Did I hear on the podcast that you used some flourescent pigments for this? Where did you get them from? Looks great!
I've tried some Vallejo flu colours, but i'd like to give pigments a go too. More versatile perhaps.@Chris Tomlin, holy ---- this Warchanter is sensational. Brilliant work.

The new white dwarf IS just the unforged repackaged. What a bummer.
FWIW I don't mind it personally. That slayer model remains amazing. Most importantly, we're getting a warscroll for Grombrindal. Now if that disappoints...

Hey @Terry Pike, the pack looks great. One thing: Are you guys allowing trees to be removed from a citadel wood for easier maneuverability, but you must still keep models outside the circumference of each tree base?

Cool! I'm actually selling some really-well-painted Khorne Bloodbound. I'll be bringing some High Elves + Stormcast. High Elves were my first and forever love.

Hey @Alpharion, are you going to Slobberknocker? I'm next door: Missouri. Excited for the event! What faction(s) do you play?

Excellent podcast, which I have been listening to for years. Even continued listening while wandering in the wilderness for the last year. Must renew my SAWC membership.
@scrubyandwells If you haven't heard it, I'd also recommend the episode covering how Dan and Wayne manage the work, family, hobby, life balance - will see if I can find the title.
Thanks! I'd love to hear that one.

Brilliant, thanks!

Hi @Dan Heelan, do you have the "Gentleman Gamer" ep available anywhere? Missed that one originally. Would love to give it a listen.

Hey @Ben, would you care to clarify whether you have any indication this reflects GW's view, or whether it's your working interpretation for Blood and Glory? I tried asking this question at the official AoS Fb page quite a while back but didn't get a reply. The topic has been discussed extensively at "Let's Chat Sylvaneth." The working interpretation among many came to the opposite conclusion, but I think we were all clear it was an interpretation and we lacked 100% clarity on how to handle it.
For reference, attached is one aspect of the interpretation. As @Mirage8112 noted, expanding on the attachment:
So, you set up the entire battalion (some on the board, some in the "hidden enclaves") and you can still use the battalion's special rules. Since the rules for the Deadwood Wargrove (and Free Spirits battalion) can still be used per the FAQ, you can "use" the rules to deploy them. Placing those units does not preclude you selecting them, or deploying them, since they are essentially "deployed," just not on the board.
It goes without saying it's your event to rule as you wish. I was just curious about the context of the interpretation, since it's a significant ruling.
For what it's worth, I haven't heard any experienced Sylvaneth player saying the full-scope-of-movement interpretation is OP. It does provide an alphastrike capability for Sylvaneth (a capability that would be greatly lessened without that interpretation), but it doesn't appear imbalanced. It seems clear there are stronger alphastrikes already available, including for Stormcast and Skaven, as well as the movement and hitting potential of Beastclaw Raiders and Tomb Kings.
Anyway, just wanted to share some thoughts. Good luck with final prep this month. Hope you guys have an amazing event! Excited to follow along online.
