Honestly think it's going to be evil swamp plants or something, I can't see it being goblins as I can't imagine sigmar sending his elite new soldiers to fight some goblins In a swamp, it's a weird matchup. Plus we have the comment from alerielle about life running rampant and being a problem and that artwork from the rulebook of the angel lady surrounded by what easily could be a mass of mutated thorny roots. The swamp itself grabbing soldiers is also pretty spooky. On a personal note though I still haven't bought into AOS, just want normal humans or dwarves :(

What if the centaur is a Kurnothi red herring and we are meant to be looking at the rocky desert...maybe Kragnos is a certain badass who does not serve with a history of using rock golems :')

I kind of hope and won't be surprised at all if the old world is in a smaller scale, they would be insanely foolish to not tap into the Warhammer total war crowd. Odds are its just going to be entirely forgeworld and a replacement for horus heresy but I'm hoping for smaller scale miniatures so we can have massive battles.

Honestly, Zombie or not that is clearly a scarecrow..its got straw coming out of its back and a crow sitting on what could easily be a hat. I honestly think i'd prefer scarecrows to zombies, the hammerhal herald thing also showed weird Shakespearean flesh eaters so i'd be all for a really whacky horror army Edit: What I would really love is if it's a zombie special unit that has the abiliity to summon crows...that would be epic. Would make the bird house make sense too

There was a crab claw this week that that looked strikingly similar to the vampire coast leviathan from Warhammer total war 2, there was also what looked like a cannon with barnacles on not long back. I'm trying to maintain my hype for lumineth but unfortunately Gws tactics seem to be having the opposite effect of hype on me. I'm not a child who needs to be teased like it's Christmas just show me the range and if I want to buy it I will wait 😂

Between the long wait for lumineth, the horrible drip reveal strategy and the two rumour engines that heavily look like vampire coast is coming I am very torn at the moment. Does anyone know any armies that can be built fairly elite and cheap preferably with start collecting or something to tide me over until something new gets released ?

Yes but EA are probably the worst regarded video game company. I understand the situation but it doesn't change the fact their approach to this has just been annoying and misleading, the articles would have been the same low quality virus or not

I really hate GW, if a video game company hyped up a game as much and delivered so little there would be uproar. They are basically the Peter molyneux of the tabletop world and need to learn better marketing in my opinion. I love the mountain aspect but if it's all we are getting they should have deep dived the mountain lore more instead of going on about everything else and Tyrion for months.

It specifically said he can only see through Teclis I think, I really love the idea of him having that whole blind samurai thing going on and casting a sun/light spell to blind his opponents so they fight on equal ground

I bloody love these guys and the helmets don't even bother me, if anyone can be balanced with a giant hammer and an unweildy helmet it's someone who has spent who knows how long dedicating themselves to becoming the embodiment of a mountain

I think my only actual thing i dislike so far is Cellenar, I would much rather have had Teclis floating on some magic sort of like the Celestant Prime, hell i would even settle for him with a flight stand up his ass. I'm sure it isn't something I can't solve with a bit of sneaky converting...even him floating in front of Cellenar instead of above and to the side would be much more pleasing.

I don't think we are getting much beyond possible dual kits...I mean I like mountain so I don't really mind, will be exciting every time we get a new geomantic faction as long as it doesn't take like five years each, if anything I think we will get something new when malerion launches

It would be amazing if it meant you could build the other brother on a smaller base and have Tyrion mounted and Teclis on foot or vise versa, I don't want them to both be on huge monsters because it means fielding them together becomes very unlikely

This is how i'm reading them at the minute, I think those helmets under the one i marked zenith are probably wind and river so I don't really see tokens for any other big spirit avatars, maybe they don't have tokens though, really hope i'm wrong. Edit : the one i have labelled sun could be literally anything I guess considering we don't know whats going on with Tyrion

Looking at the tokens I can only see tokens for Sun, Moon and the mountain spirit though as well as the various types of troops. Although I have no idea what those tokens even do so i'm not exactly coming from a place of enlightenment

Honestly lumineth almost dragged me back into the world of games workshop but the way they are drip revealing things like this has done nothing but bore me and kill my hype. It doesn't help that their website content writers are an absolute shambles who seem completely incapable of writing interesting content

That is most of the fun for me tbh, I already think those bull emblems modified on the shoulders with fur on the cape is gonna look amazing, basically AOS white lions, the big cows are gonna be tricky but i'm pretty convinced painting them like magical stone will solve the giant beastman vibe anyhow

Yeah I completely agree, Idoneth really don't leave too many possibilities for a river spirit it seems, maybe it will just be a cool water elemental type thing, I'd be very surprised if the wind spirit didn't end up some sort of eagle like thing whenever it gets released

I'v been looking into water spirits and stuff, and judging by the greek influence I have a worrying theory that the river spirit is going to be some crazy seahorse

Oh man don't even, although they are one of the most dangerous animals on the planet. River really has me stumped, even the Greek god of rivers was mostly represented as a bull man 😂

If you want Dragons then that is Malerions deal,I don't know why that surprises anyone? I fully think our wind aspect is likely to be some sort of eagle although I have no idea about river. The only thing I have an issue with so far is the big fleshy cows but that will be easy enough to fix with a stoney paintjob and some light conversion
