  1. I didn't know how much I needed this in my life until now.
  2. Stormcast riding adorable little Dracoths, the chibi-est Bloodcrushers- and oh my good gods imagine the Gore Gruntas!
  3. Has anyone got any advice for playing against Bloodbound? I got absolutely wrecked by my mate's warband yesterday, though I cleaned up his Stormcast pretty easily afterwards.
  4. It's even better vs warbands with a low number of important models, like Stormcast, because you take one of them out and things suddenly get a lot harder for them. Even worth it versus Bloodbound and Guard if you can use it to fairly reliably take down a key figure, like the Warden or Garrek.
  5. @spazz that mohawk is incredible, how have we not seen more punk-inspired Orcs?!? @Okonomiyakimarine god dammit I hate you- you're all, "hmm it's not that good" and that blending is already better than anything I can hope to achieve ?
  6. ...how many souls for some of your spare warpfire throwers? ?
  7. Looking good! Where did you get the extra ratling guns?
  8. 9. Quick thanks to all of you who've been discussing decks and strategy in this thread- I had a thorough re-read before my two games today, and it really helped. Lost the first- just- against Stormcast, won the second- violently and overwhelmingly- against Bloodbound. Skritch is a monster, he took down Oberyn and at least three of the Bloodbound by himself. The Hungering Skaven/Black Hunger/Shadeglass Hammer combo is disgusting (his greatest moment was being killed by Brightshield, being brought back by There Are Always More the very same activation, then immediately attacking and killing her in one hit), and I will continue to use it until people threaten to not play me anymore. Clearly my deck has some finessing in its future, but I'm quite pleased with its first performance. Objectives Hold Objective 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Brilliant, Brilliant! Skritch is the Greatest, Yes-Yes Denial Contained Master of War Lives Are Cheap Swift Advance Ploys Confusion Sacrificial Pawn Momentary Madness Spoils of Battle Sidestep Musk of Fear Nervous Scrabbling Aversion to Death There Are Always More* Momentary Boldness Upgrades Shadeglass Hammer Shadeglass Darts Shardcaller Acrobatic Great Strength Total Offence Black Hunger Skitter-Scurry Sneaky Stab-Stab Bodyguard for a Price *The Skaven on this card is absolutely adorable.
  10. I have to say I wonder about the good sense of living in a place literally called Bitterfruit. Beautiful tree-people!
  11. Just the non-skin highlights on these Clanrats to do...
  12. Just the highlights to do on these last five Clanrats... just the highlights...
  13. I got my Spiteclaw's Swarm today, whacked them together and had a quick game. I'm still new to Shadespire and so was my opponent so I'm sure we weren't doing things optimally, but essentially: he was Sepulchral Guard and I decided early on I didn't really want to fight them because I didn't want to inspire them and also 3 of my ratty fellows hit as hard as a wet sponge. Unfortunately this played right into his hand as he had the objective that required the Warden and 4 (?) other dudes to still be alive and uninspired, which gave him a convincing win. My deck started well but didn't carry on in that vein, and I ended up with cards I couldn't score and ploys I couldn't play, so Skritch was the only one who got inspired the whole game (on either side, come to think of it). He finished in my back lines, at the very least scoring me a glory point for leading from the back, while I rez'd the Lurking Skaven to ineffectually threaten the Guard's back lines. I think I need more practise.
  14. Damn I'm so excited about the Daughters of Kane! I can't wait to get me some Melusai ???
  15. If you want to rain on peoples' parade could you do it elsewhere?
  16. Weird. I've spoken to one store manager in the UK and one in Austria and both have told me the same thing. Also seen people on Reddit from the Netherlands and Italy complaining about that.
  17. Oh for crying out loud... Are they determined to sabotage themselves?
  18. Try going to your local GW and see if they're stocking them.
  19. The local GW store manager was equally baffled, she told me she thought it was selling pretty well and people are confused by the decision. I'm really disappointed as I went into town specifically to get Spiteclaw's Swarm- ridiculous choice by GW.
  20. Is someone with a head injury in charge of selling at GW? Why in the name of all that's holy are they only selling the new warbands online?
  21. We have (in all three of my games so far, woo) been assuming that as the attacker rolls first, if they roll nothing actionable there is not necessarily a need for the defender to roll, and so for instance Stormcast cannot become inspired because hey, there's nothing to block. Am I doing it wrong?
