    Thanks for the response, plenty of food for thought in here. Im leaning toward Astral Templars with Ballistas/Ordinator, raptors with longstrike and large units of liberators plus an incantor and spread of heroes. As always theory hammering in my head probably wont work out as the final list once I start getting the practice in.

    Hi chaps, i come to you with cap in hand here. Im new to SCE and its pretty clear that new stuff is better than old but im just not that into the magic stuff and vanguard play style isnt for me, plus i just like the simple aesthetics of the older models. So with this said, i also dont really like getting battered every game where possible 😕so can i ask the group for some steer here towards 2k list building that can hold its own? Just to give even less options i like melee over shooting too....i know i know, ive got no chance but if you can muster the energy a bit of steer on this would be hugely welcomed with much thanks.

    Did you use a template at all for cutting the greenstuff pelts shape? I dont mean the actual fur texture but the larger piece itself?

    thanks, this is great advice hwoever whats the benfit of injuring slaughterpriests to just heal themselves back up? Isnt the goal to kill units off ?

    So the only way I can see to summon something is via 8 tithe points? Is this accurate or am I missing something? Any ideas on how to make summoning a really viable tactic with a Gore Pilgrims oriented list? Im a noob so sorry for the questions.

    Thanks so much for this advice, luckily my purchases have been oriented towards this which is great news. Can I ask, in terms of summoning from the Wrath BloodThirster, how does this work in competitive play now? If I have a 2k list does it need to take account for potential summoned units points?

    Hi all, im late to the party but interested in starting both a mortals and daemon army but want to be clinical in my purchases and hobby time - too many examples of me spending fortunes on models/units that I never end up using. So with this said I want to buck my own trend and work out lists prior to purchasing so I would love your collective wisdom and input to suggest 2k lists? I quite like gore pilgrim and brass stampede for mortals and have 0 ideas around daemons. Any advice would be great cheers

    Do you still score perfect planning if models charge? No move action allowed by the card and a charge is a move and attack action so im guessing if you charge you dont score?

    So heres my thoughts on a list. I guess its pretty controversial in that it ignores all new kits and magic entirely. General - LCelestant on Dracoth L Relictor L Castellant Liberators x 30 Liberators x 10 Liberators x 10 Retributors x 10 Retributors x5 2000 Or same as above with a L Veritant 2 x5 Liberators instead of 2 x10 x9 Prosecutors instead of extra x5 retributors. This is only hypothetical so please tear this to shreds for me and tell me why it wont work before I start buying.

    Newb question, is there any consenus/ruling on painting SCE Hallowed Knights scheme but saying its a Hammers of Sigmar army? And am I readings correctly - enemy kills a unit of liberators and on a 5+ this unit just comes back on the board anywhere else 9" away!? please let this be true.

    Id love to play 30 aurics but they just come on and disappear back off again in my experience to date, plus they need to be shooting at a unit with a hero within 5" to really get the benefit and its hard to get this done in a meaningful way. I'll still endeavour as I want to play them
