  1. What do you think about our upcoming 2 new entries: the Fomoroid Crusher and Mindstealer Sphiranx? (ouside the fact that the miniatures are amazing of course 😉 )

  3. Rule question about gaunt summoner: is the free summoning (of pink horrors 😉 ) counting as a spell i.e. gives a Fate point?
  4. Back to destiny dice: Do I have to declare that I use one (or more) DD BEFORE rolling something or after seeing the dice rolls (and replace the failed ones by a DD)?
  5. I think that the GS is fine as it is now. Maybe a point adjustment in summer in GH. But I don't see it OP. For me, the cost is right (except if you spam him). 4 of him in a GS, give you close (or even more) to the 9 fate points to get a free LoC in addition to 4*10 pink (and thus 200+16 free wounds) T1. You still have 1000 points to spend for your core army. LOL. 6. Interesting changes tbh: they balance the battletome. But I am a bit disappointed that in a guild of summoners, you can't summon kairos. It wasn't OP. And kairos being a named character, you weren't able to have more than one on the battlefield anyway.
  7. Where does the spear come from? Also: Arhiman is the best all around easy fatemaster kitbask. It looks also extremly Tzeentchy and fit well in the tzaangor/acolyte army. And he also look like a boss.
  8. This is the main problem with kitbashing in AoS: because units have a fixed size, you can't pick one miniature out of a box. It costs you the full unit 😞
  9. Whatever you do, those armies are set to cost you around 350 to 500 eur. This is the GW business plan. Some are a bit more (or way more). Some are a bit less (and -rarely- way less). If you want a new army on sprue with a lower cost, the only way is big boxes (dual armies box, start collecting and battleforce). Even with that you fall into the 350/500€. But sometimes, it is worth it: my last example: karadron army: bough 3 aether war sold 3 DoT halves (cost= 153€), sold 2 enrrimaster with balloon and 2 gunhaulers (got back 105€) then bough 2 SC and a Ironclad (and the warband with khermist). Total cost 240€ for: 1 enrimaste balloon + 8 * 3 balloon guys + 3 gunhaulers + 10 thunderers + Ironclad + 2 enrimasters + warband with khermist. (I plan to sell 2*3 balloon guys to get for free the remaining HQ). (total is more than 2500pts) So, if you are not in a hurry, you can build armies at reasonable cost.
  10. That is the problem a a rich army: too many things to choose from lol. Don't glue the magister to its disc: magnet it. Thus, you have a magister that can me on foot or on disc: the foot one is used more frequently. (cheaper)
  11. Many things lead to this: 40K will have like AoS 2.0, just an updated/enhanced previous version, a realease to consolidate rules , tips and centralize informations. Most often called v8.5 (and not v9). The Current AoS, called 2.0 is closer to a AoS 1.5. Then, the next 18 month or so are dedicated to update all the codex like AoS did with battletomes. Of course, in the middle of all of that, we have some new things and even fresh armies.
  12. The demon prince is not that bad IRL with somany options, especially when you have plenty of bits from, for example, the spawns. And don't make yourself miss the StD range for this (bad) reason: there are so many nice kits in StD!
  13. Well, does that make them elligible to "look out sir" rule?
  14. StD and Tzeentch here (and skaven that have been zapped from this "all players of chaos "book). Same as you. Not particularly enthusiast except maybe for the varanguard thing and....that's it. For (half)fun (or half competitive), I hoped that we could eventually , for example, put a heavy hitter greater daemon in a tzentch army (which one? khorne one? or slanesh one?) just because I like the big guys but I don't want to start a new army. Same for StD to add those big minis. I'll wait until the full scope, but the hype has lowered a bit.
  15. Few tzeentch things revealed in the Everchoosen book. Nothing awesome atm... https://www.warhammer-community.com/2020/01/30/wrath-of-the-everchosen-14-awesome-armiesgw-homepage-post-4/
  16. I like: - the 4 big guys army for a fun party - the varanguard one, because I love varanguards The others, I dunno what to think...the Bel'akor one sounds weird to me (and kinda ugly on the table lol)
  17. Guys, you can open a thread about failcast whatever... and come back here to chat about rumors...
  18. HOPE: sons of behemat/gargants remain as the current gargant kit: available both for destruction and chaos FEAR : GW start to think and sh.......t happen.
  19. Let's not exagerate, AoS only exists for 4.5 years 😉 I hope that this book gives some opportunities to Nurgle and BoC. And to be honnest, if there are some cross over synergies between some chaos armies, I'm in! Maybe in the future we have some similar books for Destruction, death & order (well, CoS already kinda does this). I bet that the son of behemat will do something with destruction armies.
  20. Indeed, but it had already been a little nerfed with depravity cost increase in the latest FAQ (december). Tzeentch is nice but I think it need some clarifications and adjustments on (very) few points. This is a really good battletome as it doesn't copy/paste the usuals builds of other factions. More of this, it adds some crossing synergies with StD making a super rich tome with various range of minis from daemons to mortals and tzangors... I bet that it'll be even richer with the upcoming tome next week (everchoosen).
  21. I'm not waiting a nerf tbh: Im more likely to wait some clarifications and confirmations before investing some more bucks into miniatures that I don't want to be stuck on the shelves. 1) LoC summoning (can Kairos be summoned) & 2) pink horrors summoning + point cost. That's all for me. I like this new battletome full of resources and with synergies with StD. As a non competitive player, Changehost is just the cherry on a (already delicious) cake.
  22. Well, don't forget also that we look the miniatures from far IRL and they have their own look & impression on the battlefield. Maybe this one is nice on the table in the middle of an army (even if I'm not a big fan of it right now).
  23. It is almost my exact list posted few pages ago, except than I put kairos+gaunt at start in place of 2 gaunt, for only TWO reasons: - I'm waiting the errata/faq before investing in another 10pink/2blues/1gaunt (and I don't really like the horrors minis, prefering mostly the tzaangors) - I love the big bird: kairos. But if the FAQ tells (=read CONFIRM) us that it can be summoned via guild of summoners (can summona LORD of CHANGE units!!!), then maybe I'll go the 2 gaunt route. Not sure. I like the spawn summoning of magister and kairos when they kill units...
  24. Good catch in deed. But Kairos being a named character, be aware that you can only have one one the battlefield... That is interesting because If you start with a LoC (in place of kairos) you loose one spelll but you gain a nice CA and the possibility to put some relic & co on the LoC...I'll think about it.
  25. For its defense, to mortarchs are a triple kit FULLY SWITCHABLE without magnets! and the riders are dualkits fully switchable from NH to Skelletons (without magnets too). This is one of if not THE best SC out there (will buy a third one soon).
