problem with the Sylvaneth for me, so much brown and green they were really drab on the table. I have purchased 4 Boxes of Brutes and a start collecting box. I think I will eventually have a mix of everything but with another small purchase I can throw out a 2k list pretty easily and start training for the event in November. Would this list be a decent one to learn the capabilities of an IronJawz Army? I understand that a lot of people do not like the Shaman or Gruntas. I don't really care about winning but want to field something that feels like it has a chance to compete. That said, I would be curious on the feedback for the following list, as well as recommendations for load-outs.
