  1. Prime Necrophoros being alive adds a bonus to Supreme Lord of the Bonereaper Legions in that it affects Ossiarch Bonereapers and at a greater range. The Prime's bonus does not specify that it is only part of the ability it is improving. Using this Command Ability once you have lost the Prime will see this command ability nerfed back to Praetorians. The rule does not specify that it is only for half of the command ability or just for the to-hit bonuses, it blankets the command ability and states it affect bonereaper's. Is that how it may have been intended? Possibly not, but thats how it is worded (for now).
  2. HOWEVER Prime Necrophoros: This Necrophoros holds aloft Katakros’ personal battle banner. When you use this model’s Supreme Lord of the Bonereaper Legions command ability, it affects friendly Ossiarch Bonereapers units while they are wholly within 36" of this model instead of wholly within 18" of this model. Keep Prime Necrophoros alive and add that +1 to the Arkai I say.
  3. And there is nothing wrong with that. Play and learn whatever way works best for you I reckon!
  4. Indeed, well spotted sir! Throw em in terrain then hahaha but thats not likely to be possible often. Still, a 3+ rerolling saves of 1 with a 5+ vs mortals and a 6+ deathless is fairly good!
  5. If they have these saves etc then you can overinvest in them easily which would possible push you into losing other synergies you could get or more board presence with faster moving units as well. I cant tell you NOT to take 2 units of 40 but I can say that there are other alternatives to doing this as well that you should certainly look at.
  6. Take Arkai for example. Put together a Petrifex Elite army with them in there. base 4+ save + a 5+ save vs mortals + a 6+ Deathless save for OBR keyword +1 to save rolls from being in Petrifex Elite = 3+ save + 5+ save vs mortals + a 6+ Deathless save for OBR keyword +1 to save rolls from Katakros' command ability = 2+ save + 5+ save vs mortals + a 6+ Deathless save for OBR keyword If Nagash is in army rerolling failed saves of 1, if successful cast of Mystic Shield, rerolling failed saves of 1 Now squeezing Nagash and Katakros into a list that works is unlikely but Mystic Shield isn't and there may even be other ways to reroll failed saves (which I think there is) in this fashion that aren't springing to mind immediately.
  7. I find them to be a great investment however pricey. They are great battleline that you can easily get to a 2+ save rerolling 1s with a 6+ deathless and rend -1 on 3 attacks a model. This is a far lot better than their little brothers the skeleton warriors.
  8. I haven't seen a solid list with Stalkers yet but they could be useful as they may not dish out the damage but can easily get to a 2+ save, rerolling 1s with a 6+ deathless as well. Their problem is damage. THey may not hit as hard but they might be better where attrition is required.
  9. That was the question I asked as well. The damage comes from its synergies. You can get units in this army at +1 to hit, +1 attacks, rerolling failed hits, additional rend etc quite easily. The trick I've found thus far is picking your sub faction and generals well. You can have entire armies on 2+ saves rerolling 1s with additional rend on attacks easy enough. Their strength comes from their ability to outlast an opponent similar to what the lore says while still having heavy hitting elite units. It is quite easy to have a unit of Morghast Arkai on a 2+ save with a 5+ or 6+ deathless save and thier native 5+ save vs mortals, with 4 attacks instead of 3, hitting on 3,s and rerolling failed hits of 1, at rend -3, 3 damage. That is a tough unit for 200 odd pts.
  10. I also found these but they are umm... well.... not the greatest... https://www.alternative-armies.com/collections/the-torture-chamber-collection/products/tor15-slave-market-and-harem-pt1-slave-girls
  11. Yeah I dont mind if they are nude etc. I did have a look and they might be alright. They dont need to be big busty naked chicks but thats a great so if I can find more to mix it up with male and female miniatures that would be awesome.
  12. Hi all, I am seeking some good models for some hero bases I am making and I was hoping you all might help me find the following... 1. Slave or captive/prisoner miniatures 2. Dead bodies (preferable naked due to army theme) I found a couple but the quality was not hot at all and they were super small for like DnD or smaller. I mean, 28mm would be ok of course but they would need to look better then the metal ones I saw for sale from the late 80s. Appreciate any help and advice I can get. Thank You very much in advance!
  13. I really hope this isnt the case. I was sure it had to be in your deployment zone which would mean youve already decided on sides etc? Which means you can use this terrain piece just like other armies use theirs?
  14. So arkhans's Curse of Years no longer nerfed by the old FAQ for his old warscroll?
  15. bahaha sorry, multitasking isn't my strong suit. edditted!
  16. No more save rolls against curse of years to stop the extra dice rolls??? Before Arkhan got a new warscroll, the FAQ on his CoY was: Q: With Curse of Years, are rolls that may negate the mortal wounds inflicted by the spell taken immediately after the wounds are caused, but before you roll the dice again to see if any more mortal wounds are suffered by the target unit? If yes, do I get to roll for additional mortal wounds for wounds that were negated? A: Yes to the first question, and no to the second question. So Arkhan's new rules for Curse of years mentions nothing of that It seems that the rules in his NEW scroll supercede his OLD scroll AND the FAQ on the old scroll? If so, bar the fact a 1 is now a fail and not an outright slaying, has Curse of years been made good again?

  18. My price list here is directly from GW. I didn't see the other leak but I am confident what i've put here are the prices Ozzies can expect on sale day.
  19. These are confirmed AUS prices with GW, I promise
  20. ❤️ you too mate. Have an amazing day.
  21. Australian Retail Prices (AUS$) for upcoming releases of Bonereapers and others:
  22. Please not again. I already lost 3 minutes of my life I wont get back the first go over. Besides that, anything that starts with any rendition of "if you don't like it still buy it" isn't going to be well received but I am sure you knew that when you wrote it. Anything you said you would prefer after that statement is as irrelevant as the cost of a handgunner is to the building of a Death list. Customers voting with their wallets is, not only their right, but also the best way to get the attention and send a message to any business. Like I said, I'm a buyer of these mini's and I like em. But if I wasn't I would vote with my wallet as I know many others are and I fully support them in their endeavours. If GW struggle as a result, then I hope they learn from it and make necessary changes (if indeed changes are found to be required). Happy to discuss with you elsewhere or via PM however reading the above back, I think it's likely anything further is not relevant to this specific thread.
  23. What would you prefer? Australians and New Zealanders just go into a store and say "excuse me Mr Manager, please inform head office that I am against these egregious prices and wish to express this disgust buy paying for these little plastic men at the extremely high prices you have placed on them without delay. I will also be back next week for the release of the rest of the stuff that I am sure will be as grossly priced and look forward to it".? Yeah man that will teach em. As far as it not making the game better goes, as someone who has worked in business for far too many years, I can tell you now that the things any business focuses on the most IS MONEY. If they push a product out and it makes little money, the shareholders get cranky and then they are forced to reflect and find out why, they ask their customers what they need to do and what went wrong if they cant see it themselves and then they move forward with threat knowledge and make the next attempt better. What this is basically saying is that people should buy the models even if they think they are trash (which I honestly don't think they are and I will be buying some) and then to provide feedback. Mate, a GW exec will look at that feedback and say "well this blokes feedback does not match up with our sales figures. Our sales figures show this bloke is not correct in saying we released a bad product because if the product was bad our sales figures would show a dip and even our customers surely aren't silly enough to buy a product they aren't happy with... are they?" Nope... Nope that's what happens here. To the point GW now seriously limit the amount of stock independant stores (who usually charge 10% less than what you find in a GW store) can have so that more people are pushed into pre ordering and buying from a GW store at full "retail". If GW treated its customers like they cared about them, Australians and New Zealanders would not have to deal with higher prices (even after taking into consideration differences in wages and taxes) all thanks to a loop hole in laws around the types of products they sell. The fact GW takes advantage of this and knowingly ripps of customers in some places and not in another shows they care more about getting those figures in for each quarterly report than they do about a customer getting ripped off. Conclusion: Army looks good, I dont think its bad and I will be getting some but these types of comments just come across as uninformed.
  24. Update on Pricing Australia AND New Zealand as well as answer some questions: 1. Yes this is confirmed pricing 2. Yes the dice costs are different (but why I am not sure) 3. Yes everything is available for pre order on Sat 26/10 and Available to collect the Sat 02/11
  25. GW Take advantage of loopholes in laws here in Australia that allows them to charge basically whatever they like so Australian prices are generally higher than what US and UK pay (even after conversions). NZ is hit even harder again.
