Also known as "Asbestress' mediocre Cities army project thread made solely to motivate her to actually finish something" LORE Greywater Fastness. The industrial heart of Sigmar's Empire. A smoke-wreathed city stretching from horizon to horizon. Amidst the Era of the Beast, it's expansion continues apace, while the tenuous peace made with the sylvaneth of Dreadwood strains ever closer to it's breaking point. On the One Road, a new Dawbringer Crusade sets out, eager to found a new canton which, eventually, will be subsumed by the city itself. I have some more stuff in terms of lore, but that will have to come with time. Parts of the army Not content on settling for one army to collect, this army will be made up of three different "sub-forces" 32nd Greywater Expeditionary Force Making up the bulk of the army (and the minis currently done), the Expeditionary Force consists of the Freeguild, Ironweld, Dispossessed and other forces of the Fastness. From Handgunners to Steam Tanks, almost all can be found here. (Mainly Greywater coloured minis) Canton Devoted Coming from the canton of Grimmshallow, the Canton Devoted are the religious arm of the Crusade. Ranging from Sigmarite Warrior Priests and their Flagellant throngs to the ill-trusted priests of Alarielle, the priests of many gods of Order can be found amongst them. (Darker purples and golds/Greywater colours) Azyrite Inspectorate Growing weary of the unstable situation in the Ghoul Mere, the 32nd Expeditionary Force is being accompanied by a cadre of Celestial Battlemages from Azyrheim, sent by the Lords of the Heavenfall themselves. Their duty is the ensure the peace is kept between the sylvaneth and the Crusade. Each Wing of the Expeditionary Force is accompanied by at least one Mage and their Celestial Hurricanum, who are themselves followed by contingents of Azyrheim Greatswords and, where deemed worthy, even Stormcast Eternals. Fearing the Great Plan has become imperiled by the same dire situation in the area, the Inspectorate has been joined by several skinks of an unknown Starhost. Their current leader, a Skink Priest known only by the title of "Restorer of Harmony", has been rumoured to have been behind the death of several industrial magnates and even members of the Council of the Forge. (Mainly "Azyrite colours", rich cyans and purples, with golden accents for Cities units, and "galaxy" style patterns on purple with cyan accents for Seraphon) STATE OF THE ARMY Right now I only have a few units and characters painted (see below), but I'm hoping to finish off my backlog (another Steam Tank, a Runelord, a Helstorm/Helblaster and a Xintil War-magi box), and complete my dream of a 3 Steam Tank squadron, and probably add some new Seraphon and a SC Greywater Fastness before the range refresh arrives (probably around mid-late Fall), so that I can actually begin getting some infantry and start building an actually sensible list. As always, C&C is appreciated! P.S.: Apologies for the bad photography, I aim to improve as this thread continues 😛 Currently complete minis

Animosity III is brewing behind the scenes: it will be set in the Prime Dominion, in Haixiah - the hinterlands of Hysh. So I've been thinking a lot about making a Hysh board with the Shrine Luminor (when its released) and some artificial bonsai trees. I have a vague plan to cut the rocky island in half horizontally, ground the top half as a "normal" building (i.e. not a floating island building!) and flip the bottom half to use it as a rocky "mountain". I am also looking for the ruins from Teclis' base to use on the bases of two or three fake plastic bonsai trees. The paint recipe, on the back of the Teclis box, for the ruins is apparently a Karak Stone basecoat, with Spacewolf Grey Contrast Paint over the top, then a highlight with Karak Stone and lighter greys. I like the blueish tint so I will be going for that look too. +++ This will all have to be acquired and done before the summer, so I want to keep the number of pieces of scenery quite low. I've ordered three fake bonsai trees from Ikea and part of Teclis's base ruins. I'm keeping an eye out for more ruins at a price I can afford. ~~~ After giving up on the idea of using artificial bonsai trees (the affordable ones look really cheap and nasty in real life) I managed to get hold of some of the old (and sadly out of production) Citadel Woods. With a bit of careful branch-removal and assembling the leaves "wrong" I have been able to reproduce the Hysh trees that the GW studio team made for the Lumineth promo photos. I have saved all the removed branches to make smaller trees! The Shrine Luminor is on pre-order this weekend, so the next stage of my Haixiah board can begin soon! I also built a third tree and tried to take some step-by-steps during the build. 1. Lay out a circle of big leaves. 2. Glue on more over the joins. 3. Glue smaller ones over the top. 4. When dry, flip and attach the tree by gluing leaves against it underneath Three trees (and a little shrub):

Hey everyone So, here we are at the end of 2020, it's been a crazy ride. As the year comes to an end I've started to think about how I want my hobby to look like in 2021, and a big part of that is definitely homebrew lore writing. When I first started getting into Warhammer I started with Seraphon, just so natural given my love for dinosaurs and mesoamerican culture, morphing the two together is just genius to me. However, time marches on my interest in a select few factions has happened, the Lumineth being the main one (Deepkin and new Slaanesh being the other two) and with that means I get to do more homebrew! With the release of the Lumineth and their battle-cattle the door has been open on so many conversion/kitbashes, and that's where this blog comes into play I love Minotaurs, but I dont like that isn't a a non chaos-aligned games workshops interpretation of them, so taking matters into my own unofficial hands, I have created my own Minotaur race for AOS. This minotaur race resides in Hysh and is not chaos aligned and does have shakey relations with the Lumineth, in particular the Syar. This blog is hopefully a launching point to possibly turning my homebrew into an unofficial battletome for myself. Any tips anyone has for battletome creating would be awesome! As i'm not a great artist, nor have money to hire an artist, most of the pictures for this will likely be either of my kitbashes or art that loosely represents what i have in my head (sourcing the artist when able or using those with a watermark). I'm going to reserve the first few comment sections to fill in, and add to/edit as i go and as I receive more feedback. I hope you enjoy this as much as i have and continue to love creating and building

Decided on in which realm your game is taking place? Pull out these cards and have everything ready: from realmscapes to spells, these cards have you covered instead of wasting your time looking up rules in the Core Book and in Malign Sorcery. All cards are available as print files with 3mm bleed and cutting marks, as a 'web' version (for viewing on smartphones/tablets), US letter and DIN A4 printing sheet. each set contains: cover / card backside, Realmscape rules, Command Abilities, Realmsphere Magic spells and additional rules for this realm card size is 63 x 88 mm (same as Pokemon, Magic, 40k Datacards, etc.) language: English I tried to keep the original wording, but sometimes I had to abbreviate it to fit on the card without scaling down the font size. The rule intentions should still be clear. 'Dice' was continuously replaced with D3 or D6, 'wound roll' with 'To-Wound roll' (same for hit), 'Mortal Wounds' sometimes with 'MW' each set can be stored in a faction specific card box, with contents listed on the back (instructions) If you find any errors or have suggestions, please let me know. I had fun creating these cards and hope people will find them useful and have fun using them in their games. All rules, artwork and the Age of Sigmar logo © Games Workshop PLC These cards are for personal use only and you should always keep your Core Book, General's Handbook , Battletome and Malign Sorcery nearby to solve any conflicts from bad wording on the cards. These cards are only a playing aid and never could nor should replace an official publication. Please let me know if I have used anything you would like to be removed. Overview and changes-
