Gargants larger then the current ones and closer to Behemat size

woot bring out the proper bigger Gargants

I hope we will get new battleline giants, would be happy to make an army without the old gargants models...

Me either. I think itll be a single Gargant with some Human allies. First Destructive Mortal Tribesman?

Allies  ? I hope not, a giant should be in a other category than a troll or an ogre...

I was expecting some bulkier giants, but it make sense they kept the previous design. And it indeed has a very welcome non grimdark fairy tale touch.

Would you put your money on 3 kits or 1 multi build for the 3 giants in the pictures ?

If they have shields then we can expect a 3+ save Gargant maybe. Oof.

The big dwarf ships were not so good in the armor departement. Realism is often secondary in AoS.  To have more pleasant match up vs army with few MW maybe they will give them tons of wound and more average save ? (Except ofc for the faction Petrifex Gargants ;p)

These are the ones I found, did I miss any?

Also these looks like they might be Lumineth related:

Looking at the horns on Celennar they seem very similar in design as the rumour engine split horns above:

Could even be an alternate head ?

I dunno, blackpowder weapon zombies with a glint of personality, ghost ships, mutants with swords for legs, monstrous undead crabs, actual mecha made from shipwrecks and drowned men are all pretty fantastical. They'd stand out nicely from the other Death factions and would be a good way to reintroduce rotting flesh to Death's aesthetic, but in a unique enough way (maritime, combined with blackpowder, seawater and rotting wood) that it wouldn't step on Nurgle's toes/conceptual space.

I feel Deepkin should have been that... or full see creatures army : shark or crab face guys on giant krakens...

    Actually, the old lore:

Nurgle - Accepting the inevitable. The unending cycle. Inviolable. Absolute.

    Vs

Tzeentch - Master your own fate. Nothing is set in stone. Everything changes all the time.

Khorne - All that matters is battle. Strength. Pride. Martial skill. Focus all on killing. The only worthwhile sensation is the thrill of the kill.

    Vs

Slaanesh - Whee! Experience everything. All sensation is great. Kill or be lazy. It's all the same. Fighting is just one of a million cool things to do.

Nurgle should go under Order, same for Nagash :) While Khorne is clearly destruction 😜

Armoured giants if I had my way. Shiny golden armour. In between the keeper of secrets and ogors in build and height. Kratos style weapons on chains. Probably a bit late for the designers to take my suggestions into account 😂

I would prefer mine taller than trolls, 15 cm + :)

I like it, great job. I'm still struggling to find a scheme. I know I'm doing jade weapons\shields with copper or gold as the metallics throughout, but thinking of a complementary color to use for the bone is what's getting to me as I don't want to use a standard bone color. Maybe I'll go with gray...or a mars red.

Black would work nicely with your scheme, with reddish leather. Salamanders Chapter style.

From a numbers perspective, spears are better than swords when fighting in 3 rows. In 10 man squads, you'll rarely if ever be fighting 3 deep, so when taking MSU, swords are optimal. However, if the only rule you care about is the rule of cool then follow your heart on which weapon to model. I for one think spears look way the best.

I love the spears look on the guards but find them akward on the riders. No dynamism.

I’m not that harsh with him but I’m on the same line. I have more than 10k points of Death armies, more than half painted, but no Nagash. After reading his story in WFB (nice books by the way) I really disliked him but one day I’ll buy that model.

    And maybe paint it.

I am sure a new one will come at some point.

  11. I will go for a super fluffy uneffective Pratorian list, with big daddy, 2 crawlers, 40 spear guards, some cavalry and sarchophagius guy (in one or 2 years when he got a proper release :) but I hate his head, so I will switch it, probably for a Corvus Cabal raven skulls !!

the nexus is huge 😮. fortunately,  it is placed before any other terrain, even the normal one. anywhere on the battlefield, 3" from objectives and 6" from battlefield edge

Do you know by chance if it could fit on top of any sigmar terrain plateforms ? Thank you !!
