Good day everyone, after about 2 ish years of absence from PtG our group has startet a new campaign. The fundamental idea and the fundamental rules are good. However we‘ve quickly encountered issues as listed below: Scenarios: Most are bad, they give one player an incredible advantage which results in crippling the enemy army in turn one. The objectives are very crude as well. Hero Advancements: While units can receive veteran abilities, heroes can not. Some armies possess upgrade tables for mounts, however, micro-factions like Idoneth don’t, since their small model range does not offer foot versions of mounted lords and heroes. Territories: Quite one-dimensional, some even broken (Skaven deepstriking within 7“) My intention is to have a constructive discussion, loaded with ideas, which hopefully will result in custom rules (like the awesome siege rules) pdfs for all of us.

Hi, First off, thanks for clicking an having a look at my question and if its in the wrong place on the forum, please let me know. Me and a friend have just began a path to glory campaign. I am looking for a little clarification on the core enhancements on our warlords. I'm skaven he's seraphon. I have an arch warlock and I think he was engine of the gods as a warlords (we have only played 1 battle). First game was 1000 points next game we are looking at 1500. We're building our lists in battlescribe. In both the videos below Ash and Doug just give their warlords a command trait and artefact, I cant see in the core book path to glory section why or how they give their warlord an artefact and command trait straight away? The command trait I'm assuming is either because it comes with their sub factions or because your warlord starts a campaign with 15 renown so it comes with the veteran ability mechanic but I tried to recreate their warlords in battlescribe and cant see the specific enhancements they gave them listed when I add the sub factions, so does that mean its from the veteran ability I mentioned? My understanding was for my own arch warlock, when I add him to my army list in battlescribe, if I 'do not' select any of the enhancements, then generate the pdf, the yellow highlighted sections (see the 2 screen grabs below) are his core enhancements ? . The same questions above basically apply to your heroes too. What can we/do we take as core enhancements? I ask these as if you give them too many enhancements straight away it removes some of the emphases on doing the quests to get more artefacts and command traits and at low point starting armies makes the warlords very powerful as they are already accessing most if not all of their extra "stuff" but for a possible long campaign, that could be many 10's of battles having to do lots of quests to get these and other things makes sense but a short, say 5 battle campaign, maybe you don't want to focus on these. Edit: Meant to also ask about mount traits. If ur character has a command trait and mount trait are the both treated as command traits when doing quests and exploring territories of to unlock them? Finally since a hero can only have 1 command trait does that mean you would have to choose between the mount and command trait? I just want to get these elements correct as intended by the rules and at the same time get it clear in my head, why and how? Any input is very welcome.

The new edition of AoS has gotten me excited to start a Path to Glory campaign. Though we won't know the full rules until we get the rulebook in our hands, Doug from the Youtube channel 2+Tough has made some videos that go through the basics (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyIEtHBf1vpI-xYU-epSdmFSKIw6afx96). I was wondering if there are other people here planning to start PtG campaigns, what do you think is good about it, what needs improving and what kind of army and lore are you planning to start with?

Hey FEC-Players out there, first of all my English is not that good and I hope you wont be angry if I do some mistakes ;) I am new to this Forum and I wanted to Report about our Path to Glory Campaign starting next Week. Therefore I started my new Army: The Flesh-eater Courts. We are four guys starting the Campaign with following armys: Blades of Khorne, Gloomspite Gitz, Beasts of Chaos (or) Stormcast Eternals and me with FEC. Now i want to optimize my starting list with the your Help. My first thought was something like that: 1 Abhorrant Archregent 1 Crypt Infernal Courtier 3 Crypt Flayers With that list I got some serious output for the first game and the Archregent Spell for the Campaign. I try to send a Battlereport for every Battle made. :) Thanks for your Help

untilSix linked but separate narrative events across all 4 days of the convention, a doubles team tournament on Friday, and a 5-round GT Saturday-Sunday. Also a KidsHammer event featuring paint & play and a friendly tournament for young players aged 10-15. http://www.novaopen.com/age-of-sigmar/ "Since the release of the General's Handbook and more, Age of Sigmar is taking the gaming world by storm. Last year's event rapidly sold out at nearly triple its 2015 size, and we expect a similar increase this year. Based on conversations with the GW Community Team members attending NOVA this year and feedback from other conventions, we're increasing the size cap of our GT to 100 and planning awesome terrain, tables, and more accordingly! Furthermore, we still have the awesome Sigmar Narrative event that laced through the weekend last year, enhanced further by the passionate development and brainstorming of our fantastic Age of Sigmar leads. We fully expect these events to sell out once again, so make sure you take time to study the primers and event schedules, and be ready to register on Feb 1!"
