Most of you gave me their input about how they perceive the hobby instead of giving me the set of rules I was looking for.

May i ask why you  opened up this thread in a fan forum when you could just ask GW via e-mail about this, just in case they actually HAVE some sort of official regulations for this?

I'm just curious, but feel free to ignore this question: If GW has regulations for stuff like this, what would happen if they would contradict your store manager's tournament requirements?

I hope you have a very polite and odourless week!

You mean a character that would ruin the whole narrative of its faction?

Only after 14 years (including Warcraft 3) by becoming the Warchief, so we would have plenty of time (i guess?).

They could even go down a route like in the Warcraft universe, where a group of undead  managed to break their mind free from the influence of the Lich King, in this case Nagash.

Just imagine an AoS version of Sylvanas Windrunner.... 😍

Whenever Slaves to Darkness/Everchosen get released, I'd like to see them receive a warband. Call it "Champions of the Everchosen" or something along those lines. It would feature primarily the Chaos Warriors (and maybe new plastic Chosen 😃), possibly Chaos Knights  and maybe the chaos warhounds or some new beastie to rival Gryph Hounds. This is essentially what the chaos warbands in Warcry are fighting to become, so it could show growth of your warband.

Plus, StD could also serve as a third-player like the beasts currently do. They patrol the roads across the Allpoints so it wouldn't be a stretch for them to want to put down any rift-raft or invaders they come across.

I think the already announced Spire Tyrants could be something like this. Archaons gladiator champions who sort out the weak from the other warbands.
On another note, every current chaos warband is a Slaves to Darkness warband.

  5. Good thing i planned to buy a second box anyway 🤔

Had my first two games yesterday, was a bit unfortunate regarding the battleplans because my opponent took up both treasures in the two games with his Rocktusk Prowler and just ran away and i wasn't able to keep up in order to terrify him.
BUT although a glascannon the Blissful One is dishing out some serious pain, love it! Plus the second game had the twist where every unit gets +1 strength, which made the Blissful and my Joyous One even more deadlier.

  6. I am planning to base my Unmade similar to the Varanspire style terrain, especially those spikes and eight-pointed stars.

The Chaos Space Marine Rhino sprues with spikes and stars should do the job in addition to chaos-waste debris/stuff.

I picked up the Cypher Lords because they were the Warband I liked the most that others didn't already have plans for. I love the models, and the playstyle has been fun and challenging, but... I have NO idea how I could fill out the warband. While I appreciate the simplicity of just multiple boxes of the warband fitting together so well, I think I would have preferred the Leader of each warband to be a character instead of part of the unit. Having more than 1 Thrallmaster, especially with that grandiose and hard to convert pose, just doesn't appeal.

The Kairic Acolytes feel like the closest connection to the Cypher Lords, but the different helmets would feel off, and the more static poses also are kinda lame compared to the dynamic poses of the Cypher lords. BUT, the dynamic poses of the Cypher lords make them hard to build other than how the box demands, meaning...multiples just look meh. A big problem I've come to with new GW stuff more and more.....hmm...

So, my Cypher Lords may just stay in the "base" mode, though currently there aren't a lot of builds to bother with other than different mixes of goons, so perhaps not that big of a deal?

BTW, can you just take Furies/Raptoryxes in Matched Play? That'd be a nice addition and other conversion opportunity.

I'd have a look into the Daughters of Khaine, especially the Sisters of Slaughter.

Besides that, i'm looking around for models with similar aesthetics like my Unmade warband, but i found nothing really useful so far.
