The sun is now Hysh for the other Mortal Realms. That retcons other explanations for the night and day cycle in the Realms. But of course some backwards druids can still believe Aqshy to be their sun, but its just their belief and not the common belief in Ghyran. Also that doesn't prevent the existence of other sun-like celestial bodies (like Sigendil or Ignax when it was still chained).

But as an AOS1 reference, I think we can treat this belief as non-consequential for the wider setting.

I don't remember the core rulebook for the 2nd ever saying that Hysh is the sun. The whole Ulgu-Hysh cycle was described as metaphysical relationship that adjusts the strength of the light of each of the realms suns.

We've spotted a few. Unfortunately this was introduced in the last export when I corrected some last minute typos and it messed up the kerning. We'll have an updated PDF next week.

We'll also have an errata form for any issues you spot. Thanks!

What about lore inconsistencies. I've heard there's a few problems like Troggoths being labelled as Greenskin and Ignax being dead. Unless GW changed something and haven't told us I think neither of those are true.

Hysh is itself a sun, Other suns need Hysh to work. Therefore suns are dominion of Hysh. Not all stars are suns ( I know that it's not

You said that Malerion is an embodiment of treachery - what better worshippers than backstabbing assassins. And I think Maleneth is more devoted to Morathi than Malerion so some exceptions are possible...

We also known that Aqshy is also the sun, atleast of Ghyran.

I don't think Deadwalkers/zombies as we currently know them will exist for much longer. They're too generic for the way GW approaches AOS - it's just zombies and necromancers like you'd find in any fantasy setting. They'll either be discontinued eventually (that basic zombie kit, while a true classic, is ancient at this point), or they'll be reimagined into something totally new and different.

If you put Deadwalkers, Deathmages and Deathrattle together you get a fairly solid "Necromantic Hordes" faction.

Yeah, it's in the link I provided. :)

It's been a long time since Seeds of Hope in the lore so I wouldn't be surprised if such an industrial city that never sleeps kept building on the surrounding lands past the sky Fastness but it's still an important structure. At this point Greywater is more a country and this it's capital.

Fair point on images. I hope someone can assist you with it.

We need all the help we can get really. Especially with unit pages from Battletomes. Those feel like the ones we need the most help with.

    Ooh, that's very helpful!

On another note though, I have a nitpick. The Greywater Fastness page has the great Firestorm artwork of soldiers manning a wall cannon but nothing of the glorious floating city that is the Fastness itself.

    https://www.belloflostsouls.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/AoS-Greywater-Fastness.jpg

Even if it can't go on top of the page maybe you can include it in a gallery underneath the page?

I'm trying to be more strict with images since the sourcing on them has been lax in the past. Before I add such images I need the source, with atleast pagenumber or chapter.

    Thats obviously NOT Greywater Fastness.

Going from its artwork (with its heraldry) in CoS, its clear the city is bigger/larger than the one showed above, and the various descriptions of it never mention that it should "float". We even have stories about the quagmire and the sewer directly around it.

Great artwork tho, just from a "generic" Free city.

I also remember this being a depiction of GF(through I could be wrong) at the time of the Season of War, so it might have expanded considerably since then.

Also Dalaran has sewers so that's a moot point.

I think you make a mistake

THE OLD ONES is different from the Cthulhu-like old ones which are bested by Sigmar and his friends.

Besides, there is a very heavy mentioning of The Old Ones in the tome of champions, while in the first seraphon battletome there is zero

Just like what they add into the second Fyreslayer and Syvalneth battletome (other dwarven gods & Kurnoth/Kurnous), The Old Ones will likely be the extra stuff for Serahon this time.

We don't really know if they are different entities though.

Yeah, 40k's giving us a little breathing room but we all know that axe is ready to fall.  xD

I only care if they have new shop images of old miniatures with round bases and the unit lists for the Lexi anyway.

So I'm new to Warhammer and I don't know what your awnsers mean. What does proxy for Freeguild mean? What does move to Legends mean?

I only have the warscrolls compendiums from the official site rules page. Are there others? How do I obtain them?

    https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Warhammer-Age-of-Sigmar-Rules

That's the old compendiums, these are the new: https://www.warhammer-community.com/legends/

They don't have points yet, but they were slated to be released after 40k legends which happened in December.

Sorry, that's just gossip. I'll edit it.

At best during the summer GW said they'll be moving all older armies to Warhammer Legends sometime next year so it's pretty obvious which guys are going.

    I'll edit it that around.

    Oh okay.

I know they said that they would be put stuff to Legends with Cities of Sigmar, but we have been in radio silence since then. I assume because they choose to prioritize 40k Legends first.

    Marvelous job!

I was having Mortal Realm withdrawals without it to browse through on my off hours. xD

It's always great to hear that! :D

We really need someone with the early Battletome: Seraphon as we are missing a lot of that early content, specially about the different kinds of Seraphon.

They did say that points for Legends would be rolled out in the new year, so I'd assume any Empire, Dwarfs or High Elf Legends would wait until then as well.

Did they specifically said new year? I just remember them mentioning it after Cities of Sigmar and later this year.

  12. 5 minutes ago, madmac said:

I never said they didn't, just that it's meaningless until/if we get Devoted heroes added back in.

Which I think is more likely than not, Warrior Priests and Witch Hunters have a long pedigree in Warhammer, but it could be a long wait.

It's not the only faction with a single unit, so nothing else is new.

All of the Eldritch Council and Swifthawk Agents units (bar Shadow Warriors, who we're not ever sure are still Swifthawk Agents) have been discontinued ahead of the Cities of Sigmar launch. It's very sad news, but the silver lining is that if you still own any Swifthawk of Eldritch Council models, then High/Dark/Wood Elves are all pretty interchangeable, and most discontinued stuff is still very usable in a Cities of Sigmar force.

Shameless plug, but if it's any use to you, I've written a two part article on the subject, with suggestions on how to use every human, dwarf and elf unit discontinued by GW from the recent stuff to the 1980s in a Cities of Sigmar army:

    https://doublemisfire.blogspot.com/2019/09/no-substitute-discontinued-units-in.html

    https://doublemisfire.blogspot.com/2019/09/no-substitute-discontinued-units-in_26.html

Shadow Warriors are now Shadowblades according to the Shadow Warriors  warscroll in the GW website.
