  1. Thanks again for your feedback. Can you let us know where you came across the SHA1 certificate? The one we use for the app and our marketing site are SHA256 as per Apple's guidelines and support for SHA1 has been removed from iOS since Spring 2017. Paint Pot is a native iOS application written in Objective C and isn't a thin client. You can use the app to manage paints and it will sync to our web service when you next have an internet connection. Paint information is stored in CoreData and is backed up to iCloud using the normal backup procedure so should work offline. Only thing you need a connection for is to login/create account and download paints initially.
  2. Version 2.1 is now available on the App Store and has many improvements. https://appsto.re/gb/dDuDU.i
  3. Thanks for your feedback and the heads up about our certificate. We've recently been doing some behind the scenes work for an upcoming update and have now fixed the certificate issue. As for creating an account, we decided to do it this way so the user's paints and lists are synced to the server. If you lose your device, you can simply login to a new one and everything will be synced back over. It also allows us to add new paint ranges without an app update.
  4. Cheers, if you have any feedback please let us know: info@paintpotapp.com
