  1. This new decor seems modulable. I'd be glad to see it compatible (look and feel) with AoS...
  2. 40 skellies is superb but a bit slow: my taste goes to 40 less but more archai
  3. Well, we have to see how it works but I have the feeling that with so many scenarii, it'll be hard not having some fast units... BTW, it is more than 6 shooty units...
  4. Well, as far as I can read here, there's a good chance that our SCE meta (or SCE efficient/not bad enough) list has switched abit, not to say is completely different... New units to buy then...
  5. Indeed, we don't have the full scope of NH yet. It can be buffed and healed. So, maybe a not so bad unit for a superb and beloved miniature.
  6. I was comparing the chaos mamouth war and the mourngul.... 320 vs 300 But 22 pv vs 10, same same and soooooo many more attaks for the mamouth. So, is this an error for the mamouth?
  7. NH battletome is pre order tomorrow and available next week: the new battletome will include the cairn and tomb banshee updated warscroll. So, I guess the online warscroll will be updated at/after this release date (07/07)
  8. What do you think about the new ballista, guys? I like the mini, I like it is a machine, but is there another ordinator than the named one?
  9. Can a ghoul king on TH be a allied to death and still summon terrors in a matched play game?
  10. This is not speculation. We already know things. And GW confirmed that it can be done this way. And that's good to know. BUT, I agree that if we want full optimisation, It is quite early to make conclusions.
  11. We don't need to know everything to imagine a speed army: all the units are there. The rest is just bonus to even increase the efficiency. Without the allegiances, we already have: - fast units and several relatively cheap. We have probably the best light cacalry of the game! - deadly yet resilient/summonable - seveal nice heros and synergies. I like movments. And it fits well with the lore of ghost army.
  12. I'm not is the horde camp atm for NH. I think that we can build a pretty fast moving army with many buffs and magic/summon. That is the way that I'd do my NH death faction. Hex (2 or 3 units, one maybe 2 hex units with the Mounted NoS.)+ Host+ Grimghast as a base. They hit hard. They move fast They fly. They are resilient and summonable. Banshe as snipers (or whatever, I just like the mini). I'll have to think about several heros: we are rich in this department.
  13. What do you think about Hexwraith and Spirit Hosts (and eventualy cairn and old banshee )compared to new NH? I think that they are pretty solid especially with the buffs from new char
  14. The 2 new mounted beast look a bit weird to me. After seeing all the superb sculpts of NH, it was a (slight) disapointment. So, most of the interesting units are in the starter box for me especially the ballista. But I must admit that I can't avoid buying the new heros: there was a big gap between the dracoh (and mounted heros) and the stardrake: those new heros fill the hole as intermediate heros/monster. That is for me one of the best point for them
  15. We know now all the NH range (but not all the warscrolls yet) http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2018/06/aos-putting-names-with-faces-complete-nighthaunt-unit-list-unveiled-models.html Long gone are the multi kit. I am disapointed that the 3 big heros are just one build and not multi build/multi kit as it uses to be (even the IK are multi kit)
  16. Spirit host are a pure nightmare to build. I lost half my hairs the last 2 days to build 6 of them, having glue all over my fingers, trying to figure out where the assembling spot were. Super annoying mounting. Once done, they look great thouh. (but don't look to close )
  17. do you think it'll be faster to airbrush them (rather than regular brushing them)?
  18. WOW that's what I'm talking about!!! This is really the best looking NH miniature. A must have for me and I don't care if it is weak on the front.
  19. I think that the very next will be: - NightHaunt - Stormcast - then, many speculation around greens, slany etc...
  20. as much as I can love the actual miniatures of mortarch and as much I love new miniatures My wallet is crying out loud that the new portarch of grief is one of the 3 already known mortarch....but it's afraid not.
  21. the safest bet is that GW need feedback on efficiency of the units on the battlefield because they can't test everything. But when it become evident that a unit is underpowered or overpowered, they will test deeper and yet adjust the points. That means that at least, they need 3 month then publish. My bet: sep/oct 2018
  22. Superb and...close to what I wanted to do ecxept that my SCE will probably look closer to this than my death army. But It inspired me for my new army. I've received my boxes just yestrdayt to build the entire army. I can see in the picture above 2 cemetaries and one antic ruins (with obelisks). Where are the other ruins come from? (mostly the buildings from center to right of the image)? Second question: could you please explain how you did the blue ghost effect? (what paint to use?) Is it aero brush or paintbrush?
