Told ya it was a lightened reveal....unfortunately but understandably...
-
Sons are confirmed Destruction faction. I hoped them to be at least available for both destruction and chaos (eventually with some personalization/kitbash)
-
I'm not expecting anything big when the tittle says "heros, heretics and a squirrel"...

So, first, Sista syndrome: a bundle with 3 units and all paper and stuff, hard cover booketc....with the "according" price. OK, but ....next.

Did you notice that just watching your TV, there are way less ads? Nothing to sell imply nothing to invest in especially in the sales & marketing departments. GW is no different. Creating a hype now for something that is out of sales sight is unreasonable.
I wish that I am wrong but at the end of the day, covid-19 is the boss. Unfortunately.
Being in the hobby for more than 3 decades, I don't care much if I have to wait 1 or 2 months more. I'm back to gluing grey plastic 😉

Just over 24 hours now untill the next online Preview. God I hope we get a Sons of Behemat reveil or tease.
Unfortunatly, according to "inside GW contact", the reveals of tomorrow have been lightened due to change in the GW grand scheme (schedule). There will be some news to keep the major promises but not the biggest of the biggest as planed initially. Take care guys and enjoy your family time 😛

Hmm I play with a lot of players who don't play regularly or quite new. The idea of have rules in different places really puts me off.
That's the main comlain about the 40K mess with so many layers of rules from so many sources. I hope that AoS won't go this route and keep to the BT+GH rule. AoS is miles ahead in this concern.

Well, this new army is not ugly but, somewhere, I'm happy to be disappointed: my wallet will at last be able to breath. Maybe that , for me, no army will mean new toy: I'm thinking about the new resin 3D printers. A full set up (printer+UV+cleaning+resin....) is around 450€ which is a GW army budget... I have all the confinement time to think about it.

And she loves her Archaon 😅
Playing Archaon in a 1500 pts party is not good....for the other players. I advice not to include him in a less than 2k pts army.

"the cow level is a lie" 😛

probably him: (horus heresy FW)

After the warcry band, are we done yet for the amazing reveals?
-
The new warcry unit has some nice characters....to make some conversions: I'm thinking about wizzards or HQ for my StD and DoT armies.

I'm worrying if we have now the full range of lumineth miniatures. If yes, no war machine , no flying monsters, no heavy cavalry? Surprising (if not disapointing) is the least to say.

And we now know why the lumineth have a milky color shceme: giant war cows!

I've read that but tbh, I don't give a damn about a page that just says there will be an anime and more reveal in the future (more preview coming soon phhhhh).
More of this, the short video (interview / direct) wasn't even subtitled (for an hearing impaired like myself, it is not very informative...)

so, 15h02 and still nothing?

I think AoS rules bleed into 40k rules and both games have become very consistent in wording. The language is becoming more precise and "the same" across their own selves and even each other.
Consistent: yes, and that's about it. Efficient balanced and stable: only AoS. 40K is such a mess today...We are looking forward to seeing the 40k v9 (whatever its name is) to clean up all those rules in shitload of different books...

Is it me or Bel'akor daemon prince miniature (failcast) seems really tiny compared to a classic daemon prince (plastic)? Any picture for a comparison? I can't find one. I don't like that a nice char/hero badass is so little on the battlefield.

It is extremely annoying to be under the impression of reading some "filling" at the warhammer-community until the big reveal (in 2 days), especially during this not less annoying period of lockdown/confinement ...

In a furry? Really?
And that’s what’s she then does with the obelisk. Quite the quarantine you’re having 😂It seems that even my brain is in quarantine unable to spellcheck or write proper English 😉 (not native English btw)

Magnet underneath the table and in the Obelisk. Super awesome floaty terrain if you ever get the balance right.
mind you, nudge the table and the obelisk is launched like a javelin 😂
Or just hang it with a thin (pretty much invisible) nylon thread stuck to the ceiling (but here, wifey will enter in a fury and put the obelisk "somewhere" as a suppository.. 🥵 )

...except that in our poor mortal real world, they don't float at all over our tabletop battlefields (or maybe I didn't eat enough mushrooms 😛 )

In response to official guidance announced today in both the UK and US, we will be temporarily closing globally all of our stores, headquarters, factory and warehouses with immediate effect. Where possible, our staff will continue to work from home. Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our staff, their families and our customers.
As the situation develops, we will provide an update on the possible impact of these necessary actions on the Group's performance for the year to 31 May 2020 and going forward.
Don't expect touching something new in the upcoming weeks. I'm worrying about the GW reveals calendar: will they stick to it or will they dilute a bit the reveals so they can be sell the models later with the full reveal?... Back to the unopened boxes for me (and unassembled/unpainted grey plastic) . I have so many things to do already.
