  1. From yesterday's WC article about Sigvald: "Abandoned by Slaanesh, the scraps of Sigvald’s soul lingered in the void for an age, until Nagash – now the god of Death in the new worlds of the Mortal Realms – found them and claimed revenge for Krell’s destruction. The Great Necromancer trapped Sigvald’s essence in a Shadeglass mirror that would reflect only an idealised image of whoever gazed into it, ensuring Sigvald could never be seen again – fitting revenge for one so vain. He cast the mirror into the pocket dimension of Uhl-Gysh, where it came to rest in the cursed city of Shadespire. Unknown to Nagash, Slaanesh was also trapped in Uhl-Gysh. The Dark Prince’s gradual escape and growing power gave Sigvald some measure of awareness and control. The mirror was eventually taken from Uhl-Gysh by duardin privateers, before falling into the hands of a band of Hedonite Godseekers, who unwittingly released Sigvald’s essence. Reborn and empowered once more by the growing might of his god, Sigvald set out to unite the followers of Slaanesh in preparation for the Dark Prince’s apotheosis." So yes, it's a continuation of his former lore rather than a rehashing of it.
  2. Initial Character details: Name: Iorek Stronginthearm Species: Duardin Archetype: Trade Pioneer Still thinking about goals. Background-wise I'm thinking that he's a younger son of a reasonably respected and affluent family of duardin traders, and as such, has had to prove his worth from a distance. Slightly morose about the fact that being Soulbound means that he will not be able to be buried alongside his ancestors. How are we doing dice rolling?
  3. The Rotters in the Nurgle team do fit on 25mm bases - I've used them for my own Nurgle marauders.
  4. Judgements require the army to be a Khorne army, so yes, they are allegiance locked.
  5. That's just the problem of AoS being a d6 based game - things with different levels of armour are going to have the same save. Think Liberator and Retributor, for example. Bear in mind that Chaos Warriors also have an extra wound to differentiate them.
  6. Sooooo... Ardboyz have gone full circle - from consolidated weapons profiles with the original Black Orcs warscroll to separated profiles for the original Ardboyz and now back to consolidated profiles - did GW figure they messed up by separating them out?
  7. I think the counterparts are meant to be Hysh and Ulgu, Aqshy and Chamon, Ghyran and Ghur, and Azyr and Shyish.
  8. The Slaves to Darkness battleforce is still available on the webstore as well.
  9. I don't think so, no. It's not the same as in 40k, where it's a lot more strict.
  10. Actually, looking at the wording in the Stormcast Eternals battletome, units that already have a Stormhost keyword can be included in an army that has a different keyword - they just lose out on the abilities, so it is not as bad as it seems, hopefully. So basically, it shouldn't stop the rest of your army being GAVESPAWN or DARKWALKERS, though it will miss out on their abilities.
  11. As shown in The Rumour Thread, the link for the article on Warhammer Community has low resolution copies of the warscroll. While much of the Beastmen warscroll is obscured, the right-most visible keyword of Grashrak Fellhoof is ALLHERD.
  12. Unfortunately, he appears to have the Allherd keyword, somewhat restricting his use.
  13. Some models, such as the Tzeentch Magister and the Necromancer have had slightly adjusted moulds so that what used to be the scenic base is now just a piece of scenery that can be glued onto a standard base with no extra work.
  14. Pitched Battle profiles have been available freely through the Warscroll Builder on the Warhammer Community website for a while now as far as I recall.
  15. Other than the Khorne releases, the only ones on that list that were actually released for Age of Sigmar were the Ogroid Thaumaturge, Kairic Acolytes, Lord of Blights and the Pusgoyle Blightlords/Lord of Afflictions dual kit.
  16. Do we know for certain that the save is gone? After all, when Bonesplittaz got their second wound, their Warpaint save just moved from their warscroll to the Allegiance Abilities.
  17. Pre-orders for next week: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2019/02/03/pre-order-preview-carrion-empire-and-genestealer-cults/ I don't think anyone expected this much this quickly.
  18. The simple fact is that Moonclan Grots were never going to be sold in less than 20s because there isn't a duplicate sprue - there is no way that they could possibly sell them in 10s.
  19. I think that was supposed to be more of a Beastmen one than really a Skaven one.
  20. Remember that all Underworlds models get AoS profiles.
  21. The face does also look somewhat grot-like...
  22. Nurgle offers acceptance of one's own mortality, and joy in the inevitability of death , so there will always be those who will fall to Nurgle. You may want to read some of Reynolds's books that feature the Most Suppurating and Blightsome Order of the Fly, as I think they would help to reconcile the idea of noble emotions with the worship of Nurgle.
  23. Has there been any change in how dual-wielding weapons is handled for Liberators, as with how they currently are, it seems like the Knights Excelsior rules essentially render them obsolete?
