    Hi all.

When the GHB2016 dropped, AoS took finally off in my gaming group.
But I got sick of flipping through my books the entire time very fast. From the battleplan currently played to the allegiance abilities and forward to the additional rules for Matched Play. And, oh yeah, what was the wording on the Battlebrew again?
If you play or know X-Wing, you're probably familiar with cards for, well, everything.
I like this approach a lot.
But GW failed to provide something similiar.
They hadn't even put out warscroll cards yet.
I knew I needed a solution, because I was forgetting about a lot of abilities.
Doing basically nothing but print design work in InDesign the whole day anyway, I decided I can whip these out myself.
    So I did.
I worked through the GHB2016 and every battletome and re-worked all of them following GHB2017. I posted them in my gaming group forum and on Dakkdakka.

As of right now, there are allegiance cards for all allegiances, including a handy card box where you can store your cards. No glue needed.
There is also a set for different GHB2017 section that I felt could profit from some cards.
When AoS was released, I made markers for buffs/debuffs and the terrain effects. I plan on reworking these soon.

I will upload them one after another in the Download section, so head over there.

each set contains: cover / card backside, Battle Trait(s), Command Traits, Artefacts, the two core spells (Arcane Bolt, Mystic Shield) on a single card, sub-faction specific spells card size is 41x63mm (same as X-Wing upgrade cards) language: English I tried to keep the original wording, but sometimes I had to abbreviate it to fit on the card without scaling down the font size. The rule intentions should still be clear. 'Dice' was continuously replaced with D3 or D6, 'wound roll' with 'To-Wound roll' (same for hit), 'Mortal Wounds' sometimes with 'MW' each set can be stored in a faction specific card box, with contents listed on the back (instructions)

If you find any errors or have suggestions, please let me know. I had fun creating these cards and hope people will find them useful and have fun using them in their games.

These cards are for personal use only and you should always keep your General's Handbook and/or Battletome nearby to solve any conflicts from bad wording on the cards.
These cards are only a playing aid and never could nor should replace an official publication.
Please let me know if I have used anything you would like to be removed.

The two latest releases for the Battletomes are here.
I couldn't find a high resolution of the cover art, normally GW or the artist itself uploads it somewhere. Not this time, though
I'll keep looking and will update once I'm able to find them, so it can match the Battletome cover 1:1
And as a note: I restructured the Hungy/Not hungry Battle Trait of the Mawtribes. Now it immediately tells you what condition 1 is and what bonus you get for this, then the same for condition 2 (instead of condition 1/condition 2, bonus for condition 1/bonus for condition 2)

I also took the time to review the cards in the Core Set.
It now contains the common Command Abilities (Core & Matched Play), Common Spells, Triumphs (Core & Matched Play), Scenery (Core & Matched Play), extra Command Point, and a table for rolling a Realm of Battle . I removed a lot of cards of Open and Narrative Play (they will return in other sets eventually). I think this will make it a lot more attractive for the player base.

    Skaven are done.

And I realized that I forgot to put up a Blog uzpdate for the Gloomspite Gitz, so I'll link them too.

If you're waiting for Flesh-Eater Courts, a workable version will follow today. A minor update for them follows as soon as I get hold of a high res picture of the battletome cover artwork.
And of course, updates in a few weeks when the release errata drop.

    Well, not so big FAQ.
Regardless, I update the handfull of cards that were affected.

If you already printed them, best either reprint the specific sheet or the single card from the "Print" file (e.g. duplex print: 1, 5 [Cover, specific card page number])

    Updated cards:
    - Ironjawz: 2018-12-18: Big FAQ 2018/2: "Mighty Destroyers"
    - Ghyran: 2018-12-18: Big FAQ 2018/2: "Spell: Mirrorpool"
    - Ulgu: 2018-12-18: Big FAQ 2018/2: "Realmscape Features: Shadow Realms"
    - Artefacts of the Realms: 2018-12-18: Big FAQ 2018/2: "Ghyran: Artefact: Jade Diadem", "Ulgu: Artefact: Doppelganger Cloak", "Ulgu: Artefact: Talisman of the Watcher"

    Have fun.

So... I don't know how, but somehow it slipped my mind that the GHB 2018 contained more stuff I wanted to do in card form than just the allegiance abilities.
I needed someone from here to PM me if I could do something like the cards in the Warlord Edition.
My first thought was... "I already included everything in the Core Set, didn't I?"
    I didn't.

So here's part 1 for the GHB:

I'm trying something new with the boxes, they are now one piece, tuck boxes and fit on a single page. The downside: you have to glue it at the side and bottom. Score the fold lines before cutting the box out, I added marks to assist you. The front also needs to be cut along the lines and folded through the AoS logo, so it's more accessible. There are tiny white dots on the side, 10mm down from the top of the cover.

Let me know if you guys like this box style more (or less).

I wasn't happy with the Summoning cards I made for Nurgle initially, but was lacking any inspiration.
With AoS 2.0 and the flood rewroked Summoning abilities, I made cards, because getting the abilities updated was time consuming enough.
As I'm reworking the old cards into the new layout (see Realms of Battle, Core Set and Artefacts of the Realms as of right now), and the old cards are still up to date, I can take some time.

So here's the first mockup for the general style and functionality (see attachment for download).

Fix them together with a rivet, a spare X-Wing dial rivet or these clips (no idea how they are called, we use them in Germany for cheap delivery (no glue, post office needs to be able to open the envelopes):

So I finally finished up the remaining cards: the Realms of Battle.
These card packs include the rules from the Core Book and the additional spells from Malign Sorcery.
So you never have to flip through 2 books again while playing.

Oh, and these are the first cards with the new and improved layout! I hope you like them.

    Have fun.

Re-working all files turned out to be more work than anticipated... that said, Grand Alliance Order is done.

    Yaaaay!

I still hope I get everything done before Daughters of Khaine is released, though.
Death and Destruction should be relatively easy, as Legions of Nagash is already in the new size.

    New cards are up:
    Two things to note:
    1. it has the new size of 63 x 88 mm, previously tested with Maggotkin of Nurgle
This is the same size as X-Wing pilot cards, Magic or Pokemon cards and will therefore fit a lot of sleeves. It has better readability, the print should be clearer on medium class printers and the cover should pop more.
I'm working on redoin the old cards all in this new size and will update alll download links soon to these versions.

    2. LoN has over 110 cards included, due to 6 different allegiances and 2 spell lores. Therefore, it doesn't fit the normal card boxes I designed for 40/70 cards. Together with the new size, I'm working on a solution to still cram the card box onto A4 sheets.

    Have fun.

After playing a few games recently after a longer pause where there was no interest in AoS in my gaming group, I'm found myself fumbling with the allegiance cards.
Dim lights, late at night and my eyesight is getting a bit worse every year (not because of parasites I hope), I needed to pick up the cards from the table if I wanted to read what this ability does again.
After creating an expansion pack for the Space Marine Datacards (seriously, not even the Chapter Tactics on cards like in 7th?) which I matched with their size of 63x88 mm, I made a quick version of the recent Maggotkin of Nurgle cards in this format.
Although it does take a lot more pages to print (8 cards per DIN A4 instead of 15), I could match the backside better with the battletome cover, because white font was now readable in this size without an outline.
The font size of the abilities is now 8pt instead of 6pt, which should make them a whole lot more readable from a distance.

I might be biased though, so what do you think about this?
    Alternative version?
    Replacement of the smaller cards?
    Unnecessary?

Ohhh, AoS finally got a new and shiny Battletome!
Time to whip out another set of cards!

I used the new and darker Age of Sigmar logo and got rid of bold formatting of (imo) important rule parts. GW got their rules to the point mostly, which would've meant making a whole card in bold.
Keywords and unit names are still formatted differently.
Have fun with them and if you find any mistakes, let me know!
