  3. Hasnt been said yet. Horrors at battleline if haunter general or if they are hollowmourn court Flayers are battle if infernal courtier or blistermaw grand court. Dragons are battleline if gristlegore
  4. In the matched play rules only one instance of and endless spell can be on the feild at a time. So if your opponent casts cogs you cannot.
  5. The thing about the high drops is as I've said before. NH players need to look at the high drop as standard. Aiming for low drops makes them take hard tax units and hence the bad performance. Having high drops works in with our allegiance ability of deep strike. For every one unit we get one deep strike. So having a 2 or 3 drop army limits our deployment tactics. I think as a whole the grimghast problem is null. Power gamers will always do that whether its grimghast or the new hotness. If there where better alternative choices they wouldnt be picked as frequently. Also if the meta was slightly different people wouldnt feel like they had to pick them. They dont need nerfs as every one has something broken. Ultimately most players arnt competitive players so why should the top 1 percent dictate what gets nerfed when realistically they arnt that strong. Death has been neglected for so long and now all I see is omg nerf death.
  6. I have my nagash and 20 reapers turning up tomorrow and this is the list I have in mind. Please help me make this good and pick it apart.
  7. Tbh what should happen is that reapers dont get touched. Grave gaurd should have their points reduced to make them more of a competitive choice. Same goes with morghasts. The reason that reapers are so strong is that everything close to them pales in comparison. The other GAs have things that are as strong as them if not stronger. Another big thing is that if they are nerfed them any hope of a decent NH pure force dies with them. TL/DR Make deaths other choices more competitive with reapers then it would be a much harder decision to take them. Because grave gaurd and the like have greater synergys.
  8. Seeing this data is really intriguing as I am a death player. What shocks me is that even though LoN has a high presence the win rate is on the lower side. In future I would really like to see a more broken down list taking into consideration of additional rules. As much as these events are similar comparison between an event with realm rules and spell and one without is doing the data a disservice as that can drastically influence data in one way or another. Still though amazing work please keep it up. As the more of this there is the better and more accurate it will become.
  9. Plus stick the spirits next to a Torment and they reroll 1s to hit. Netting potentially more 6s.
  10. I really do believe that the spirit hosts are still our most underrated unit. They always MW on a unmodified 6. Against some armys thats huge. Sylvaneth for example. We are also a very hard army to play because of our high amount of drops. And we actually want it that way. For every 2 units one can be deployed off field which is so huge. Rethinking how we deploy and seeing going second as what we want I think will help solve alot of issues.
  11. I'm really starting to think after seeing more and more lists from tournaments just adopt the grimghast dominant force I'm beginning to think that we need to see much much more variety. There where no myrmourns in any list. No chainghasts very few black coaches. I really think we have an amazing toolkit to pull from and we havent really scratched the surface yet.
  12. I like her command ability dont get me wrong but I want to use my command points on the Vamps ability or the reroll charges one. And ruler of spirit hosts works passively. It's just flat out better.

  14. As I'm building my NH lists I keep coming upon this though that the only reason I'm taking any battalion is for another artifact and a CP. No matter how I build getting anything less than a 6-7 drop force is beyond me. At which point I'm asking myself should I just spend that extra 120 points of more models instead of chaingaurd? And the way I'm leaning is drop the battalion all togethor because if my heal from it get unbound I'm losing almost all of its benefits anyways. Am I crazy or has anyone else felt similar?
