  1. Yeah that makes sense even through there are only four Daemons of Chaos units and Creatures of Chaos tab shares a lot with other factions tabs. I would love if they moved some more Daemon stuff from 40k and 30k to AoS(Forgefiend/Maulerfiend), but I honestly doubt they will give FW even a momentary thought.
  2. I'm looking at the keywords of the new warbands and the most noteworthy are: The warbands all have the Cultists and Slaves to Darkness. Raptoryx have Slaves to Darkness but not Monsters of Chaos. Furies have the Slaves to Darkness. Maybe they are going to fuse Slaves to Darkness and Daemons of Chaos together, like the Soul Grinder and Be'Lakor.
  3. I've decided to deal with that kind of stuff "later" after the split. Hopefully then I will have more feedback and have fixed a lot of issues that are confusing.
  4. They have introduced a new type of gods called Old Ones that seemed to rule over the Mortal Realms before Sigmar. We don't know if they are the same entities as the Warhammer World or not.
  5. Problem with that is that both Stormcast Eternals and Greater Daemons are called demigods. I don't object to the creation of a Demigod section, I just don't know where to put the line exactly.
  6. I dunno. When Araloth unmasked Asuryan and found his own face, I thought it was implied that the Haven was them just time travelling to the beginning of time Warhammer World. Araloth becomes Asuryan through time travel and that "cosmic cycle" was a time loop, which explains why he was always able to outmatch Tzeentch in the game of fate. Atleast that was my interpretation of it.
  7. This is the better category, https://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Category:Deities_of_the_Mortal_Realms with a complete list of all deities in the mortals realms. You can also check for a more organized list by type https://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/Template:Mortal_Realms_Deities Some of the gods are the same, like Sigmar, the Bad Moon or Tzeentch. Some have gone through small changes, like Morrda, which is similar, to or Kurnoth which seems to be the fusion of Kurnous and Anath, or Gorkamorka. Some have ascended, like how Great Horned Rat became a Dark God, how Alarielle, Tyrion, Teclis, Malerion ascended to godhood, Morghur became a Chaos God and Morathi a Demigoddess Others are entirely new, Vulcatrix, Lunaghast, Manarchael and the Dreaming One. There's a lot of stuff to be said about deities in the Mortal Realms.
  8. There's a new Archetype of the Aether-Khemist. However, someone pointed out that this part "transmuting the caustic gas into a stable solid. Aether-Khemists learn to grade any find of aether-gold by smell" might be contradictory as smelling caustic gases should be really dangerous. Might be something you want to look into @Emmetation.
  9. So how many of these Mercenary companies are there right now? 2 from Forbidden Power and 8 from GHB19?
  10. Since you are answering these questions, will we get info on Fulminax? dis currently imprisioned in the Great Parch I would like to know more about the nature and history of this Realmstone Elemental. Maneaters are specifically stated to be the Mercenary Ogor faction.
  11. From what I understand this Blades of Khorne tome is a multi-army one, allowing one to play as Bloodbound, Daemons or Generic Khorne. Maybe even Khorne Beastmen? From what I understand the old tome of 2017 was heavily Generic Khorne only. It seems like giving every sub-faction allegiance abilities is what they are going to do moving forward with Battletomes.
  12. What era will be the "setting"? I'm asking because the most recent era of the Age of Sigmar, the Arcanum Optimar had some changes to how the magic work, most notably with the addition of Endless Spell, Realmsphere magic(the ability for magic users to innately tap the magic of the realm to enhance spells and access to natural spell list) and the spontaneous enchantment of objects of notoriety. And if it happens during this time will there be options to play in different eras with different rules? On another note I would like to know if there will be information on: Religions: not just the gods from the World-that-was but also the new ones like Dracothion and Ignax, Generic race info: By which I don't mean an entry on Fyreslayer Duardin. What I really would like to see is a entry with general Duardin information from all factions. Bestiary: A real thick bestiary book.
  13. The warscroll pdfs are still active, even if the shop page itself was turned off. I keep a list of those links on here: http://whfb.lexicanum.com/wiki/List_of_Warhammer:_Age_of_Sigmar_units Every link, including Gitmobs, should be working still. EDIT: Feel free to nab them. It's always good to have backups.
  14. I think it's more likely they will turn it into a new Warhammer Legends pdf.
  15. There are a few factions that I think don't have any lore whatsoever besides being in the Grand Alliance books. From memory as a editor in the Lexicanum they are: Order: Darkling Covens, Order Draconis and Order Serpentis. Chaos: Daemons of Chaos. Destruction: Firebellies, Gitmob Grots and Maneaters. Death: none
  16. The Bad Moon is a deity that actually beat Gorkamorka by breaking it's teeth when he tried to eat it.
  17. I created an article at the Lexicanum that contains the info on Dark Elves Legends Compendium. This includes a list of warscrolls and in which faction of the Mortal Realms they can be used as well as those that can be classified as Legacy. It also contains a brief history of the Compendiums for the Dark Elves. Warhammer Legends Dark Elves Lexicanum article If you have any suggestions or criticisms do tell me.
  18. Nagash didn't eat Valaya, he just drained her of her power stockpile that she was going to use to return Dwarfs to greatness.
  19. The only exception, that I know off, is Blut'Rexx that held on to the banner after slaying it's owner and fought against Azyrite blasts to stop the banner from leaving.
  20. My suggestions are the following: Favourite faction in AoS? What he would like to write about in the Mortal Realms setting? How permissive GW is with adding new ideas when he's writting? How permissive GW is with translating ideas from the old setting to the new? (example: bringing creatures, races or god of the old RPGs into the new setting)(like the Necoho mention in Auction of Blood).
  21. Sounds like it might be related with the Soul Wars which I remember being something about an ancient evil awakening and Nagash using it to grow in power.
  22. Can you tell us the history? Also is the desert of Droost mentioned before? The name sounds familiar.
  23. Sigmar's Pantheon was founded with demigods in it and I think Archaon has been called one before.
  24. Life would hate Order, because it destroys life to build civilisation, even the sylvaneth, and death could see all the graves, pyramids, mortuary factories and necromantic monuments as unnatural, since death is supposed to be still, not moving as undead creature. The hard one would be Light, as in the Warhammer setting this element deals with weird conceptualisations. I prefer them as primal forces of the realms rather than something that can be summoned.
