  1. Hey all, In the back of the pitcher battle profiles 2020 the last section covers points for legends, including (for order) the Organ Gun and Grudge thrower, dwarf warriors and thunderers - just wondering where do I find these warscrolls? Or are these the same ones in the big order book? Thanks
  2. Been wanted to use the old dwarf lord on a shield since AoS came out
  3. Just been looking at the new dwarfs pdf compendium - https://www.games-workshop.com/resources/PDF/AoS_Compendiums/warhammer-aos-dwarfs-en.pdf I think I prefer the older one, as these new warscrolls don't include the Dispossessed keyword, and there is no dwarf on shieldbearers (glad I downloaded the older one - warhammer-aos-dwarfs-en.pdf )
  4. I'd really like to see a duardin lord carried on a shield by two shieldbearers - that was always the classic image of dwarfs in battle for me, or just beer and dwarfs - so I guess a distant relative of Bugman who kept brewing the ale - would be awesome too.
  5. Evening all, I was looking at putting together some custom warscrolls for some classic dwarven units but updating them to use the Dispossessed keywords and some rules for use between myself and friends, for example; Warden King on Shieldbearers. I was wondering if anyone knew where there might be any downloadable resources - such as any Photoshop templates that would help, or ideas on the location of high res assets that I could use? I'll pulled the images out of normal warden king's PDF from the games workshop site, but they are only about 100 pixels per inch and not great quality (ideally 300 pixels per inch for printing). Any pointers to resources would be much appreciated *raises tankard of ale*
  6. This model: could be converted and painted like this image:
  7. greenstuff over the base and mark edges - found this vid:
  8. Zoomed into see the awesomeness of a Metal Top Hat !!! Then noticed ... is that two guns in his whiskers?? Guess if there were flamethrowers they'd be his 'side-burns'
  9. I think these are awesome, really liking the look - first thing that popped into my mind was a mixed dwarf army of fyreslayers, dispossessed and steampirates - this would be amazing to see. Now, I don't know if I'm over-reading this or just got it wrong, but on the announcement page: I though all the dispossessed were in Azyr? so who are these others that hid in the mountains - are these the originally named steamheads that was mentioned at AoS launch, the 'descendants of Grungni' - where's my Duardin Factiontome ??
  10. I'd say the platform / programming language would mainly be dictated by the skill sets of the developers who can volunteer their time for this project. I think we might be at a point where we want to put together a list of people who can give up sometime to help with this project and setup a slack or group to discuss the plan moving forward. Who's up for getting involved?
  11. I have the Scenery Dice and they are awesome - slightly oversized to easy to read so they don't get lost in amongst your other dice. Plus came with a handy little card detailing the 6 rules. I've used them in every game since getting them.
  12. Cool, I like what you've done, just wondering if we need to be aware of mobile devices and responsive design. Is it worth taking a step back and getting together some user stories/epics from Ben and other people to make sure the concept achieves everything it is meant to, setup a team of people who can help and work in an agile method? "A user story is a very high-level definition of a requirement, containing just enough information so that the developers can produce a reasonable estimate of the effort to implement it" http://www.romanpichler.com/blog/10-tips-writing-good-user-stories/ For example - do we expect people to register for the site before submitting a list - if so, what's the steps to register, are new users approved by an admin, what user details are captured, does the password need to follow any complexity polices, etc - and this is just for registering a user. Does anyone know of any good/free (and not complex) agile tools? I found this and created a board: https://tree.taiga.io/project/grimblaze-warhammeralst/kanban
  13. Hi all, I was away over the weekend, just wanted to see if there has been any further movement on this? Do we want to get a list of people together who are willing to help with this?
  14. Thinking I might create something, for fun, got a Warhammer domain name and hosting I'm not really using - it's a good project and a chance to play around / learn a few things - thinking: Angular frontend with .net backend sitting on a SQL db. Will put the code on GitHub so we can all play / contribute . Though away this weekend for my cousin's stag-do. So will have to start this up next week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
