  1. Coherency change was probably done to remove 1" and 2" measurements from the game and standardize everything to either 1/2" or 3". I bet there will be new combat gauges with just these two measurements on them
  2. I was definitely not expecting them to ever add these random NPCs they've been showing in stormcast art for years as actual models - very cool!
  3. Lord-Celestants are leaders of the Strike Chambers (Harbinger, Exemplar, and Warrior) and Extremis Chambers. It would require some retconning to have them also leading the Ruination Chambers. I think there will probably be a new Lord-Celestant and this leaked model is a new Ruination hero. Maybe it's just the Prime from the new unit of Ruination Paladins, since GW likes to use regular units in their key art (Annihilators in 3rd ed, Sequitors in 2nd ed, Liberators in 1st ed).
  4. It seems that there is no "end of phase" any more. We have only seen "end of turn", and the article about commands implied that the player taking the turn uses all their abilities and then their opponent uses theirs.
  5. Are you going to put Warriors in front of your Knights before the Knights charge?
  6. Not all Paladins wield two-handed weapons. Annihilators, for example. Why do you think they would remove Paladins from the lore when they just added Annihilators and this new Ruination Paladin? The different Conclaves are a big part of the Stormcast design.
  7. The new unit in the cinematic trailer are Paladins from the Ruination Chamber. They have the Paladin Conclave symbol (the crescent moon) just like Annihilators. Retributors, Decimators, and Protectors were sold in a box titled "Paladins" which was a bit misleading but appropriate at the time since they were the only Paladin Conclave units, but now there are others. It's interesting how similar the new unit is to Bastian. Cloak draped over one shoulder, large animal-themed shoulderpad, the raised collar, the sigmar emblem on their right shoulder... Seems like a lot of the same design language.
  8. The "custodes" unit you mentioned and the leaked Paladins are the same unit shown in the cinematic trailer. The random humans in the bottom art are not going to be Stormcast models, they are random NPCs. The winged stormcast in the background, however...
  9. Yes Worth noting that it is not the same icon that was leaked by @SG Warhound earlier
  10. It's nice that they included a TOW army on there
  11. There are numerous errors on this. Zephyros and Lord-Relictor were not announced to be cut. Liberators and Prosecutors are already confirmed to get new models. It includes the Stormcoven and Truthseekers, but shows other Underworlds warbands being cut. The Lord-Castellant from Toll's Companions is not a Stormcast unit, he is part of a Cities of Sigmar unit. Gryph-hounds are not included at all. Showing two different Lord-Ordinators is pointless, since there is only one warscroll. Similarly there is no reason to show the 3x Sequitor box since that's the same unit as regular Sequitors (but in an illegal unit size) There are multiple units that have no rules, like the various Questors/Incantor/Arcanum/Liberator special releases. It is misleading to include these models, as they do not have a different warscroll and most of them are not available for sale anyway.
  12. Every Sacrosanct model is being put into Legends Incantor does not come with Liberators
  13. Black Dragons from Cities of Sigmar also being cut
  14. Cursed City gone for good Scribes and/or Flux are being remade for the Tzeentch book. Should be one of the first battletomes. Same with Epidemius in the Nurgle release
  15. I never really understood the Sacrosanct Chamber concept. They guard the Anvil of Apotheosis, but there is only one Anvil so why does every Stormhost have a Sacrosanct Chamber? How many guards does it need?
  16. Guess it wasn't that crazy of an idea
  17. There were 5 Prosecutors in the cinematic trailer...
  18. What if Faction A sells more than faction B and you want to make more money?
  19. The roman influences are still there, but they're a lot more subtle than in the old design. The chainmail battle-skirts, the plumes, etc. There are units called Praetors and Imperatant.
  20. These weapon options already seen in the cinematic trailer, and they wouldn't put them there unless the models had them
  21. What about dual hammer liberators? What about grandhammers? You would have to create different point values for different weapon options, and that is actually more confusing than having two different warscrolls. It also creates WYSIWYG problems which everyone hates. Merging these units together kills the flavor and you end up increasing complexity in an effort to reduce it. The problem is not the number of warscrolls, the problem is bad warscroll design. If these units had distinct rule niches then nobody would be asking to merge them.
