Consider making the sequitors 1x10 to maximize the Castellant buff? Also loses a drop.

I've got 2 versions at the moment. V1 is what I normally play However I'm considering this instead for maximum alphastrikery I have a couple of variations too. List 1 but dropping the Incantor and the CP to bump the protectors up to 10. Tonight I'm going to try list 1 without the Relictor, but with the Everblaze Comet instead, and the Scroll of Condemnation instead of the Mindlock Staff. EDIT - It's 4 drops (3 with the comet) so I usually try to go second and play for the double. I'll generally start with the Relictor and Skybow Judicators on the table if I want the Incantor to be in range for the Mindlock Staff. If I'm using the Comet, I'll probably just start the Incantor on the table if the opponent has no way of reaching her.

The tempest blade and stormstave is one attack profile (the 4A/+3+/3+/-1/1D one). The Grandstave (3A/3+/3+/0/2D) is better against 4+ or worse saves and worse only against 2+ saves.

Event was awesome. My generalship less so. My dice rolling a distant third! Discovered I'm good against Blades of Khorne. Had my first game against Slaanesh, where I had no idea what anything did. Got deserted by my dice against Neferata/Legion of Blood. And played like a chump vs Stardrake/6 Desolators. Ended up 2-3, but to be fair, I never felt going into any of the games (even Slaanesh, but that's probably just me not knowing any better!) that I was on to an auto loss. But the standard of opponents meant you couldn't afford any mistakes. Especially if you can't win a priority roll to save your life. Or make saves. Or wounds!

It's Blood and Glory tomorrow and I still haven't picked my list yet... Not that I'm indecisive you see. I have 2 choices ready to go. List one is just units that I like or just finished painting really. It does fine against "regular" tourney lists but struggles against tier 1 cheese attacks. The second list is more of a one trick pony. Has better answers to some optimised lists but will struggle against others. Anyway - list 1 And list 2 is So, long story short "unkillable" (I wish) Stardrake vs Sword of Judgement assassin. Which to go for? Which is more fun to play against? I normally like tanky armies. List 1 obviously has the stardrake while list 2 has the potential of 30 immune to battleshock 2+ rr1 Libs...

Your Gotrek looks cool, good effort! Is the list for a tournament? Have you had much practice with it? Also any chance we can get A*********e added to the swear filter?

Lord Arcanum to make the sequitors battleline. Lord Castellant to make them tanky. Knight Heraldor to give the evocators a bigger threat range.

WRT Anvilstrike - do people not just shoot the (bird)****** out of the Aetherwings? If not, why not? I know if I was playing against it with my Skyborne Slayers that would be job #1!

I had considered Arkanauts too, either 1x30 or 3x10 with light skyhooks, but it's a pain trying to get the hooks. At least ballistae are cheap to buy!

Ballistae. I have room in my list for 3 but no Ordinator. Are they ever worth taking without the LO? Or just a constant source of disappointment?

That Knight Questor looks awesome, and hopefully with its different wargear loadout, it might have slightly less bad rules than the regular one!

Regrowth from the Sylvaneth spell lore heals D6 to Sylvaneth or D3 to non Sylvaneth. So that works on allies I guess? EDIT - on topic I reckon the new rumour pic is one of the endless spells from Forbidden Power.

Agreed, but 4++ was only for 20+ guys, so now the pressure to take max size units is reduced. EDIT - Ninja'd!

I've tried it with 10 Evocators instead of the Sequitors too. Bit hittier and another wizard for battleplans where that matters for scoring, but I think the bigger blob of sequitors is better most of the time. I've also got a version with neither and just pump up one of the Liberator units to 30, which loses a drop, but it takes the list to 1970 so it loses out on an essential command point, so I've pretty much discarded it. BTW, the Judicator squads are equipped that way purely because it's the models I currently have. When I'm able to get some more, I'd like both squads to be crossbows with a shockbolt prime.

For the first list wouldn't a Lord Arcanum on Gryph Charger rather than on foot perfectly fill that 60 pt gap, and match the look of the rest of your army? As they're a soul wars model you can pick them up cheap too.

I was at ToS too, and also managed 3-2. Must have been nicer than you though as I got 2 fave game votes I was expecting... fluffier lists than the GT so I took some Vanguard, but soon wished I'd brought my GT list!
