    The scarabs look like they were sculpted in the late 90s. In that sense, they suit the rest of the old world aesthetic.

    Female wrathmonger in Godeaters Son made me think about starting khorne mortals. Until I realised it was just an absolute sausage party. Such a weird design choice.

    Good, now give us female bloodreavers, marauders, kairics and dwarves to mix in with existing units. All male units - all male armies - look weird af.

    My main concern is that they'll look at sales and deem it unprofitable, then effectively abandon it again. When the real reason sales are low is because they're trying to sell ugly, 30 year old kits for inflated prices.

    I think at this point, they may as well just make rules and lore and allow third party sellers at their events. They've spent five years effectively just producing a copy/paste rulebook, rather than using that time to refresh their miniature range. The tomb kings from Highland/Lost Sword are head and shoulders above these for a fraction of the cost.

    If it was any other company I'd agree, but knowing firsthand the weird corporate culture at GW HQ, I'm more inclined to believe these rumours.

    Makes me wonder if they're just going to stop making underworlds as a game. From what I gather, it doesn't have an especially large playerbase, and loads of the warbands aren't sold anymore.

    AoS - in its current iteration - is the best GW game I've ever played, and I've been closely involved in the hobby since 1993. AoS is fast, fun and full of cinematic moments. The miniatures are gorgeous and the armies are fairly well balanced. The community is warm and positive. Some people still have strong feelings about AoS, based on the negativity surrounding the end times, coupled with the lack of rules structure in AoS 1. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't think a lot of those people were around at the time. So perhaps their opinions are just inherited from the 'common wisdom' with very little critical thought involved. Regardless, how they see AoS doesn't impinge on my own enjoyment of the game. Honestly, it's not worth being drawn into arguments about it. Let them miss out on a great experience because of their ignorance.

    Initially I'd have said 100mm, but looking at it now there's a lot of empty space on there. Given his apparent size, could be a 130mm.

    Would love to be wrong, but I think if there was more in book iv we would have seen it in the preview, given that it's likely out in the next month.

    I think back in June when they started teasing dawnbringers through posters, they had one about the summer king. The art accompanying it was basically just a ghoul king on terrorgheist. I wonder if ushoran is basically just that, but much bigger.

    Fec new launch army box, battletome to follow next year with rest of range. Dawnbringers 4 with ushoran and morghast hero.

    Gotta say I hope we have mini centaur faction. Kraggy looks so out of place in almost every destruction army. Would love to see full units of dragon ogor-sized centaurs. Some with bows, some with spears. Centaurs riding centaurs etc.
