  1. This happens with every new release and the first month of it. People find a good list and immediately whine that other lists aren’t “competitive” and call for a nerf to the good list so their dumb one can be “competitive.” Nearly all the other factions in both Sigmar and 40k have one cookie cutter skeleton of a list with a few random stuff thrown in (for the most part), so why are we any different? I think the book is fine and maybe needs some love for the other factions but it’s clearly the norm at this point to design a few “fun” sub factions and one or two actually competitive ones per book.
  2. Okay so the Stalkers have 5 attacks EACH, 3+ 3+ -1 1D that can be -2 2D from their aspect. They're also 200 for a squad of 3 whereas Morghasts are 210 for 2. And that's not getting into different things with the legions.
  3. I was more talking about how you were confusing the two and mentioning what seemed like the Guard's rules.
  4. My buddies are a little competitive but I don’t plan on taking my daemons to any tournaments any time soon, though.
  5. Hey guys. I’ve just gotten back into Slaanesh since my buddy wants to start up Deepkin, and was hoping some of you guys could help me put together a 1k and 2k list. I have: 1 Infernal Enrapturess 2 Keepers of Secrets, 1 built with a sinistrous hand, the other still NOS. I like Shalaxi but I’m not sure how good s/he is and may just buy another Keeper of Secrets down the line anyway. 1 Syll’Esske 1 Masque 1 Contorted Epitome Total of 3 SC boxes which include: 30 Daemonettes 15 Seekers 1 Bladebringer on Exalted Chariot (built) 4 chariot kits unbuilt Worth mentioning, I have a SC! Beasts of Chaos and a box of Gors as well. I’m hoping to get 30 more Daemonettes, and 2 more boxes of Beasts of Chaos, but as I don’t have them right at this moment I’d prefer working with what I’ve got.
  6. I recently got the SC and might get 1 or 2 more since they’re such a good value. So how should I build the Ungors? And what are better in your opinions, Cygors or Ghorgons? If it helps, I’m planning on running a fair amount of Tzaangors (including Shamans) since I already have a standing DoT Force.
  7. So last year I got three of the Arcanites boxes, and three other tzaangor boxes and so far out of the 90 Tzaangors I have, I’ve assembled 40 of them. I did both units containing max mutants, max greatblades, and one command squad each, with the remainder filled by sword and shield. So that comes out to: 8 mutants 16 savage greatblades (includes both Twistbrays) 2 banners 2 musicians 12 S&S My question is, how do I assemble the remaining Tzaangors? A lot of the lists I’m seeing don’t have mutants on there for some reason, but from what I can tell there’s no reason not to take them. I also see that most lists run 1-2 shields in 20 blocks, so would I be severely punished for having more than that? Do I also go for the maximum banner and musicians now that we’re set to 1 per ten? And finally, what do I equip the Twistbrays with?
